You should give the ASICS Noosa Tri shoe line a try. They are a really great non plated sort of workout shoe for me. I’ve run in the 14 and 15. Can’t speak on the 16
For long run workouts I’ve mostly used my old pair of Alphafly OG’s. They are surprisingly durable 😂 For faster workouts I’ve been using the Adidas Takumi Sen (still have the 8’s) a lot for longer workouts and the Nike Streakfly for shorter workouts (often on the track). Every once in a while I throw in the Endorphin Pro 3, but the upper of that shoe is in rough shape already (about 300 km): ripping clean off the sole 😱
I love Endorphin Pro 3’s too but also have problems with the upper. I wear holes in it after 120km or so and it really limits their use. I know they have to be light for racing but it’s almost as if the upper is made from tissue paper!
MY big toe and next toe got hammerd in the manchester marathon's 22 & 23 with the puma velocity elites(1&2) .. shoe really worked for me but toes would be a bloody mess due to tightness .. bunching. So I am glad that relaxing the laces in the speed 4 resolved the issue.
Try the Puma Deviate Nitro 3 and the Elite 3, I’ve heard great things about the elite 3 and I’m curious to see your opinion. Also will we be getting an update on the Puma Velocity 3? I see you haven’t used them much so are you planning on running with them more?
I think I’m getting Hoka Mach 6 because the good results you’ve had with them. I’ve always wanted to try a pair of Hoka running shoes. Now that the Superblast 2 is release now I can’t decide between them and Hyperion Max2 for my dedicated long runs shoes.
Top long run shoes are my Triumph 21’s. I’ve clocked up 350miles in them and they still feel comfy, although I have a small tear in the upper. Starting to consider a replacement to pick up at the end of the summer T22, Ride 17, Ghost max, Novablast 4, Deviate Nitro 2 - the choice seems 🤯
Currently shoes to look into are Brooks Hyperion Max 2, ASICS Superblast 2 (if they do your size), TYR Valkrie Speedworks and Valkrie Elite Carbon (these are very similar to old Endorphin Speed and Pro but lower drop) and from new entry Mount to Coast S1 and R1 and of course PUMA Deviate Nitro 3 and Deviate Nitro Elite 3 Mount to Coast is sending test shoes to UK reviewers as far as I can see even though they are not selling in UK atm. They probably could send you a pair of each of their shoes if you request them.
Great shoe video Andy. I love the adios pro 3, it's a great long run and big session shoe for protecting the legs. 5 or 6 years ago the Kinrara was my racing shoe upto 10k. How does the hoka mach 6 come up sizing wise? I have quite a wide foot
I’m a little Leary of the Hyperion Max 2. It seems like they’re messing too much with a good thing with the added nylon plate and 40ish grams of added weight. However…the Hyperion 2 (non-max) might be softening up and turning into something more akin to the original Hyperion Max. If so, that would be a good side-step upgrade for a cheaper price.
@@JackD87 Nope. French guy with an English wife. Always used metric when in Europe and always used imperial while in England. Come on guys you chose to leave the EU so stick with imperial !!!!
I tried all these sh#ty brands before and wasted over 3000 and got few injuries too, but for the past year I have been using ASICS running shoes and they are the best of the best and I don't feel running in any other shoes other than ASICS and my feet and legs are in love with ASICS ❤
Excited for the hyperian max 2

Kinvara 14 is really really good :), 230km already. For long runs I tend to use my last year Puma Deviate Nitro 2 the most.

I absolutely love the speed 4
Havent tested the Mizuno Neo Vista! You should have waited to release this video until you did!
They don’t do my size sadly, same as many other brands!
Hyperion max 2
Novablast 4 💪
Any shoe that gives blisters should be totally out... No?
Depends… sometimes it comes down to the lacing of the shoe, in which case it did… once I relaced it was fine 🤝
Hi everyone. ¡¡¡¡¡Kinvara 14 for ever!!!!. Like to Andy. Cheers.
I know you've said don't say NB Rebel v4 but....😂
😂
Make up your mind England !!! Imperial or metric ??? All english youtubers mix both up and it's messy....
It’s what we do 😂
🤣🤣🤣
It's no problem.
Presuming you’re American and do metres into miles? 👀👀
