People who enjoy playing that sport? I’m 19 and plan to play soccer the rest of my life and train in it cause 1 i love the sport and 2 cause it keeps me in great shape and gives me a workout plan to follow at the gym and motivation

Granted I play as a goalie (if that makes a difference) I developed shoulder arthritis, got a mild concussion, and kicked in the arm so hard I couldn't lift upper body for a week. This summer I decided to 'retire' at the young age of 24 to focus on lifting and staying injury free...lol.

First of all, mine was a joke. ;) Second, I live in France, but as far as everyone is telling, PF is a gym where they don't have barbells or squat racks because they are "intimidating" (only machines), you can't train there if you are "too fit", you can't wear tank tops and if you are grunting or lifting too heavy they will sound an alarm and eventually ask you to leave. And you are offered cake and pizza. :) It's basically a place where you go if you're not comfortable stading near people acting like proper bodybuilders or powerlifters, and just want to work out without a real goal, just for fun. There is nothing bad about, but if you are serious about your training you should probably go somewhere else.

First off, PF is like one of the cheapest gyms to go too, 10-15$ a month is damn cheap, which is probably why rookies go and they try to bring in more people that aren't gym religious retards who think lifting is the only way to succeed in life; to begin the path of lifting weights. So they are appealing to a certain crowd of people who have jobs, families, and lives to live, to bring in more profit for their business... Its a business guys, not a representation of a nation, and yes they have goals, to maybe idk try and get healthier? If it was to "have fun without a real goal" why the hell would they go in the first place.. Lol.
You guys should open up your minds up a little more, stop being so narrow minded, you won't get far in life with that mindset.

I've been going consistently for 5 weeks as of 4/14/17. Saw this new teen come with his mom from the homeschool program. It was kinda busy and he was doing some awful form so I helped and guided him to a bicep/tricep/shoulder superset on the cable.
He thanked me. But he doesn't know I had him use the cable first to keep it occupied until I was ready for it. 😂😂😂
