I had my lips done last week for the very first time. I'm 56 and like my lips, just wanted more projection and border definition. My doctor actually said I have very elastic lip tissue and she would need to use a different technique once she had a good feel! I'm very pleased with the result so far.
I want to get filler in my bottom lip because it is smaller than my top lip. I’m so scared it will look unnatural. This educational video is so helpful. Thank u.
My lips 💋 have good elasticity they can handle a bit more filler n still look natural 😊 my friend went together and she was very upset because she had 5he same amount put in and the result was completely different...almost like nothing was done...
My lips are extremely thin, almost not upper lip at all, but they appear to be quite elastic so that’s encouraging. Would love to try a Botox lip flip first before fillers because I want a subtle change so that no one knows I’ve had anything done.
Thank you for your video! Always so informative and helpful! Do you think it would be better to start building up lip filler at a younger age or does it not matter?
I have naturally fuller lips, but i think they run on the firmer side. I went to a new injector and even though I mentioned I've never done a full syringe she felt i could go to 0.8ml. Now 2.5 weeks in it feels as if my upper lip is still not soft and it looks rubbery when i smile, like there's something in there. Not happy with them whatsoever
@NaturalInjector Hey Emily! Is it normal to feel the filler/lumps 1 week post getting 1 ml of Kyssee lip filler? Is it normal for the filler to take more than 1-2 weeks for it to integrate into the lips and no longer feel it ?
Hi Constantia. Yes I think it’s important to not re-treat lips if they still have a good amount of volume in them. I have many ways I assess this and made a video about it 👉 th-cam.com/video/1-Tp5-eLMAQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ctDkCxdd6z2-FyiQ
Hi Emily, great video as always! I was wondering if you would be able to dedicate a video solely to ‘m-shaped lips’? I had my first lip filler treatment done a few months ago and was told my lips are very difficult to treat due to them being m shaped. Despite seeing slightly more volume post filler, my top lip still looks quite thin… are you able to provide information about why they are tricky to treat but also is it possible for my type of lip to achieve a full look over multiple treatments? I’ve also had a lip flip before and I found the results were very temporary. If filler is not suitable for my type of lips, I’m not sure I want to commit to getting regular lip flips every few months 😕 It would be great to hear your take on this and if you have any examples of m shaped lip transformations with lip filler over the years that would be amazing to see! Thank you xx
Hi! Glad you enjoyed the video. I have found that people with very sharp M shaped lips usually have very thin lateral tubercles to their upper lips. With that being said it’s subjective and depends on how M shaped your lips are. By the way, lip flips don’t last that long for anyone. I’m not sure if you saw my video on the Botox Lip Flip but you can check it out. The question is, where do you feel you feel your lips fall on the lip flexibility scale? That would probably be a better determining factor of how large your lips could get w/ future treatments.
My top lip is projected, that’s my problem, it’s has a lot of volume, but if you at me from the top it’s like I have no lips 😅 ,and I have high cupids bow, idk how filler can help with that
So i naturally have a good pout and good cupids bow- but my sides taper off pretty steep and my mouth doesn’t have good width. i got lip filler 0.25 and it seemed to help a lot so i plan to touch up an additional 0.25. BUT my lips still do curl inwards when i smile if i were to get lip flip, would it also affect my resting face? i think it would be a bit overboard if so with the 0.5 filler
Hi! You might want to get Botox on your DAO) muscle is a facial muscle that pulls down the corners of the mouth and is responsible for frowning. This might soften the RBF.
@@theuzumakis2624 no but it can last for several years if someone was over-injected. As the product gets absorbed it should soften but that varies based on how your body reabsorbs the product and how much you got injected
@@beebeeramone4641 Thanks. No one has ever said that. I think we could probably pass for cousins or something lol. Our skin complexion and facial features have likeness.
I have thin lips. French. Lip liner makes sense. Celebrate all lips. I'm ok w/ thinner 💋
Thank you for sharing Karen!
I think with this, less is more. Too many women go too far with it. Subtlety is key. Save half of it for the "other lips". Lol 😋

I'm getting my lips done for the first time this Saturday and have been binge watching your videos since this morning. I'm so excited!
How exciting! Keep us posted on how they turn out!

No plans to get filler but I would say my lips are medium but really cool video! Educational!

I had lip filler Kyss and it only lasted 3 months. I loved it and it wasn’t overdone but I can’t afford to do this every 3 months.

Would you say it’s important to wait for the lips to ‘loosen’ before getting re-treated with filler? X
Sounds like it's important
