So it’s not happening at Wrestlemania 40. He wants the long build. You also have to take in consideration that it might take him a year to get ring ready so he doesn’t injure himself and ruin any films he may be filming for. Maybe Wrestlemania 41. It could be a John Cena vs The Rock type build. Rock can prevent Bloodline interference and allows for Cody to beat Roman for the belt and Rock can raise Cody’s arm in victory. Rock and Roman can set up their dream match for Mania 41 the Raw or Smackdown after Mania.
It's interesting Shannon brought up if he could have been a pro wrestler. He was perfect actually. He can talk, has the personality, and has the physical attributes. He would have been a superstar. Also, Stephen A would make an incredible WWF heel manager. Just look at those promos he does making fun of the Cowboys and the fanbase.

Everybody's trying to figure out how The Rock vs Roman at Wrestlemania is going to happen with Cody Rhodes but I suspect The Rock vs Roman Reigns is going to happen at 2025's Wrestlemania with Cody vs Roman happening this year which makes sense.
He needs more than the few months we have before WM to get into shape. The Rock preventing Bloodline interference leading to Cody’s win and setting up a feud with Roman is the way to go.
So basically Stephen A is going to "play " a bad guy manager to manage the Rock in Wrestlemania where this year is in Philadelphia where he's from...maybe this was written several months ago. @@iamYANYEZ Except it wasn't becuase he also noted all the expenses you had to pay. They had to pay for taxesa, health insurance, hotels, food, and transit. That money evaporated very quickly and you didn't have much money after paying for all that.
Steven A Smith would be a good promoter and manager. He has the ability to bring heat to himself. Which is seen as a good thing in wrestling. The Rock said to Cena once. A lot of people hate him but dont know that during his WWE career. He was very kind to his fellow wrestlers in the Locker room with some of them being bullies. The Undertaker, Rock and Stone Cold was the savior of WWF/E. During the attitude era these 3 carried the company past WCW and came out victorious. These 3 paved the future for WWE. Vincent understands this and these 3 will forever be in shrined. Rock earned the rights to his name.

@@weswith360syou didn’t get the point. Hogan is most definitely more iconic than Reigns but Reigns vs Rock is an entire piece of family history dating back to Roman’s birth. Storytelling at its finest.
The Rock winning the title one more time and the family history of this match would be something we may not see again for decades. Because it takes that long to build. I’m watching again at 40 years old because of this potential match up.
Although I love the Rock’s greatness, I honestly can’t see him as a champion again. Being a champion means the responsibility of being the face of the Company and being able to handle all the pressure and workload it brings, constantly wrestling to defend the title. And, even though Roman is not wrestling full time and still is champion, I don’t see Rock doing the same thing because all of his other commitments outside WWE. If he were to beat Roman for the championship assuming that’s the WWE’s go-to plan, he would be a transitional champion at best like he did with John Cena in the last Wrestlemania he fought. In my opinion, the best way to open and close the story is that Rock interferes in the Royal Rumble match where Roman will defend in the Fatal-4 Way, making him lose the championship. That way, the focus of the Mania match could be completely centered in their Samoan lineage, Head of the Table and best of the family.
I honestly don't want to see Rock vs Roman Reigns at WM. It means that Roman will definitely win and will keep the title for another year. No one wants that result.
Do they really need The Rock to win a World Championship when no Family has won more Championships than The The Maiavia-Johnson-Anoai Family? They are all with us still and they are the only faction to my recollection that each core member got bigger after the faction disbanded by reinventing/evolving. themselves.
One could dream. 😎
Yea Farooq made history, being the first black pro wrestler to ever become champion when he beat Vader in WCW. That was awesome 💐
Does that mean he's Corporate Rock again? 😂
Stephen as a Manager would be dangerous. Before his clients matches you have him giving debates on their opponents previous performance performance. It would be Gold
That was awesome!!!! Awesome news from The Rock!!! I bet it's great to be him right now. It's also awesome to be a fan of him and a WWE fan too!!!!! I would love to see him challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania!!!! That would match could very well be the greatest match in WrestleMania history!!!
The rock vs Roman regins at wrestlemania 41 would be legendary 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wrestlemania 40 🔥
Actually it’s Wrestlemaina 40 u didn’t pay attention
@@AKmohanrajj1*41
Nah man it’s going to be a triple threat
the rocks not waiting another entire year to wrestle his relative guy in a dream match
I feel like wrestling is making a comeback. It’s actually very good right now, hopefully people give it a chance
But its fake
The Rock can call audibles in matches!! The Rock is on the board of directors, he's yet outdone HHH again!!
Hardly. HHH heads up a multi billion dollar entity. Rock is a figure head.
@@chriskay1449dummy the rock was the HIGHEST PAID actor a few years ago. Triple H does not have actor money. Lol the rock has money from movies
Everything is not a competition they are both doing great In life.
give cody his match back

Molly killin the vibe bro
I wanna see Nia Jax choke slam Molly lol

The Rock just said his dad was making 120,000 dollars a year in the 70s and said that wasn't a lot. He literally has no idea what real life is.
Rock basically just confirmed he's doing Mania. He just can't ACTUALLY say because the Rumble is in 4 days.
Got a feeling I haven’t felt for a long time about wrestling I think we are going to get a second peak in the next few years like how it used to be
Imagine shannon sharpe taking out Paul Heyman with a chair fr😂😂 man I would start crying
This isn’t your time, Dwayne.
We want Cody.
its his job
no one wants to watch jobbers in wrestlemania
Lol Shannon was ready to go when SA said he’d be his body guard
who here after the rock vs roman reigns is confirmed for wrestlemania
$120,000 in the 60s and 70s is the equivalent of a making a million a year. That’s pretty good money for the average American citizen
Yea but wrestlers had to pay for their own hotels, food, flights and any other expense that came with the job. They made good money but also spent most of it making it
Yeah, this comment was insanely out of touch by The Rock hahaha.
Way out of touch. Was about to say the exact same. Glad someone beat me to it haha
No wrestler was making that money in 60's. He meant to say between 10 to 20,000😂😂😂😂
@@iamYANYEZ Except it wasn't becuase he also noted all the expenses you had to pay.
That you know that you made it when your being booed. Its great that people outside of the knowledge of what goes behind the scenes know that The Rock is a genuine nice guy. A lot of people hate him but dont know that during his WWE career. He was very kind to his fellow wrestlers in the Locker room with some of them being bullies. Totally different than his Rock persona in a good way.
Shay Shay, Steven A, and the Rock with Molly bringing it together, good story line and awesome wrestlemania!!!
Well said Shannon. Great segment guys.
The Rock Is Truly A Legendary Icon Of The World!!🔥🐐🐐💎
Shannon with the backhanded “compliment” 😂
Was such a huge fan of The Rock that I grew my sideburns like him at the age of 17. Now at 41, we have the same haircut due to male pattern baldness.

They should have more WWE takes on espn to grow the sport
The only problem is majority of the population who don’t like WWE call it super fake so they won’t bring superstars or talk about it 24/7
they would only talk about the rock and cena
@@edwardjones1482they say it’s fake because they don’t watch it and understand the entertainment of it.
We want Cody Rhodes
The Undertaker, Rock and Stone Cold was the savior of WWF/E. During the attitude era these 3 carried the company past WCW and came out victorious. These 3 paved the future for WWE. Vincent understands this and these 3 will forever be in shrined. Rock earned the rights to his name.
And Triple H
John Cena, Randy Orton, and Batista too
@@russenterprise6502 I understand those guys as well but the big 3 were the powerhouses. I mean no disrespect by leaving them off my list - this is just my list after all lol
@PeterTeehan: Yeah, The Rock, Steve Austin, Undertaker & Triple H ran that Attitude era & it was amazing! Sidenote: John Cena, Randy Orton, Batista were part of the Ruthless Aggression era more so than the attitude era which was 1997-2002, while ruthless aggression was 2002-2008 So those guys were more after they changed their name to WWE from WWF. All legendary wrestlers though
Stephen A in WWE as a manager is actually a great idea
The Rock is very cool I was a fan of his dad back in the day. My dad and I use to watch Rocky Johnson on good ole KCOP Ch13
We’re definitely getting Roman rock at WrestleMania but him saying “long game” I see potentially they’ll use a year to set it up
Yes, he said at WrestleMania, not at this Wrestlemania, WrestleMania 41 would be perfect, and as big as that match everyone's saying it would be not only you would take a year to get it all set up like they do with John Cena and the Rock at WrestleMania 28, but also it would be the perfect time to do it with the whole Netflix deal going on, they don't need a waste a dream match that is so predictable, I need to have it where Roman is dethroned from Cody at Wrestlemania 40 and then they can set up the feud between Roman and The Rock to WrestleMania 41, that is best for business.
I Freakin love The Rock and Stephen A they are two very f the most charismatic entertainers ever put on television imo
This guy Dewayne is every where at once hands down hardest worker I know 💯
Yeah getting that "the rock" trademark is huge. When he used that billing in movies vince got a portion of everything he made. Thats why he went to just dwayne Johnson for a long stretch
TKO will still get a portion of everything he makes. They didn't give it to him for free now.
Finally the Rock has become Triple H's boss 😂I wonder how Stephanie McMahon feels about this 😂😂😂
We need a First Take w/ Stephen A & Paul Heyman debating.
I want to thank the rock man he made my childhood one I never forget nothing like watching him especially on the microphone nobody funnier in their prime than the rock 🐐

Then clearly you didn't watch Rock vs Hogan to make a comment like this
@@weswith360she kind of has a point. Rock & Hogan was old school icon vs new school icon. Rock is now old school & Reigns is part of the new old school icons
@@weswith360syou didn’t get the point. Hogan is most definitely more iconic than Reigns but Reigns vs Rock is an entire piece of family history dating back to Roman’s birth. Storytelling at its finest.
Rock vs Hogan, Rock vs Cena, Rock vs Roman. ONE common man 🐐🪨
Please don't make silly comments like this
Currently rewatching attitude era man the rock so motivating
That doesn't even cover all The Regional Titles during The Wrestling Territory Era nor THe Championships Members of this Family have held outside of WWE. Oh did I mention there are Family Members working in other Professional Wrestling Promotions even as I type this?
Nope don't steal cody finishing his story
@@kubeanie18 he’s trash. He could go away AGAIN and no one will care.
