I got the same truck. I got it 2 years ago. Is a 2002 except mine is not an sr5 its got a bench seat and no tachometer on the dash. Absolutely love it! Bear-bones basic and used it as a landscaping truck for a little bit. Now its my daily for work. I got it with 175k it now has 192k runs like a champ!
Have the same truck Pre-Runner Moon Mist is the color. Just restored the front end suspension/brakes, changed the Catalytic converter both up/down sensors. The A/C compressor recently went out and that is replaced all Denso parts. I think you said it best....I love this truck. Oh and 217000 miles and it has the 2.7 liter 4 cylinder
Had this exact truck new back in 2001. I’ve had prob 8-9 other trucks and by far this was my favorite truck. It was a goat. Put in 4L and it would go anywhere
We have a really beat Toyota Tacoma and since I’m 14 in the country area and need a truck I’ve been trying to fix it up. All we need is the cable holder or whatever it’s called and a new battery and maybe some interior fixing like the radio.
