It’s a great start and you’ll love both! Keep an eye out on Reverb, eBay and Retro Gear Shop. That’s where you’ll have the most chances to find one until the next batch. Best of luck!

Though I usually shun unboxing videos, waiting for my Stam 251 to arrive (approx two weeks from now) I was all over this video. I'm hoping I get the same shock-mount with mine. I agree that those clasps are preferred to the other methods of securing the mount to the mic. I too plan on ordering a 800G MKll. By now you should have the Stam Loyalty Card :)

I am pretty sure you’ll love the mic, it’s definitely a sweet sounding microphone. I’m pretty sure you’ll receive the same shock mount, Stam has been pretty consistent. SA-800G looks very exciting. Stam Audio Loyalty Fan Boy Card indeed! LOL!

I'd say that by now he knows your address by heart when he fills out the paperwork on your shipment :) That Stamchild you got from him looks so, so sweet. It would be nice to hear some samples of that. Enjoy your toys, you've got some really nice stuff to get creative with.

You’d be surprised, there are many Stam Customers that have multiple Stam Units, I just happen to make quite a few videos in TH-cam. Well... Since the latest video was motivated by a viewer, stay tuned mid next week to check out the First Impressions Review of the Stam Audio Stamchild SA-670 motivated by your comment.
This is the best answer I could find (th-cam.com/video/uX39uiq8qW8/w-d-xo.html). I did a quick test but was an awful performance so I don’t know yet. Working on rearranging my rack right now so I don’t have my mic pres to run the mic thru. Will keep you posted.
Don’t know which guy you’re referring to but if it’s about Stam, I’d say he’s more of an Avid pro audio manufacturer who’s slowly but surely delivering now and yes! Not only brilliant mics but brilliant pro audio gear in general.
