Just now found your channel---Liked and Subscribed! Thanks for your hard work---people who send nasty notes have deep internal PROBLEMS within their own troubled minds and souls---and instead of playing board games to distract themselves, they need to be doing healing work on themselves. Take good Care!

Hi, so I bought a gameboard at a yard sale , it was a fundraiser purchase from 1992. It's named after a small town in N.J. (pine hill) it's similar to monopoly, except all the squares are local town businesses that I suppose sponsored the fundraiser..some businesses still exist ,some don't. How can I get info or find out if any worth?? Thank you

I got a tornado rex years ago at a garage for my son when he was younger. The box is messed up some but game is in good shape. He actually brings it to board game night (he is 20 something) that his friends have occasionally just for fun. It's always a hit even for the 20 somethings.

I just sold the Strat-O-Matic Pro Football 1982 game this weekend for $125+ shipping. Sold in week. It was a bear to count all the pieces, but it was complete! I also picked up the Stratis Pro Baseball game and sold for $70 in a week. Picked up both for $1 each at a church sale

Great info! I want to get axis and allies. I got two obscure ones for ya. Maybe not worth much but some good old vintage fun. They are called Park and Shop and the other is called Manhunt. Park n shop was where u had a list of errands to run and the gameboard was a city. You drew cards and had to maneuver your piece around town and finish your errands before the other players. Sometimes you got dinged and had to lose a turn from a "flat tire" or had another errand added to your list. Simple but alot of fun bc you chose what route u would take. Manhunt was a detective game almost like clue but u had to actually collect evidence and process it in a crime lab. Whole lotta fun! And of course dont forget the war games that were sold in the back of comic books! I ordered and still have mine 30 yrs later! They were made by a company called Helen of Toy. They were small bookshelf games with alot of pieces like planes, ships, tanks, subs. They were so fun. Look those up on ebay! I think i paid about 7 or 8 bucks for mine. Ive seen em listed in the hundreds on ebay!🤯. Great post again. Thanks for the memories!

    Hi Don!
I think the most expensive game I sold was The Serial Killer Trivia Game. And another one I had which I don't recall the name was some agriculture board game that was only available to public schools. And now that I think of it I'm surprised Ebay don't pull the serial killer game off. They don't like that stuff. Lol
Thanks again for your time and knowledge!

I had no idea Axis & Allies 1914 was that valuable. Thank you for sparking my interest. The Anniversary, Guadalcanal and Battle of the Bulge editions are valuable, as well. But then there's versions of Axis & Allies that are worth about as much as the shipping cost.

Let us not forget the Barnabas Collins board game. It is hard to find especially with the vampire teeth.
One key to getting top dollar for games is showing that they work.
If it lights up, spins or whatever, show a short video and then the money will flow!

I've been a board gamer since forever. You should also bolo for Conquest of the Empire, Shogun and Broadsides( probably the hardest of those types of Milton Bradley games to find) . Original Avalon Hill and SPI games were mainly 2 player battle simulation games. I believe Mayfair games came out with upgrade reprints of some of their games. There are a lot of games that were popular in their day that did not have high print runs and are more fun than most games today.

When I first started flipping online it was board games. The only ones from your list that I had was the black Pokémon, hotels, and hero quest. No one that I knew of was flipping vintage board games and they were hot until 2015 then they tanked unless they were rare and obscure. Vintage wooden Risk used to fetch 50 easy. I even shipped them to aircraft carriers.

1st edition Space Hulk from 1989 is another good one... sells for $250-ish without expansions. The expansions are pricey, as well. Space Hulk was sort of based on the Aliens movie, so it is amusing that Leading Edge put out an Aliens game (board game, not the RPG that LE also did make) also in 1989 and that game is very pricey and collectible... in the $250-$300 range... the expansion is often even more!

Is there a web site that has list of board games and all pieces that were originally included so you can determine if a game is complete or missing pieces.

Crossbows and catapults is worth a lot now too. I had it as a kid and never used it as a game. It was fun to just build a castle and blow it up with the catapult

War of the Ring Collector's Edition... they go easily for over $3,000. It's not terribly vintage, though... it came out in 2010.

The Alien boardgame from 1979 in good shape usually sells for a couple hundred dollars, unopened would be close to $1000. Also Nuclear War with complete set of boster packs usually goes for $300-500.

Thx for the great information!!! Just a quick comment in the Star Wars game. The title of the listing said 1992 but that movie didn't come out till 1999.

It's called a mistake. It doesn't though change any aspect of it's value or anything else for that matter.

I bought a couple of monopoly games that have my city's name Sierra Vista and Bisbee on it from walmart in AZ. I thought it as a collectors piece. Not sure it is worth anything now, but maybe later.

Battle masters was a collab between MB and miniatures wargaming company Games Workshop (whose product is quite expensive). GW has strict rules at tournaments that all miniatures must be only GW product. When Battle Masters came out, GW declared the miniatures inside to be "official" GW miniatures.. So gamers bought up boxes and boxes of Battle Masters for cheap Orcs and Goblins, Empire mercs and Bretonian knights. Even a troll!

I frequently go to a donation center called Savers to check out the various board games people have brought in (and once found a Nintendo VirtualBoy in the box). To my agony, on one of my visits, as I approached the board game rack I passed a guy walking away from it holding a Hero Quest game under his arm. I was mere minutes away from the chance of buying it for about five bucks. Still makes me sick to my stomach...
