The roundness 'tapering off the end' of blackriver trucks and dynamics (also Ys) do help with rotation but they also prevent bearing slip. If you use techdeck trucks with non bearing locked wheels, the bearing will slip out of place or sometimes even fall out the wheels.

Well generally manufacturing things really tiny or really massive costs more to make than the normal size.
That’s why back before the iPhone, super small cellphones were always more expensive. It’s just hard to make things small.

Im big chillin with a tech deck and foam grip also i took the metal spacers out to make them looser and best fingerboard ive had yet

Tech deck for the win. Just sand the bevel at the ends of the hangers. You'll get the room for the wheels. Also, I've had tech deck trucks that exceed 32mm.

Just as a quick add on to the baseplate Issue on BRTs and the pricepoint: I am a bit of a collector and switch setups constantly. I have 9 Sets of BRTs, some of them I've had for 4+ years and I never had a baseplate strip on me. They probably have been taken off and on more than 20 times on some sets. I'm quite gentle when putting them on. I know a guy who basically can't put them on without stripping them immediatly (now his wife has to put them on for him). And the Dynamic/BRT price point is only that in the States. Also when changing trucks, keep the Screws in the same place so that the top left screw from the nose truck goes into the same place on the new board. Otherwise the holes are easier to widen, thus strip.
Here in Europe you can get Dynamics on FBS for 42€ and BRTs for 50€

What's your opinion on keeping the spacers that are between the truck and bushing? Keep it on or off
I love my dynamic trucks I have had them for over 2 years now only a 1 pair of trucks and they have never done me wrong. Only complaint would be the skrew in kingpin because I live in 🇿🇦 SA shipping can be very expensive to get the kingpins here though dynamic does have a nut kingpin option now. Best best trucks ops

pro tip: cut off a piece of the rubber from those white apple headphones and use it as pivot cups for black river trucks. works like a charm and u can use them on other trucks too!

1)Black River, look like Independent Trucks in skateboarding. 2)Dynamic Trucks look like Venture and Tensor trucks, skateboarding. 3)Tech Deck trucks look like Thunder Trucks, skateboarding. If you want to style your fingerboard trucks to skateboarding trucks. I like the Tech Deck trucks because I've skated Thunder trucks for a while on my skateboard. Fingerboarding is fun :)

If you live in the UK I would highly recommend ordering some skull trucks as they are very very effective and they feel almost like Black river trucks they have a very similar feel and shape just obviously much cheaper

2kr trucks have pivot cups locknuts and a unique design they cost around 30$
there are also new china trucks that cost $10. they have rounded off hangars that look similar to brts. available at broken knuckles

I have the newer tech deck trucks on my main and its really not bad(Teak tuning complete with tech deck deck trucks a lock nuts)

How do you feel about Y Trucks? I've decided to get back into fingerboarding, but I sold my stuff about 4 years ago. I remember I LOVED my Y Trucks but had never tried BRTs or Dynamics. I'm seeing a lot of people say bad things about Y-trucks but I remember liking them back then.
