I have a 2006 Prius, I noticed that this small arm is broken it goes from the cross been to an electrical connection . Can you please tell me what it is and the name to order it and replace it. Thanks. I enjoy your videos

Is it normal Steven for it to be in good condition if when moving it side to side with crowbar and makes slight squeak, I had two ppl look at it and tell me it's good, a little play when move up and down but told it's supposed to.

There is supposed to be a little play. Especially with using a crowbar. Slight squeak isn’t a big deal as long as the rubber isn’t falling apart.

Did this end up fixing your engagement lurching noticeable while the car was running? Thanks for the video.

It definitely made a difference. From what iv seen with the 2nd gen as miles rack up it gets more noticeable and doing the mounts does help but it’ll still feel more harsh than it should in my opinion. Lot less jerky now though

The lurching your feeling is normal and not a consequence of the suspensions mounts or any other faulty componenet.
Due to how the Prius transmission works using a Planetary gearset and MG1 to set the Torque of the engine being applied to the wheels... lurching is normal when the Prius engages MG1 to charge the Hybrid Battery and sometimes when the engine starts cold.
The Hybrid Battery applies power to the MG1 electromagnets to hold the MG1 gear in place when the engine is running. The engine then overcomes the force holding the MG1 gear in place and it begins to spin the gear/electromagents... this puts charge into the Hybrid Battery.
What you're feeling when the car lurches... is actually a slight amount of power being delivered to the wheels. This happens because when the engine intially has to overcome the electromagneticforce holding MG1 gear in place... it puts a small amount of power into the wheels via the MG2 gear at the moment this happens.. so the Prius will "lurch" slightly.

Can this feel like the engine is missing when indeed it is not?

Is there any jacking up to change the part or do you jack just to get under the car?
