Sometimes, I just have to attempt some of the tricks in a run before watching it. I got that urge within the first few seconds of this one, and can confirm, "It's not as easy as it looks." Holy crap, this is nuts.
One of my favorite speed runs... I've seen this at least 10 times and i am enjoying it like I was seeing it the first time still......mecha, you are a beast with the air slash and the transitional stuff (other moves + the glitches) juggling Richter and using the environment to keep going as if you were stringing crazy combos from Tony Hawk Pro Skater.... It's rare it seems when you skip a beat/make a mistake.... Keep it up man... I also enjoy the little details that you add in your videos about the game such as Frame data and whatnot... And I also like watching Romscout's runs as well... He is mean with that Shield Dash
Oh man, the last time I watched an SotN run was years ago! It was with romscout and another dude doing commentary and they were making fun of "Captain Poodlehat", it was hilarious! Anyone know what run that was?
When SotN was ported over to 360, it originally had "I am the Wind" as the credits theme. When the license expired or whatever, they released a patch with the ending theme changed. You can remove the patch and play the game offline (not connected to Live), which is what I did.
Uhh... he died. And then reloaded a save file and was like "this is basically where I was anyways" and kept playing. If that's a legal move in a speed run, why not just let him load a save file near the end of the game and beat the game in a couple minutes?
Almost every runner has marathon backup saves. And he's not trying to get world record, it's just for the sake of completing the run I shouldn't have to explain this, though
This run wouldn't be counted for any kind of records. It's just the best way to avoid breaking up the flow of this run for purely entertainment purposes.
You said it yourself, that was basically where he was, I mean it wouldn't make sense to die when you start the game and reload an end game file, heck I shouldn't be explaining this to you, it is obvious

On what system is this played on? Xbox 360? There is almost no loading time. Don't remember that when I played the PSX version.

Wait, how in the world, in 2016, did you manage to get the Xbox360 SoTN with "I am The Wind"?

try a run with not richter .....
Yeah, I'd like to see a 100% Alucard run of the game.

Those people probably did it in runs where they didn't use a safety save.

This shouldn't be allowed for entertainment or not
