- Vince McMahon's World Wrestling Entertainment has agreed to merge with UFC to form a new publicly traded company controlled by Endeavor Group , the companies announced Monday morning.

Vince over Dana is exactly how it should be. As lesnar also said once, vince is much wiser and a better promoter than Dana. Mad respect to vince for always taking bold decisions and proving them right. Always looking ahead like no one else. Absolute pioneer. Thank you so much for all the memories. I will always aspire to be a visionary like him.
Dana had more of an uphill struggle. MMA was literally on the verge of getting banned when he took over the UFC.
He basically salvaged the sport and turned it into what it is today.
Unlike WWE, Dana can't control match outcomes, so it takes a more flexible and adaptable leader to thrive in combat sports. You cant manufacture a super star in MMA like you can in pro wrestling.
Especially in a sport like MMA where unlike boxing promoters- they don't shield good prospects or Champs from tough fights.

They're preparing for the collapse of cable television. It was genius for Vince considering they still own the rights to the WWE network, you rebrand that App which worked 10 times better than the ESPN App. You have both in one place and no longer need to rely on television rights as much.

That reputation makes him a valuable asset, in spite of disagreeable creative directions as of the past decade or more.
