Good tip! I do something super similar using custom tech deck 32mm trucks and M1.6 sized screws. I put some super glue gel into the baseplate and it kinda does the same thing. Surprisingly does not completely glue the “inverted kingpin” and instead creates threads since the baseplate hole doesn’t fit exactly right.
I can’t do loose trucks I love the tight trucks I been fingerboarding for 25 years since Techdeck had them orange bushings & the trucks were tight I have used the new ones they have & how they are looser but I end up switching em out so I can have tight trucks I feel it’s a ocd thing
