Gosh I hope Johnny’s channel never changes. Once of the best, most original, channels on TH-cam. Just awesome on so many levels. I love the “blue collar” feel and how everything he does is so user and budget friendly. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much. That's what I'm going for so I'm glad that it comes through. I promise I won't change and will not sell out. Well, unless it's for a lifetime supply of beer, I'd sell out for that in a heart beat lol.
@ hell yea. Love it, I love griddling and your recipe’s and videos are fun to follow along. I can’t recommend it enough. Not trying to hate on other channels or sponsors/sponsored videos but there is a level of complexity or fakeness that comes with those. You are so genuine keep up the good work.
@@jamessammyhomerunrace Thanks so much. I definetly have sponsored video too so I guess it's hard for me to say I won't "sell out" lol. But I tried to keep it to people I actually use and would reccomend to my friends and family. I also try not to push it to much just mention the sponsor and thank them. I hope it comes through bc I know what you're talking about with the "fakeness" not from other griddle people but YT videos in general. And I'm trying really hard to avoid that. I'm sure at times I still sound like I"m pushing stuff but that's ok. I just gotta hope that if I'm honest then it will shine through. Thanks again for the comment.
@ sponsorship is great and no problem make as much money as you can making videos. I meant more channels turn into unltrasponsorship with tons of videos that lose that good old fashion cooking you do great love it
Hell yeah, you used the seasoning I sent! I still have like 15lbs of that stuff around here. It's the go-to for any beef or pork we cook. I have some of the chicken version as well.
Hey man I'm so sorry I could not find the comment or remember your name. I got the note you sent with it but accidently threw it out. I would have given you a shout out if I remembered. Thank you so much for the seasoning we really enjoyed it and have used it on other stuff.
@JohnnyBrunet -all good. I forgot I sent it until I saw it. LOL We usually stock up on that stuff at a food service warehouse in Denver because it's half the price there vs local or Amazon. Just go get a case when I visit. Mike, BTW
1:07 That's the way to do it. Taco Bell freshly shreds its cheese as well. The pre-shredded cheese has anti-caking agents which also prevents it from melting properly.
Leftovers? Next morning, we throw them on the griddle to reheat, throw those on a tortilla to fry a bit and serve them open-faced with a fried egg on top. ❤
That's a fantastic idea! like a breakfast tostada! Is that huevos rancheros or not, I never fully understand exactly what makes it rancheros. I think it may be the sauce but I thought it was really just an open faced fryed tortilla with an egg on top.
Man you are awesome my friend. There is no end to the help and ideas that you offer. Being a new griddle owner, this is going to be a fun summer. Thanks again Johnny.
Just did my first cook on my new griddle. I did bacon and hash browns and it all came out really well. I’m glad I found your channel about 10 months ago. It really helped speed up the learning process. I’ve seen that you have a big green egg in the background in some of your videos. Have you thought about making some content on bge? I’m sure a lot of us would love to see it. Maybe an idea for a second channel. Keep up the great content and thanks for helping us all and sharing your recipes and humor with us.
Hey man congrats on the new griddle and I'm glad the first cook went well!! Thanks for following me so long leading up to the purchase. Yes I do have an Egg and I enjoy using it. However I'm not as knowledgeable which is why I'm sticking to the griddle. I had thought about expanding at some point but there's also so many more griddle recipes I need to get to, so it will have to wait. I'm really trying to update my website as well with griddle stuff which is eating up a ton of time. But someday I'll dabble in some smoking videos as well. Thanks again brother.
Thank you i was going to ask how cold outside and still use the griddle but i think you answered that. Might have to break it back out and do some of these.
Of course! It's out back and the ftg 360 is in the garage. Nothing wrong with it, I will be using it again once the weather gets nicer. U just didn't want to wheel it into the garage. I still like the gridiron and would recommend it. But I'm also going to be a Blackstone come spring time to do some beginner videos on that.
McDonalds at home over cooked hamburger puck on white bread cut into the shape of the puck. freedom cheese on top with mushy green peppers ketchup mustard. bread is turning into pink soggy dough mom says here you go McDonadds cheese burger. me😭😭it's good mom

Taco night every night is the life I'm trying to live.
I definitely will be making these tacos on the griddle soon. Great cooks Johnny.

@@number6mbw Thanks Mike! I'll have to check my local food service warehouse when I run out.

The 1st one remind me of mini tacos, which are AWESOME!

You're welcome Jeff!
Looks like the perfect meal for me to make. Simple, easy, and yummy. Thanks Johnny!
You're very welcome. Enjoy!
Go Johnny go...griddling😇 God of Ohio. Thanks, a great video, tacos looked amazingly crunchalicious.
Thanks man, but I think Ryan Day is currently the God of Ohio lol.

TACO NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also... 1ST
I hope I win a prize! 😉
Those all look so good! It’s supposed to be warm in Indiana this weekend so I need to bust out the griddle
Same here in Ohio, I'm thinking about getting out of the garage finally lol.
Thank you i was going to ask how cold outside and still use the griddle but i think you answered that. Might have to break it back out and do some of these.
Go for it! I just always preheat on low when it's cold outside.
@JohnnyBrunet thank you for all the great info.
Love watching these videos and I don’t even have a griddle. Please Johnny, get a pellet smoker 😊
Can I ask a question?
Why aren’t you using the Gridiron 36?
Is there a reason?
Of course! It's out back and the ftg 360 is in the garage. Nothing wrong with it, I will be using it again once the weather gets nicer. U just didn't want to wheel it into the garage. Another great video man. Who’s hungry for tacos now? I’ll take 8 of each. 😉😉
Thanks brother, and it's coming right up!
