@@LiveFitWithRana your not required to hit your cap, if you do, you keep 100% of the commission remainder of the year. If you don’t hit it, it just resets back anyway the next year. Whatever deal you happen to close, you pay the 30% & 6% on. So it all just remains the same. I hope that helps answer.

Still not understanding the 100% commission part, so is the broker not getting paid after the cap!
Exactly. After the cap, broker no longer gets paid. They have a small $50 transaction fee on every deal after. That’s it
@ not even the franchise fee
@@striveforgreatness411 does that include the desk fee? So I wouldn’t be paying the KW fee or the franchise fee after my cap!
Great job explaining this ✨👍🏾✨🙌🏾✨💛✨😊

What if you don’t sell and can’t cap in that year? What happens?
Nothing happens you dont pay them a commission split unless you are closing
@@striveforgreatness411 well yes I know that lol. Thanks. But what I’m saying is what if you don’t sell enough to reach your cap in that year?

@@striveforgreatness411 it does make sense, thank you! I’m stuck between a couple companies. I’m also a new agent. Good luck to you!!

So the $9,600 is not your net, right? The gross, still, right? You're still having to pay taxes on the $9,600?
This is a LOT of money they are taking.
