Former barista here that had a Gaggia Classic Pro for 5 years before switching to a Pro 400(from WLL of course). Counter space was honestly my limiting factor and I couldn’t be more impressed with the 400 and how it punches way above its weight. I would recommend the flow control upgrade to anyone to extract(get it) the most performance out of the platform.
Man I can’t drink coffee due to a caffeine sensitivity, but I really appreciate the mechanics of an espresso machine. I love coffee aroma and if I drank it, I’d totally pick up a proper machine.
If you can't make excellent espresso with either of these machines, your coffee must be stale. But I would pick the ecm just because it's more expensive and fancy. And I like fancy.....lol
Hi Mark. Another excellent video. I own the ECM synchronika. How is that different from the ECM mechanika Max? Happy thanksgiving to you and your team!
Happy with my Teknika IV Profi PID, it’s less complicated than the Max and makes life easy. Mine is plumbed in and absolutely love it…I reckon the Max is overkill.
Happy Pro 400 owner for a year here coz of youre review Marc. Only uppgrade i would like to do is to change the steam wheel to a level like on the jump instead. Any parts list available to see what is needed( like the exploded parts list i have for my 400)?
where's the Bezzera Aria? flow control , rotary pump etc.. what happened? I'm doubting my next purchase because it is not here. it's cheaper and very capable machine.. is there an explanation?
I was looking for this one too! But building quality troubled me. Look inside: electronics and presure overflow valve are dangerously close together. And although it looks nice; i don’t like the copper boiler. Looks good, will make nice coffee tho.
I have a Bezzera Aria, is this a Heat exchange espresso machine and capable of frothing the milk whilst extracting the coffee, I think it is. Perhaps you should have also included the Aria as an alternative cheaper option? I love the legs on the Bezzera Sole unit and would love them on my Aria. Bezzera also manufacture parts for some of the other big manufacturers which never seems to be advertised.

I would love to watch an "in depth" review of the La Pavoni New Cellini Evolution, which also is a heat exchange espressomachine.
How long do each of them take to be ready to brew?
Will you review the bicocca?
Hey mryy, great timing for your ask - looks like that’ll be my next vid!
Marc
When will the sole be available on the Canada site?
next review Gaggia E24!!!! please
What happened to the Bezzera BZ13 DE ? Why was it discontinued 😔
How does the Profitec pro 600 with quick steam, plus compare to the BEZZERA SOLE and the ECM MECHANIKA MAX?
I have Profitec Pro 400 for over a year now, great little machine except the milk steamer is not good!
