Just finished building an incubator for some quail eggs I'm expecting, I've had them before as egg layers but this will be my first time raising them from the egg. The bit about the feed was particularly helpful, I'll probably be revisiting with questions as they come up. Love your videos and thanks so much!! Where's the best way to start, buying eggs online or buying grown quail somewhere else (and where?)? Can you use a regular incubator for the eggs or does it have to be a specific one?
If you’re looking for a collapsible cage wynola has one but they might not have it on their site you’ll have to give them a call and they can set you up.

Any incubator will do.
What problems can come from grinding the food? I have seen other videos that do recommended making it smaller for the chicks

They can fight if introducing adult birds.
