Excellent work! This is exactly the video I needed for troubleshooting my cart. Fortunately mine died in my driveway, rather than 8-1/2 holes in! Big thanks for showing where things are, too often videos have the parts on a bench, or only show zoomed shots and you don't know what part of the cart you're looking at.

Why can’t everybody make how to videos that explain things this well? Good Job!

Thanks so much for the video. I’ve watched countless videos and not one explained it to where I could understand.

Thank you!! Through your steps, I was able to track it down to a faulty solenoid

Working on my G22 with an intermittent no crank. Helpful, thanks for your time. I'm pretty sure I'm going to find a bad connection somewhere. I already found a mouse nest in the box with the solenoid and had to replace a chewed wire.

FYI Your cart has a neutral, put shifter between R and D and it won't run away from you. Nice video!

I had a problem with my 2011 Yamaha gas cart. Thought it solenoid or battery. Battery was old anyway 5-6 yrs. New Battery, helped some. But after checking. Found it highly possible the gas pedal solenoid switch was hanging up and not kicking in on the solenoid . Before I spend $$ on switch I removed and rolled back the rubber boot and sprayed blaster and worked the switch for about 10 times. While I was working on that I also adjusted the gas cable there at the pedal about 2 rounds. To give a little quicker response when pressing the pedal. Tightened it up and replaced the stop switch. Everything at this point seems to be running much better. If the switch starts to hesitate again, I'll purchase a new one at that time. The gas pedal switch is exposed to the dust and dirt under the floor board. don't forget that if cart is not staring when pressing the pedal. listen for the solenoid to click. If no clicks or intermediate clicks, ck the pedal switch, too.

I had the same problem. Battery voltage, solenoid checked out as did power to the starter. But I wasn't getting anything. Not even a click from the solenoid. As I was testing the solenoid, I moved the ground from the battery to the starter and heard my solenoid click. My issue was the ground wire from the battery to the starter.

When you say “didn’t go” … does that mean you pushed on the gas and the belt turned but you just didn’t feel like there was enough power to move your cart?
