Our airbox Racing adopts a technology derived from the GP taking advantage of all available space within the engine compartment and by using the lower part of the fuel tank as closing to increase the volumetric capacity of which becomes 9.5 lt against 6.2 lt of the standard component ( + 53%).
The air intake (Snorkel) is positioned in the front to be able to suck a greater amount of air and with less turbulence than the positioning adopted in origin. In the rear area, in fact, a vacuum is created by aerodynamic effect, making more difficult the aspiration of air.
Its shape also was designed using the calculation FEM (Finite Element Method) to minimize the load losses and therefore increase performance throughout the period of use.
The kit including a bulkhead to be mounted close to the air intake to prevent suction of hot air.
All this is mainly reflected in an increase in engine performance (in the image gallery you can see the comparison chart found at the dynamometer):

Better throttle response
Major extension (+ 500 rpm)
Additionally you obtain a weight reduction of about 50% (465 grams compared to 970 grams of series part).
Better steady carburetion
A "sound" from real Gp
Improved access for maintenance
Air filter in washable sponge cut with laser
Support sponge made with laser cutting and optimized to have a greater open surface
The kit is ready for assembly
Weather resistant and it does not need maintenance
This component is designed for competition use and therefore is not approved for road use

con quel air box il serbatoio rimane alzato, costa un patrimonio, poi non si fa così al volo il lavoro! ora passa più aria e va ricarburata e non è facile anzi è un casino;
lo stesso lavoro si può fare all'originale, si porta da un preparatore lo allarga e dopo anche qui va ricarburata!
Non rimane alzato il serbatoio. Il montaggio è piuttosto semplice, come si evince dal video. Se hai bisogno di aiuto, noi siamo sempre disponibili e presenti.
Come ogni componente che influisce sulla parte motoristica (scarichi, teste, lamelle, ecc.) , è sempre necessaria una messa a punto della carburazione per ottenere le prestazioni ottimali.
My kit did not include the piece that screws on to the gas tank....

The piece under the tank was added in 2017 to make assembly easier for those who do not have much mechanical skills.
It is not necessary, so you can proceed smoothly with the assembly ;)

Please what hp/gas flow bennifits from this airpox conversation without carb mods, and power increase, I have 2000 mk2 RS and tuned by April Moto GP team in conjunction with the arrow exhaust development on the arrow 2000 edition expansion chambours.

Depending on the level of engine processing, different power increases can be achieved.
The tuning of the carburetors also depends on this.
On a standard engine you can get about 3 hp of maximum power, but it also improves responsiveness at medium revs and an extension greater than 500 rpm.
On the standard engine it is sufficient to increase only the main jets to 310/320, but it depends on the environmental conditions (atmospheric pressure and humidity).

Dipende dalla configurazione del motore e della sua messa a punto.
In media circa 3cv, ma migliora molto la curva di coppia e la risposta all'apertura del gas.
Anche in allungo ci sono 500 giri utili in più.
Magari farlo scaldare un pó prima di accelerare in quel modo 🤦♂️
