Nice truck, had a chance to buy a low mileage 99 tacoma for 12 grand but bought a new colorado instead for double the money. After $2300 in repairs later I'm wishing I bought the tacoma.
this truck is a time capsule, but there's just something so charming and simple about it. this was a time when cars were designed for driving in mind, but what i really miss about these older trucks, is the size. with modern trucks getting too big it seems every few years, the Tacoma along with the Nissan Frontier, the Ford Ranger, they were the perfect size for someone that didn't need a truck for heavy loads. i also love that straight bench, trucks now a days that center console takes up so much space. now that 4 cylinder is on the slower side, but it is a light truck at only 3100 pounds. still Toyota back then, their inline 4's were underpowered compared to Honda. however Toyota had better quality, i also like the color of that interior, i wish Toyota still made colors like that. everyone now a days, you get that dark gray interior or black. but Toyota used to have lighter interior colors.
This is what I am looking for, for my business. I cant find one. The new trucks are soo massive so over priced. Its like buying a semi truck. Awful man
I have one w 484,000 miles and going strong! I have driven it since 2004.
That’s awesome
These trucks are bullet proof, I’ve seen em with 500k 600k 800k miles lol little trucks from back in the 90s were very well built
So simple and reliable, I'd absolutely love to have a truck like this!
What do you drive now?

Some real economical transportation for a long time.
my dad has this car and has 218k miles and its running perfectly fine
Not shabby, I like these things because they’ve been on the planet longer than I have.

Gracias, excelente prueba. La recomiendas??
It gets the job done around a small town very well I think. Wouldn’t get one in a city:
I'm watching this back to back with your McLaren test drive! Which one do you like better? 😃
Tacoma lol😂😂
My papa used to have this truck, it was red, and it was a 2002 model
I just got my 2001 with 80 Miles original
Runs so well for 21 year old car
Funny how every one says under 200k miles like it has 20 miles and yet they complain when my car has 186k like it's already beaten and defeated
228k just barely broke in.
You should’ve done what whistlindiesel did to the Hilux
nice review
I want to buy it.
Do you still have it?
It sold sorry, was at John roberts nissan.
Digging the used car review.
Where should I contact?
I have the same truck 115k miles
How much is it?
$8 or $9k I believe
