Mike had Brawling level 2 and could've picked where the damage went after his roll since he could attack everything. So, he should've been able to clear that room except for the Elder God, and then not been attacked because there was only 1 enemy.

Thank you guys! Great playthru! I got season 2 down this afternoon for 2episodes. Such a great game. This looks amazing! I love the way it wants you to go insane faster and just ramps up everything . I love the box! That blue is killer! I hope they have lots of Cthulhu stuff in the campaign since their isn’t an actual Cthulhu himself in the base box. But I will get it regardless, one of my favs!

This game looks awesome! Recently started playing Arkham Horror LCG with my wife and it has quickly become one of our favorite games. This game looks similar but with beautiful ugly massive minis!

Why do you not start on the first insanity slot ? The very first, like the furthest one to the left, as in season 1 and 2 ?
They mention quickly at 2:25 that they made some modifications to shorten the time, that was one of them. Not sure if it’s part of rules or house ruled.
They did it for time constraints.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if you can't take a stress because you are at Max don't you lose a health?
I am pretty sure you can’t take a wound when you have no more stress to take. You simply have no more stress to take.

Yes, if you can't take more stress, then you take a wound for every stress you take.
Ok yeah that’s what I thought - this game is brutal and wouldn’t let you get away so easily.
@@theoverzealouscollector8198 I think you need to clarify in your question whether you are discussing when this question occurs. Do you mean during an investigate phase or during a dice roll phase. The rules are different for each. I am saying from dice roll phase. I think you are asking from collecting items in investigative phase.
Debating if we want to back this, being a completionist we would want everything. Unfortunately the theme doesn't really do it for Adri she isn't into creepy, ugly things and has trypophobia.

I think they said at the beginning that they were altering a few things to shorten the game length.
Perhaps I'm misremembering (it's been years since I played), but doesn't resting heal stress first and only once you have no stress it heals health? If so, on his second turn Mike rested to heal health, then rested for stress but still had 1 stress left. After two rests he should have had no stress but still 1 damage.
Unless those rules have changed in season 3.
In Season 1/2 you can heal any Combination of Stress/Dmg. for some characters its better to have some stress or dmg for their specials or items

I was VERY close to backing this kickstarter and then it hit me, "why does $100 base game not have enough replayability that conventional wisdom is you *should* buy another Elder god or Season?" I'm never going to support this business practice.
Zero interest in a game where half the content was KSE….
In my experience base retail boxes for virtually every CMON game is more than enough.
@@synnical77 Marvel United would be an exception, imo.
