always going super hard on the sound tests, gotta appreciate your commitment homie! Honestly really digging the Neo design language. I’ve said this many times at this point, but I would love to see Neo do a proper gummy o ring 60% board, e.g. a more premium weighted bakeneko
@@Akeynoteyo actually a weighted 60% with a gummy o ring mount and HE switches would be next level! Honestly I dream of a world where someone creates an open source 60% HE compatible PCB that also has H60 cutouts and a daughterboard, it could work in so many customs!!
@@ImOnMy116 keep dreaming bro HE with gummy o-ring may not work out, but it would be freaking sick! The bounce from the gummy would mess with the magnetic sensor 😭
@@Akeynotehaha well I was thinking if the PCB had standoffs it would be okay even with a softer plate, assume the main concern is the need to keep a consistent distance between the switches/switch plate and the PCB.
Comparing the mounting styles of Neo80 over Neo65, this is definitely way more attractive to me. However, I am also not a fan of 80% keyboard. This is just too long for me, and not fitting well with my small narrow working station. Praying Qwertykeys will drop the Neo75 soon and have all the four mounting styles on it. Otherwise, I may want to wait for V2 of Neo65 instead. Thank you for your work, your videos really helps me to decide which boards to get.
Dude I feel you. I have a pretty small desk also. Hopefully Neo studios comes through on the 75. Thanks for checking out my videos, I really appreciate it!
Close to pom maybe a tad higher pitch. The oil kings are pretty high pitch though, so it may be sounding super high pitched in this video than it really is lol.
The vibes that your videos convey are so great dude. ❤ Thanks for all the great videos and i hope that you have an amazing week!
Thank you so much. That made my day. I’m glad you enjoyed!
I like how you gave some thoughts on the sound tests instead of just spamming them all, really adds some context to what normally feels like fluff
Thanks for always coming through. I appreciate you!

nice vid bro, keep it up.where do you get the artisan keycaps from?
Ton of different places. I got these awhile ago I can’t remember sorry.
Hey!
Great vid!
I was wondering - how would you rate the Neo80 compared to the JRIS80?
Better, the magnetic pcb would sell it for me. I kinda like the jris 80 design though
I would buy a qwertykeys/neo hall effect keyboard day one! Really looking forward for it! 😍😍
It’s coming!
which one do you prefer tho? qk80 neo70 or neo80 in terms of quality and feels of typing?
Quality is the same, and I like typing on the 80 more but I don’t like TKL.
how do i set up via with the keyboard help
Oh man, you said nothing but mostly good things and you're saying that its a skip 🤔
I didn’t say it’s a skip lol
@@Akeynote oh? Im just going off the title of your video. i guess i interpreted it completely wrong lol.
@0xBULLgogi clickbait my friend 👍🏽
@@Akeynote well shiiiiiii
Hi. Was the sound okay when I used all the foam? Not as much as mr.suit, but I was wondering if all the foam makes a good sound
Yeah typically when you install all the foam in a keyboard they all sound very similar. This one is good as well.
@@Akeynote Thank you so much for your quick reply. I always wish you all the best and happy new year.🤗
@user-dx8er1fg4x no problem, feel free to drop a sub if haven’t already! It really helps me out ❤️
whats that giga knob macro pad thing beside your keyboard?
It’s the angrymiao wireless headphones
@@Akeynote i see. thanks
Great showcase video. Thanks for all the mounting styles and sound tests!
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps you in someway
Mine is on the way! Can’t wait to see more amazing future products from Neo/Qk. Really enjoy this video, amazing editing and narration!
Hope you enjoy it!

Damn I need friends like you lol. Thanks for coming through and checking out the video

@@brocky neo60 would be fire
There is also the Neo70 which may fit your needs, which you didn't mention.
man i think i made a huge mistake by ordering a polycarbonate plate D:, anyone can tell me what sound profile i would get with pc plate?
Close to pom maybe a tad higher pitch. The oil kings are pretty high pitch though, so it may be sounding super high pitched in this video than it really is lol.
@@Akeynote aren't oil kings supposed to be one of the lowest pitched switches?
@@eossoon naaah the inks are way more low pitched than the oil kings. IMO
That color is dope! Interesting rgb light also, keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Love your input! Was wondering what was your deskmat? The one with the monster hahaha.
The monster ? The red one?
@@Akeynote Yes the red one with the ramen / rice ball monster, do you remember the name of the mat?
How would this compare to the qk80?
I definitely like the look of the qk80 but this types nicer. Sound is subjective
neo80 vs cycle7 who better at sound
I think Neo 80. It sounds a little more crisp. IMO the cycle is a deeper sounding board which I’ve grown out of a little bit
It’s on pre order isn’t it hopefully to order one next month
yeah, but its a rolling stock thing so you don't have to wait forever like a GB. Hope its smooth sailing friend.
did you lube your switches? If so, what did you use?
No lube. Oil kings!!!
@@Akeynoteso are these switches stock?
I love my shelby80
You lucky duck!
