In this captivating architectural masterpiece, every tree was honored, and the habitat enriched as the house floats delicately over the jungle canopy, capturing breathtaking views of both the ocean and sunset.
Designed with contemplative moments in mind, the main living areas and master bedroom invite you to immerse yourself in the jungle's embrace, while meticulously framed views ensure a constant connection to nature.
Collaboration between Saxe Architecture and Saxe Interiors resulted in a design ethos that celebrates local craftsmanship and materials, from burnt wood to hand-made hydraulic tiles, creating a sense of wholeness inspired by the surrounding nature.
Sustainability lies at the heart of this retreat, with bioclimatic principles guiding its design. A dramatic roof "umbrella" encapsulates the living space, creating an ecosystem between the structure and the jungle, while solar panels and water recycling systems ensure minimal environmental impact.
