This video showcases a stunning contemporary house nestled in the heart of Nosara, Costa Rica. Designed for Canadian clients seeking a tropical escape, the house prioritizes a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living while respecting the existing natural beauty.
The seasonal creek and wildlife on the property became the central focus. The house is positioned to maximize these views, with the entrance strategically placed to reveal the creek vista upon entering. Bedrooms offer direct access to gardens or breathtaking views of the tree canopy and wildlife. The design incorporates sustainable elements like strategically placed sunshades, planter boxes for natural cooling, and a water capture and reuse system. Local materials and craftsmanship are evident throughout, with bleached teak ceilings and floors and locally-made furniture complementing the modern design.
