Troubleshooting Wagner Airless Paint Sprayer

I love spraying paint on houses. Here in this video on using the Wagner Pro Spray 3.21 Airless spray gun. Once all the preparations were done and we were ready to spray, when I switched the pun to prime I didn't get any change in the machine. As well the house was not filling with pressure. I knew something was wrong so I googled "Wagner Airless Spray Gun not priming. The first result was a video by West Spray Airless which told me how to fix it and sure enough I was painting in no time.

Hi you need to adjust the pump pressure or tip or viscosity of the paint to improve your spray pattern.

Hello. Congratulations about your videos. Let me explain to you my problem. I'm using wagner 250 Pro. When I spray outside walls with acrylic elastic paint the pattern is with tails both sides. This doesn't happen when I use emulsion paint for inside. Is about viscosity or about its different paint. Thank you

Hi Max, have you used this spray gun more often since? How do you rate it? I do insurance like you down in Central Coast NSW, and think this gun might help with spraying cornices.

Hi Mark, yeah i dont use it as often as i should. Its really fast, as long as you have a good spot to clean it out. I rate it highly. great for all sorts of things, it sprays very evenly and consistent. If you do get it let me know what you think. Thanks for watching man

I think your spray tip is blown out or your pressure is wrong the massive tailing in your spray pattern it shouldn't really be there not criticising just looking you will get lap lines everywhere for future reference

Thats what I noticed, massive lap line... For UC, you may get away with it, being a flat paint, but LS or SG paint, you're asking for trouble.
BTW, wtf is the point to spray your house when a guy is rolling after you???
Set your machine up right, match the tip to the viscosity and type of paint, and you never need to roll. You just went from a smooth spray finish to orange peel roller..

this happens due to lack of pressure for the tip used , its called Tailing, in increase in pressure solves this issue , but also uses more paint and can get a lil untidy , the idea here is to lower the tip size and get the pressure right ,

Quick question...Roller brush after spray.. Is it necessary? If yes then why?

Yes! Back roll after spraying. Gives an even finish and can be touched up better than if just sprayed.
