Embarrassing but I used this on my breasts for about a year and it most definitely worked…. I gained like 2 cup sizes. Only downside is that after about the 6 month mark I started to notice that I wasnt only gaining weight in my breasts, which wasn’t what I wanted.
I've tried volufiline to adress my cheeks. Before, my left cheeks feels flater than my right cheeks due to facial assymetry (from habitual one side chewing). Now I can definitely feel my left side cheeks is now more fuller and almost no massive distinction between my right. And mind you, I'm not gaining weight. I'm still like starving most of the days so...😂
@@mx_moi1964you are not supposed to dilute it. It's already oil based. Volufiline has 2 ingredients, it's not an ingredient on its own. It's a name of a product made from 2 ingredients.
Some notes. While not on the formulation itself, there are some studies on the main ingredient, sarsasapogenin and it does seem to have some points toward working in this manner but by virtue of being an indirect ppar gamma agonist not unlike something like acetyl hexapeptide 38 (also known as adifyline). Both of these topicals don't do as well as an oral thiazolidinedione like pioglitazone for this mechanism but doesn't seem to be as bad in terms of side effects so 🤷
I started using Volufuline after seeing someone I follow with great reviews use this for over 6 months. She used it very sparingly in her cheekbones, under eyes and lips and I def could see a slight difference. I haven’t been that consistent but I do use it on my upper lip and do feel it makes my lip look fuller! Product has no side effects or irritation at all! It’s not cheap and hard to find. Thank you for the input because there is not much out there about it BUT a few very popular you tubers are starting to also talk about this.
Sidmool Min Jung in Amazon. It’s def not a miracle product and I do agree with what Dr Dray is mentioning but I do feel I notice a slight change in the lip. It I’ve been using it for about awhile but not consistent. No side effects at all for me. After watching Olga in you tube I decided to try it, but a few units of dysport for a lip flip is money better spent for a better effect 😁
It must work different for different people, I can most definitely tell a difference after using it for just a short time. I am grateful it worked for me!
@@LallateapourerThe results are permanent. Depending on the place you want to apply and how deep your marks/lines are, it can take six months to achieve a noticeable or desired result. It is also recommended to use this product while you are still young, since your skin still produces a good amount of collagen and you are in a phase of development
Well Dr Rajani he is really great doctor, here on youtube, he just created his own cream adding this ingredient. He said that he tried on his customers, and saw great results. Well he is not of those nonsense doctors. Very interesting. I wasn’t even aware that this product exists! I have to agree with you that it seems too good to be true, though. And I love that you used the word dearth!
I’ve been using this for a month or so. I really haven’t noticed much. Then again I’m 62 years old and it may take 6 months or longer to notice anything. No irritation though. Thanks for giving us your opinion. Xoxo 😘
At your age you will need to give it at least a few months to see results, unfortunately it works better on younger folks. With age everything slows down. And even if young, the minimum time to see results it's a month, 55 days really. So older folks that stop it quickly doesn't mean it doesn't work (for me it's working great but I'm 35)
Thanks for thinking out of the box and questioning the results of the study as to what & which results were not mentioned in the study for this product.
ive used it for a few years on and off. strictly on my nasal-labial folds, lips and occasionally dabbing a tiny amount on my festoons. initially i would say i saw a very slight difference on my laugh indentations, and i don't think it's gone away either, but i think sun damage over the summers and natural aging make a harsher effect than this product's benefits, if that makes sense. that's not to say it's worthless, given i'd say it works but only to an extent that you yourself might notice in the mirror. maybe someone who really knows your face too. I know i applied it daily to my laugh lines for at least a month at some point as I made that a goal, and other than that I visit it roughly once to twice a week, sometimes skipping a week. It's very oily and runny so I use a very tiny sponge applicator with a pencil-like handle to apply it specifically to those aforementioned areas, and i only do so on dry pre-moisturized skin and I wait 15+ minutes for it to fully dry bc like she said, other products could easily mess up its distribution. So it is a bit of a chore to apply and I'm currently looking into a cream formulation for that reason (which is how I ended up here haha). I understand it's kind of an understudied product, but I have deep indentations on my laughline area so it's worth it to me given I'm not interested in fillers. As for my lips, I'm really not sure because I'm not as consistent there. I'm actually trying to up my usage on them to see if I can spot a difference, but I'm only a few days in right now. Ideally I'd use a cream version on my laugh lines, and the oil on my lips as it is very moisturizing. A quarter of a pea-size amount can cover my lips and laugh lines, that's how spreadable and oily it is. I've considered buying a cream and mixing them together but I'm afraid to play chemist lol.
I’ve read somewhere that vokufiline is based in a phytoestrol therefore it would make sense for it to work on mammary tissue and have only subtle e effect in face but not around the eyes or targeted application. It’s probably more effective on older people who have lower levels of circulating estriol.
Why watch this vlog if you don't value her information. She is just providing the scientific facts of something that is popular. Every age of civilization has had "goals" or "ideals" of beauty, based on their culture and upbringing.
You need to mix it into a cream to be absorbed better. 10% works better and a 20% stick balm is great for getting it where you need it on your face. It does work for me anyway
True story: I was doing a facial to a customer on her 60’ s who had an incredible amazing body because she had always worked out and followed a healthy lifestyle. When I told that her face was on the dry side and recommended to go for a rich texture instead the watery gel she used, she told me: OF COURSE! Thanks for covering such interesting topics Dr. Dray. Would you be able to do a video on how much protection we actually get from UVA rays in sunscreen and how to identify sunscreens with the highest UVA protection?
She's probably already done something similar in a number of her sunscreen videos. There's one called how much sunscreen & how often? You might also check out Lab Muffin as well.
Korean and Japanese sunscreens have a “PA rating” followed by 2-4 plus signs (+). It is listed on the front label. The highest UVA rating would be “PA++++”, for example. SPF is only an indication of UVB protection. On the other hand, European sunscreens tend to have 3-4 different UVA filters, such as Uvinul A, Uvinul B, Tinosorb, etc.
I used it and it worked almost immediately after application which makes me suspect that I bought something that wasn't really volufiline and might be dangerous. I used it for my hollow eyes. I got it from some random greek clinic I found online
Hi Dr. Dray! I always apply and reapply sunscreen throughout it the day. I have a question, though: when reapplying for the second, third, etc time, do you still need to wait 15 minutes prior to sun exposure? Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge with everyone
I was in Italy and was applying sunscreen 8 times a day, every two hours exact, because of how much sunlight there was. I noticed that when I applied chemical sunscreen again in that 15-minute activation period when I had to stay out in the sun, I felt my skin burn. I think that was the sunscreen reactivating in my skin, and it hadn’t reactivated yet. I suggest going in shade in between applications. That burning sensation happens to me because I’m pale and my skin has no tan, so any direct contact with sunlight is irritating. I also know the sunscreen itself was never irritating to the sun-I knew it was because of the strong sun.
Appreciate your honest review. I think I'll pass and continue to age as gracefully as I can. 😬 Happy Monday, Dr Dray! I hope you have a lovely evening. 💙
Just do whatever makes you feel good about yourself; it’s kinda sad how youth correlates to that. You can’t undo aging and aging is part of life everyone needs to experience. Trying to prevent the inevitable is wasting life
They sell the Dr. Tree Volu 10 on HSN, and people say it works. I think I’ll pick up a bottle and give it a try and then report back and let everybody know if it does work in this cream. I’m willing to try anything that well plump or firm up my skin.
What do you think about Adipeau cream. People claim it works, but my concern is mostly about the safety of it. A review of that will be greatly appreciated.
Dr. Drayton, what ingredients or products would you suggest that could potentially bring back some fullness to lips? Would you consider doing a video on lips!? Hi Dr Dray I hadn't heard of this one and lets be honest a 2% increase is not going to look in any way meaningful in real life - just saying. Add to that the unknown long term risks of applying "extracts" to the breast tissue - nope not for me. The other thing to remember is that no woman has both breasts that are exactly the same size - we're all slightly smaller on one side, with many women having a real noticeable difference between the two. I worked as a Registered Nurse for several years in the breast unit, so I've seen a wide range of torsos in that time. Breast tissue itself can be/feel slightly different in different women also - it's an extremely subjective way to test any product as far as I can tell. Hormonal fluctuations also affect breast size throughout the month/cycle and not everyone's cycle is an exact 28 days. it's junk science in my opinion and not worth our time/money. I too am a sceptic with these things, but this smacks of "science washing" which seems to be the new "green washing" in the beauty industry. Using a moisturiser on the body every day will make the skin probably look two percent plumper, so I agree with you as to the effects you talked about. Perhaps instead investing in a retinoid for the body for plumper/smoother skin might be more beneficial? Best wishes.
It’s baffling to me how many people will just put things on or in their face without any real research. There is an episode of Botched where the patient was so eager to have injections put it her face and either her face rejected it and it ‘cemented’ or it was some sort of ‘cement’ they injected in her face, I can’t remember exactly what it was. However, now she has to live with these cystic type masses on her face. I’m sure that has to wreak havoc on her self esteem having people stare at her. Why, as humans, myself included, are we so afraid of aging? Things that make you go hmm 🤔
Yeah there are many sad cases of people getting unregulated filler injection from like a random person out of their garage, only to go on to develop serious disfigurement
I was really badly damaged by dysport/botox injections at 26. I never in my wildest dreams thought what happened to me could or would happen. I lost 3 years of my life because of it and I’vr developed body dysmorphia. People need to chill out on the injectibles.
I work in an esthetics office and just the other day we had a client in here that had injected his own lips. Who knows what he purchased online to do it, now he has nerve damage in his lips and can’t feel them 😔
Sounds like the answer to a lot of peoples prayers… Only thing I’m really wondering is if it has some sort of rebound effect, like what if you stop using it or don’t use it as much will you have shrinkage worse than when you started… Thanks for bringing this to our attention we could always use alternatives to surgery!
Happy Monday! Have you tried the Coppertone Kids Sunscreen Tear Free Mineral Based Water Resistant Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 50? Saw it on sale very affordable!
Surely the big issue with study is, how they're measuring size, and the fact the sample size is so tiny? 30 is nothing and the results will not be statistically significant, and that's besides all the potential methods issues with the study. Personally I would dismiss this products claims entirely.
Would you be willing to do a video on Perricone MD High Potency Classics Face Finishing & Firming Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 please? Or on Perricone MD in general?
It is like an abuse all these talk and telling women they can´t age without having special creams, lotions or procedures. How about just take care of us, eat healthy, exercise and be grateful we get to age. Not all have that privilege.
No one is saying they can’t age without all these things. It should be pretty clear that if you want to get procedures done (big or small), wear special creams, sunscreen, bake yourself in the sun or not, you should do whatever you like. And if you are happier with more wrinkles, less wrinkles, tons of wrinkles, tons of sagging, less sagging, it’s all okay as long as it’s okay with you. And sometimes just wearing sunscreen helps at least avoid added damage from the sun that kills our collagen and gives us added sun spots. You don’t have to be privileged to do at least the basics and again it’s all about choices, whether we want to care of ourselves or not in whichever way. We shouldn’t shame people that want to do whatever they want to their skin though.
I'm doubtful about this as well. I have a sunken spot on my forehead which occurred after having MOHS to remove a basal cell carcinoma. It is right in the middle of my forehead. I'm fine with the tiny scar but the concaved area is very noticeable. I've had two dermatologist tell me they will do nothing to fill it because of the location. (risk of blindness, stroke or death) Anyway I had a pharmacist recommend this as something to try. (she told me to use it with an oil based moisturizer) So, I am dabbing it on that single spot to see what happens. Since there seem to be no other options I am trying it for 2-3 months. I appreciate your analysis and am keeping my expectations low.
Dr. Dray!! Plz review olaplex. It’s so popular and idk what to believe. I’ve been using the derma e bonding oil as a dupe. Idk if it’s placebo or actually working.
The combination and the formulation maters!! It is much more than deep moisturizer, but it must be formulated professionaly, within the proper vehicle, and alies! I believe that is better to invest to a formulated product...You feel like your cells can consume again every available ingridient..Iam over 50,and have the knowlage to formulate a cosmetic product,so i added the extract it as an active ingridient to a gel/cream at the corect percentage ... 0,3%
I appreciate your informative videos. But the acoustics in the room where you record are challenging to the viewer's ears. I know you do all your videos in that location, but if you have received feedback from viewers, perhaps you may consider making a change. Earlier on when you recorded in your bedroom, the sound was great!
Will it happen? Youth is undeniably beautiful. I think we do need much more exposure to images of woman who have NATURAL faces, sans surgery, filler and botox. The more images we see of older people who actually look like real people, the more our eyes and brains will accept these images as acceptable.
Age is such a privilege many are denied of. Embrace it and cherish it. I miss seeing lines on people's faces🤣🤣 someone's who has aged gracefully looks a whole lot better than someone who's denied it and messed with their face in my opinion
@@kam0406 Not that long ago all women were "natural" It's just been in the last few decades that the cosmetic industry has convinced the masses that natural aging is unattractive and that it must be "corrected."

Where you using the undiluted one?
Did you dilute it in any oil or did you apply it directly?
@@mx_moi1964you are not supposed to dilute it. It's already oil based. Volufiline has 2 ingredients, it's not an ingredient on its own. It's a name of a product made from 2 ingredients.

I feel lucky to have Dr. Dray's expert opinion on so many topics.💕💖💝🌺
Some notes. While not on the formulation itself, there are some studies on the main ingredient, sarsasapogenin and it does seem to have some points toward working in this manner but by virtue of being an indirect ppar gamma agonist not unlike something like acetyl hexapeptide 38 (also known as adifyline). Both of these topicals don't do as well as an oral thiazolidinedione like pioglitazone for this mechanism but doesn't seem to be as bad in terms of side effects so 🤷
Dr Dray this color blouse looks great on you along with the lip color, beautiful!!
Your opinions are invaluable Dr. Dray, thank you for sharing
Can you name the you tuber using it? I'd love to check her out!
Where do you purchase it? When I Google it I see a few different marketed as this product
Olgatoja. You need to scroll down a ways and you’ll see her videos on it 😁
Sidmool Min Jung in Amazon.
Wow crazy timing I just learned about this and was considering buying it!
I have used this a while ago and it works. It's subtle but it did work. It takes time but does something
Hi, are the results temporary? How long have you used it for ?
@@LallateapourerThe results are permanent. Depending on the place you want to apply and how deep your marks/lines are, it can take six months to achieve a noticeable or desired result. It is also recommended to use this product while you are still young, since your skin still produces a good amount of collagen and you are in a phase of development
Bottom line - if Dr. Dray is skeptical, I am too! 😀
Well Dr Rajani he is really great doctor, here on youtube, he just created his own cream adding this ingredient. He said that he tried on his customers, and saw great results. Well he is not of those nonsense doctors. Just wanted to know how this serum (voluline) working for you? I am interested in buying soon.
no way you are sixty two you look fourty max
At your age you will need to give it at least a few months to see results, unfortunately it works better on younger folks. With age everything slows down. And even if young, the minimum time to see results it's a month, 55 days really. So older folks that stop it quickly doesn't mean it doesn't work (for me it's working great but I'm 35)
I appreciate the important details in all your videos. It helps me to determine what products are good for me. Thank you
Thanks for thinking out of the box and questioning the results of the study as to what & which results were not mentioned in the study for this product.
ive used it for a few years on and off. strictly on my nasal-labial folds, lips and occasionally dabbing a tiny amount on my festoons. initially i would say i saw a very slight difference on my laugh indentations, and i don't think it's gone away either, but i think sun damage over the summers and natural aging make a harsher effect than this product's benefits, if that makes sense. that's not to say it's worthless, given i'd say it works but only to an extent that you yourself might notice in the mirror. maybe someone who really knows your face too.
Thank u for this review. Have u seen any difference in lip fullness since this post?
Any updates?
What Volufiline did you use?
I’ve read somewhere that vokufiline is based in a phytoestrol therefore it would make sense for it to work on mammary tissue and have only subtle e effect in face but not around the eyes or targeted application. It’s probably more effective on older people who have lower levels of circulating estriol.
Opposite. It’s way more effective on younger ppl. For older ppl it does basically nothing
Can it work on the lips?
I was going to ask you to critique this product. Lo and behold you told me everything about it!
Why watch this vlog if you don't value her information. She is just providing the scientific facts of something that is popular. Every age of civilization has had "goals" or "ideals" of beauty, based on their culture and upbringing.
Whenever I hear a product making these types of claims hasn’t been peer reviewed, I’m extremely skeptical 🧐
You need to mix it into a cream to be absorbed better. 10% works better and a 20% stick balm is great for getting it where you need it on your face. It does work for me anyway
how do you use it?

Great question. I'd like to know the answer to this too.
I'd like to know too 👀
Great question
Lab Muffin says whether it’s chemical or physical sunscreen, it works the moment you apply it on.

Who knows what he purchased online to do it, now he has nerve damage in his lips and can’t feel them 😔
Volufiline did nothing for me, I used it for my under-eye hollows, not a thing (anyone had a positive experience?

It is like an abuse all these talk and telling women they can´t age without having special creams, lotions or procedures. How about just take care of us, eat healthy, exercise and be grateful we get to age. Not all have that privilege.
Yep. Pro-age instead of anti-age.
@@liliwonka1637 I like "pro age"! That needs to be the motto of this new revolution!
@@kam0406 Does that mean you’ll be protesting people that wear sunscreen then?

The combination and the formulation maters!! It is much more than deep moisturizer, but it must be formulated professionaly, within the proper vehicle, and alies! Volufiline is a product... Not an ingredient. It's oil based with 1 actif ingredient, you use it as it comes. It is well formulated.

We need to normalize aging!
Totally agree.
