The most expensive toy from the 70s is ''DIVORCED BARBIE". The doll comes with Ken's house, Ken's car, and half of his bank account.

Lots of these toys I remember being from being born in the 1960s. I was in my prime as a kid when most of these things were coming out in the 70s. The Evil Knieval I had that when it came out here in the UK early 70s, when I sore that price I nearly dropped my cup of coffee. Star wars, Spiderman, Six Million Dollar Man we had but I don't remember the space probe at all. Those toys back then were better-made products than the made-in-China rubbish that drop to pieces these days. Thank you, Don. Charles in the UK

As a kid in the 70s I had a few of these toys. I remember the Jawa with the vinyl cape and the Darth Vader with that particular light Saber. I also had the Evil Kneivel stunt bike and the big godzilla as well as a whole bunch of the red line hot wheels cars. Back then we had no idea they would be worth anything in the future. We got them dirty and eventually they broke and got tossed out.

Thank you, Don. I still have the original 3 D&D manuals, but I only have the bottom half of the box, but as a bonus, I do have the chainmail booklet which was for large-scale battles. I guess I'll have to get around to listing it one of these days.

These are some great memories of toys I had as a kid. I grew up in the 70's and Mego's lineup of Superheroes action figures was one of my favorite toys. That and the Planet of the Apes. I did have what I thought were rare Mego Superheroes. I got them in the mail, they were exclusive mail-ins that included Kid Flash in a Yellow suit, Aqua-Lad, Wonder Girl, and Speedy if I remember correctly. Plus I had EVERY one of the Marvel and DC Superheroes as well. The Fantastic 4️⃣, 🕷🕸Spider-Man🕸🕷, the Green Goblin, the Lizard, the Hulk, Thor, Iron-Man, Captain America, the Falcon, Tarzan, Conan, 🦇🦇Batman🦇🦇, ®️®️Robin®️®️, Catwoman, the 🐧🐧Penguin🐧🐧, the 🃏🃏Joker🃏🃏, the ❓❓Riddler❓❓, Superman, Aquaman, Mr.Myxlplkk(however you spell that name?), Wonder-Woman, and the others I'm forgetting. Also the Planet of the Apes action figures as well & some of the playsets. As a kid I had two main toy loves. Hot Wheels and Matchbox/Lesney/Corgi Jr's., and Mego Superheroes action figures. Until I hit 8-10 years old,and Star Wars figures were soon on the way I was really only into those figures. Later I got into AFX/Tyco Slot car racing 🏎🏁🏎 as well as Sizzlers too. But my biggest love was always the action figures and I really really wish that they didn't get tossed around, lost, stolen, or thrown out. I had some really cool items. I don't sell my collectibles. I started re-collecting action figures with Toy Biz, mid 2000's as well as Star Wars figures in many different years. It's amazing and SAD to look back and see the wonderful memories, childhood toys and adventures, but extremely sad and very painful to see those same items worth a lot of money and your were tossed aside. That hurts!

I still lament not keeping my toys from the 70's. I loved my Evil Knievel. Does anyone remember Micronauts? And think a might have had the GI Joe Jaws of death set. I remember playing with a giant clam with GI Joe. I'll never know, because everything is gone. Damn

I found 100, first year, Red Lines at a thrift shop for $200 in dead mint condition. I sold them all over one summer for about $7000. Crazy thing was I left them at the store for an hour while waiting for the manager to return to negotiate. I talked him down from $250. Dumbest hour of my life. Probably should have doubled my prices and waited. Hot Wheels collectors have deep pockets.

I had a lot of these toys . The crazy part is Id get them out the trash on trash day . I always imagined Some kids mother would clean out his room and throw away old toys to make room for new ones . Days before Christmas it was incredible!!! That’s when I found the Godzilla and mazinger Z . And countless Megos ! Great time wish I knew then what I know now

Well I had 10 of those toys, lol. Spiderman was my favorite toy and is still my favorite superhero. I played with the Godzilla and Raydeen a lot also. I had the Space 1999 Eagle with the action figures, a lot of the Six Million dollar man toys, and I still have my Six Million dollar man fan club envelope with the stuff inside it. Also had Fonzie where you could raise his thumbs and has a level in the back to raise his hands, lol. My mom actually still has him. Of course later Star Wars and I had almost all of the toys, since we lived in Cincinnati, OH, it was easy to get them.

My older brother Ron collected Hot Wheels and RC toys, he had a 1971 Green Lantern Dodge Challenger Hot Wheels, I really wanted it because I had a thing for Link's 1971 gold Challenger convertible on The Mod Squad. I looked and looked for a lime green one like his, could only find orange ones and one purple one, so I bought the purple one and traded him for the green one. His favourite toy was a RC Sherman tank as a kid, now he has a 5+ foot replica of Air Wolf that I want.
My younger brother Tim had the Shogun Warriors and the Godzilla, still does actually. Those were fire hazards, surprised they weren't recalled, it used a flint chip like in a Zippo lighter. One time we started a fire to kindling and papers with the Godzilla in a sandbox with the sparks that shot out of his mouth just to see if we could.
I was a science nerd, collected comics, all things Star Wars and played hockey. Had all the OG Star Wars figures, even Snaggletooth who was never in any Star Wars movies. Can't find him anywhere anymore.

Plum Crazy Purple, that was the colour I traded for the green Lantern Challenger. Turned out the Plum Crazy was more rare than the Green Lantern. Orange was the one everyone had, it was called Go Mango Orange.

Some of the Early Bird versions of Luke Skywalker came with a telescoping Light Sabre, too. Mine didn't but some did. Also, in my memory, ALL of the Jawas were released with vinyl capes and then after many months, Kenner came out with the cloth cloak. I might have just been in one of the markets that had both, though. Cool video! I had/have several of these.

I had the whip lightsabers for Vader and Luke. Don't remember Obi-Wan? I didn't think they looked good...lol I gave all my StarWars toys to a school mates younger brother. I had the Space Station, Vader's ship and Luke's land speeder. And X-Wing Fighter. And the lizard thing the Stormtroopers road on. The action figure just went into the body of the lizard with a spring hatch on top. That cost $10 at the time. I also had many of the figures and I kept the boxes for the toys. Too bad I gave everything away...lol

I had an Evel Knievel toy like the one you showed at the beginning of the video. Later got a second one in which Evel had a red suit. But my favorite toy growing up was definitely my GI Joes. I still have one of my GI joes figures but it is not in good shape.

Do you know what's going on with eBay - I keep getting a message to update/verify my account info before 10/26 to receive payment and I do the updates but then get an email saying I haven't provided everything needed. When I log in and click the warning, it says , essentially, "we are still processing your update".

Be very very ⚠️cautious⚠️ with stuff like this. Sometimes they are looking for any information on or about your profile either on eBay or elsewhere. All they need is one thing and if it's the right one thing they can access your account and try to rip you off. BE CAREFUL!!

Honestly there is a "market" for just about anything. Magazines, Toys, Comic books, sports cards, Hot Wheels, Matchbox, and other Die-Cast cars, Star Wars, and recently Funko Pops, Marvel Legends, Star Wars Black Series figures and the Vintage series. TV Guides, Time Magazines, Mad Magazines, basically there's someone else out there who also loves and collects something you might have. Some more than others, some less than others, but there are people out there.

Guess those Mego Planet of the Apes I've been hanging onto since 1974 aren't worth much either especially since Mego reissued them in all their meh (facially they could have all been better) glory. I see NECA is reissuing their vintage POTA figures from 2013 had no idea they ever existed, now those facially are much better.
