@@bethbrady8146 it a very important tool to learn coloring, isn’t it? I watch more TH-cam then TV. I like to see how other people color and I wanted to spread some love. 💕 thank you for watching!
Love your haul. I love manga and anime, I've started coloring my pictures with a base with marker, then I take colored pencil over it. I just am new to coloring.
I just discoverd the "mention tab" in my TH-cam Studio, oops 🙈 So I didn't know that you mentioned me here, thank you for that! ❤ It's a great haul! I enjoyed watching your video. And I'm jealous of all the new shiny things you bought! 🤩
@@HappyCatastrophy yes the covers are completely different. The mandala book from Melpomeni is yellow in the Dutch edition and the cover is with bees. 🐝 I adore that cover. Thanks for watching.
I enjoyed your haul. Regarding the pastel applicator tips I have the name brand ones and use them over and over. I have one for greens one for blues etc. I even washed one just to see and it cleaned well using gentle dish soap.
@@diamondslashranch then I am definitely going to buy the real tips from Pan pastels themselves. Mine are not good at all. Thank you for letting me know!
Great video! I wanted to try the Paul Rubens oil pastels but after seeing how they're leaking oil and melting I probably won't get. I have the mungyo gallery ones and they're really good, haven't melted or anything even though I'm from Egypt and the weather is really hot in the summer but they're still in great shape.
Yeah, it's quite annoying how oily they are. They work wonderfully though. But maybe there is a better alternative. Don't buy the FC oil pastels. They aren't good. 😀 Thank you for watching!
Some supplies are just not suitable for coloring. Oil pastels do not dry.. ever. They should be allowed to "off gas" in open air for a few weeks and then framed in shadow box frames or double or triple matted. There are special oil pastel fixatives you can try but they take up to five layers of product and are known to change the color of the pastel or paper or both. I'd rehome them unless you want to create framed work.
@@waymire01 I used it for a coloring page this month and it was a struggle. But it’s easy for big backgrounds. So I am undecided what to do with them 🤭 thank you for watching
I don't see why you couldn't put neocolors into a standard zip pencil case. Maybe just test in one that you already own to make sure they fit. I put everything I possibly can in those zip cases lol.. I love them. Keeps everything safe and secure.
@@waymire01 I don’t like zip cases for markers or Neocolor II’s. I tried it before but my case wasn’t very clean after a while because of the wax. And it’s a smaller container that fits in my drawer. It’s very hard to be in my head 😜 I saw doodle robot put them in a water paint storage container and they fitted perfectly. Maybe an option? I swatched them out anyway so I definitely can just search in my box I have right now.
@@bubbleofcoloring Good to know. I've only got a few so a little crayon storage box works fine but I will have to find a portable, compact option, yet something that keeps them in order if I buy the full set. I color in bed and can't have the full tin spread all over... and can't stand digging in a box trying to find the thing I'm looking for. All my items have to be in color family order with their corresponding swatch sheet.. my head is a weird place too lol. I will check out a few of Doodle's videos and see if I can figure out the storage container you mentioned.
thank you!! I am so glad I found your channel!!! I have learned so much from you tube and the people who give their time!! Beautiful!!
