Snagged a LR RWD inventory non-demo with $3,600 discount, added referral and military. Did a purchase instead of a lease, price (including the fees left out in the video - $1390 dest. and $250 order fee) $34,030. I was not in the market for a car, but this was too good to pass up. What was original purchase? I think you would get allot more private party as everything under the 25k limit for the 4k used EV credit gets snatched up. I personally think your tesla would sell quick for 23k right now.
I know still 4k under but allot better than 10k under which I would think gap would just compare between market and loan not trade in and loan. So not sure if your gap ins is worth a smaller gap?… Can’t speak for you of course but I would get some more stats on what the tesla is worth.

For those quoted lease payments it doesn't look like you are adding "taxes and fees" which would increase the payment, also for the $2,999 down payment example the actual "total drive off" payment is thousands more than the $2,999 due to taxes and fees

Not sure if you know this and new to car shopping, but absolutely no manufacturer advertises price including tax and fees bc that obviously varies based on location. The figures before taxes and fees is how you should compare prices to other cars. When you see a 0 down lease deal somewhere, you still have to pay approximately a couple grand. Happy to help.

I went on the Tesla website and looked at Model Y leases. $3,000 down, $258/month for 36 months, 10,000 miles per year allowance. This sounds very tempting, if I were in the market for a Tesla (or any car) right now. My main issue with buying a Tesla, BTW, is that I can't see the actual vehicle I'm buying before making a deal. I also received the instant $7,500 Federal Tax Credit, a $500 Referral Discount from my neighbor, plus my $1,000 Military Discount. It is Stealth Grey. It has the White Interior (which I wanted). There were two available in my area at the time and I opted for the one that had no tow bar, as it was $1,000 cheaper and I will not be using this vehicle for towing anything anyway. I took the offer of0% financing for 60 months as I’ll keep the money invested and give it to them slowly (a no-brainer). Purchased on October 26th and picked up 30 October in Dublin, CA, not too far from the Fremont Factory, where it was built just the month before!
I feel like I just had to take advantage of this deal or else I would’ve regretted it later. Hit one month of FSD and 1 month free premium Connectivity also.
Enjoy your new MYP! I have less than 300 miles on mine now, as I don’t live far from work , and have driven one of my other vehicles the last few rainy days. Oh, forgot to mention the icing on the cake. My absolutely awesome neighbor bought me the Tesla Wall Connector with the credits he received from giving me the referral! I’ll be getting him a nice jersey of his favorite college football team as a thank you gift, although he didn’t ask for a thing!

Good afternoon. I had a question for your viewers. Has anyone had to replace their air conditioner compressor? It cost me over $3000 to have it fixed. When the compressor ‘blew up’the service center states that it also ruins the manifold as well as air conditioner lines requiring a complete redo of the air conditioner system? Seems crazy that everything had to be replaced due to the compressor ‘Grenading’ according to the service center? I can see being responsible to pay for the compressor, but not for the complete system if this was a faulty design.

    Dear Tesla bro,
I am a Tesla owner since 5 years. Now I have a Model y 2021(coming from austian market , made in Shanghai)
Now my Y has 160 km and never had any problem. But now I have . Few weeks ago there was a popping up message about adaptive headlight feature are not available, and cruise control is not available and off course( but is not warning!!!!) autopilot and all emergency brake lane assistance etc…. Nothing works… I fell like in my very old and gentle vw.. no sounds off course and faster “a bit”.
So I turned to the Tesla Hungary about help. After a week I drove into the service and ask them what’s up. A young guy told me standing behind the desk in a Tesla cap looking strongly his monitor and said: it’s gonna be about 2100 Eur and we have to replace the CAR COMPUTER. I was shocked and asked him why is it needed when my car is working exept the few functions, why not repair it? Answer: a Mercedes or a Vw counts you more just a main motor component ( not lookng at me just the monitor)
Off course I wanted to talk with the manager who off course wasn’t available, and a small boss came out and did not give me any human gesture.
My question is:1 they remove it ftom my car,if they, and where is going to be composted?
2 . If it is the world best software company , making vehicle why don’t repair it by software,or they should have said it is a hardware damage and incorrect able.must be replaced, by the time look into my face and explain it in human way. You know that you’re the one from millions having this issue.
What do you think of this ?
Currently I have turned to Vienna service , now they are examining my case.
Have you ever heard such a thing happen in your surroundings?
    Waiting for your reply

@IchabodDeere Go back to last winter in Chicago as an example. The media went CRAZY because Tesla's were bricked at a supercharge and were leaving 'dozens' of people 'stranded' when their cars would not charge. Turns out, MOST of the vehicles were ride share/UBER and food delivery people trying to charge the vehicle first thing in the morning when their battery was as cold as a brick. Preconditioning doesn't help (much) when it can only precondition for 5 minutes before they plug in. MOST of the people lived in apartment complexes and did not/could not charge overnight and they were not ecucated on charging at the end of their shift when the battery was warm. That is what I mean by educating the UBER/ride share/ food delivery folks.

2019 Model 3 with 326 mile range cars now charge only up to 270 miles. we charge 80% only so effectively these cars will become local use only after 5 or 6 years. Cold weather even worse. Perfect second car. Can never be the primary car if you go on a frequent long trips. Initially, I was OK with planned trips but it is getting annoying. My model 3 needs tire replacement every 2 years (around 25 to 28k Miles) and that runs for 1250 to 1500/-. So it is not completely maintenance free. After 6 years, tires alone would have costed 5k to 6K.
