@@3dextrude I followed it along and created the material. It works quite well, I like it. As I was making it the AO maps were not doing much in my version, not sure why. at the end with a little deviation I managed to make them noticeable, so it was just .. I don't know, perhaps version change related small deviation? Regardless, it turned out good. This is how it looked in SP: i.imgur.com/nE2V8fa.png This was some quick blender render of a rock I previously made: i.imgur.com/5kel9Z2.png - I probably decimated it too much, but it's OK. In terms of the material I'm quite happy with it. I saw the "how to make it metal" addition, that's a bonus. If you want to add to it: suggestion: How to make it wood :D It's probably not hard, I just need more tools knowledge to work further (like SP knowledge) regarding how to face select paint and apply SD materials correctly etc.. I was thinking about buying other curses as well, but it's mostly about Maya that I don't know. but the material ones are a-OK I recommend them to everyone.
Awesome, great to hear it works. Yeah, I am actually thinking about maybe making a new version of the material, a 2.0 if you will. Though I am thinking about using Designer for it.
@@3dextrude If you make an update you can probably make it a mini series, 1 episode for stone, to show a few variations also (perhaps with a moss on top?) Ep 2 for metals, ep 3 for wood and fabric maybe. To be honest that 20m video in painter was just perfect, it showed me exactly what I needed. I'm a bit worried that expanding on it might complicate things and although I have Substance Designer as well, I think I'd be more happy to see similar videos in SP rather. SD for me was for ground textures and seamlessly repeatable tiles, not for models.. Regardless, it's up to you, you are the teacher. I'm sure you can make it well..
I would think it would be cool if you would do an asset in the Little Nightmares look. I like the style extremely and it's similar to yours. ^^ Have a look at Little Nightmares :D Ps: good video!
Going for a simple rock for this one!

Hi, I just wanted to ask, did you close holes after deleting hidden at 0:45?
I used dynamesh after that which automatically closes holes
@@3dextrude Got it, thank you!
About Zbrush. What do you think about ZbrushCore 2021? Is it enough to do most of the things that you do even though it is quite limited?
I haven't used it so can't say for sure, hopefully someone else who has used can answer that.
🐸 👍🏻 thanks 😊
😀
Hey ! Please tell me how to make this final scene where the subject is spinning? In which program is this done Thank you 😉
That's done with Marmoset Toolbag, it's as simple as adding a turntable to the model and playing it.
@@3dextrude thanks, I will understand))
3dEx hi! I had a doubt about how did you create the final render with movement. In what software?
Marmoset toolbag for the turntable render
I bought your stylized material video on gumroad. I'll ask if I have questions after / during watching it. :D
Cool, yeah let me know how it goes
