Its not really personal. A large part of her wealth is also tied up in the success of the WWE. What is bad for Vince is often bad for the WWE's business and indirectly Linda's financial situation.

If Brian goes away, it just gets a new host and keeps going (which would be a massive improvement in my opinion). He's way too arrogant, for example, calling himself "The Great" Brian Last. He thinks that he is correct about everything. He thinks that whatever he says, has some kind of effect on the current wrestling scene, when in reality, what Jim says may get to some people, but I'm absolutely positive that none of them give even the tiniest of shits about what Brian Last says or thinks about anything at all. Most probably don't even know his name.
Yeah. You can see the the same "I'm famous now" mentality appear in him just like it appeared in that woman who was the previous co-host. They start to see themselves as an attraction and start to promote themselves. They confuse the popularity of the person they are on the show with - with their own popularity. And it always ends badly.

I was 12 yrs old when Jim debuted on raw and as a 42 yr old man I still remember how blown away I was by this larger than life colorful character , being a Mexican American from California that southern swagger and colorful suits just blew my mind, I thought to myself I fucking love this guy , a handsome yuppie snob who tells it like it is, all these years later I’m still a huge fan of Jim, I absolutely agree 100% with almost everything he says and that’s rare for me. But no podcast about wrestling exposes the truth like Jim cornettes . That Yokozuna spokesman stuff was legendary , and I love his take on the whole lex Luger story on why he never won the title , I think that lex Luger story should be made into a documentary an epic failure on wwe part not to make leg the champ, he had it all the look, the physic but I think cracked under the pressure of being the guy. I didn't even get a chance to be mad because me and my mother were laughing our asses off. Like, Ricky Morton had bullied him somewhere when they were kids. The heat he put into it. I think Dusty Rhodes had them repackage that angle. Because the next time right before they beat the Rock and Roll for the belts he jabbed Ricky Morton in the throat with it and he coughed up blood. It would make sense for them to move operations to FL. With the PC already there, they could even create a physical hall of fame/ WWE museum to display all the memorabilia and regalia that is in storage somewhere and make some money off of it. Everyone goes to FL for vacation anyway so make it a WWE destination as well.
Cost of living in CT is outrageous, anyway. Taxes probably higher, too. I can only guess they're still based in Stamford because of all the local employees. Maybe he doesn't have it in him to ask them to move, or he doesn't think they will and will have to mass hire in FL. But, big corporations move headquarters all the time, so Im surprised he hasn't.

Other than that, it's all good.
I never hear anything negative unless I missed it. The administration's approvals are in the tank, yet the only political talk is anti-Republican. Surely there's something he thinks they do wrong? I'm sure there is, but he seems to be politically tribal like WWE/AEW fanboys are to "their companies". Meaning: "never talk bad about our side". I'm not even a Republican and I'm saying all this.

Fwiw I always kind of thought, even before these allegations came out, that while Vince and Linda stayed together, their marriage/love/affection towards each other was long dead. They were more close partners with separate lives and interests...McMahon had his affairs and Linda did whatever she did (political ambitions) and both were fine with this arrangement

Generally agree with you, but thats a little unfair to Maher lol. Maher is constantly criticizing his own side (liberals and Democrats). I can't recall Jim EVER doing that (I'm glad to be corrected, though!). Jim only ever seems to criticize conservatives and Republicans, as if every Democrat and liberal is squeaky clean and does a great job. No scandals, no bad policies, no ineffectiveness, etc. Most on his side aren't THAT partisan, they're willing to call some things out. Jim never seems to and it's strange.
