I love Line and Wash and absolutely love this painting and how you mix media with the pencils. Inspirational. You ate such a joy to watch and your skits with your lovely wife. As one whose been married 68 years, I can really relate to your companionship.
Mr Clark , your work is absolutely amazing. I was so hoping that you were a member on Patreon , but sad to say you aren’t. I appreciate you sharing so many of your demos with us, thank you soooo much.
Thanks soooo much Annchen, that's very kind. Patreon is something I may look at in the future but my channel is still very young and I think I need to grow that first - keep in touch!
@@ArtbyPaulClark I was also hoping you had a Patreon account! Looking forward to signing up once you do. Thank you for sharing your work with us and making these tutorials!!
The tree shadows on the roof was a perfect addition. Line & wash is one of my favs and I wouldn't be mad if you did a tutorial of a castle scene...just saying. Thanks for all the great videos and tips, Paul.
Absolutely gorgeous! Your line & wash are genius. Soo beautiful. You can really see the difference on a drawing that is setup properly with correct perspective, vanishing point. Cant get enough of these. Im buying your book today… thank you.
Your videos have give me a new direction. Thanks for making these simple, precise and cheerful videos. It gives me a belief that its not unachievable just try and you can also do it! Thanks a lot Paul!
PLEASE write a second book!! Your 1st one is outstanding and Im wishing for a Line & Wash book to serve as a companion to these great instructional videos. I so wish to be a student of yours but I live in NY, not the UK…😢….. so the books and videos are important to me. As a retired elem school teacher, I appreciate and recognize your excellent teaching skills. Thank you! ❤
I love your line and wash tutorials. Gives me a whole new way to so line and wash. I was stuck with one way of doing this. Can't wait to watch more of your videos.
Lovely , informative and enjoying. The cow''s moo in the background was awesome , it made me laugh. Your style of teaching is so warming, I feel, am in the live class almost. Thank you again Paul.
Thanks for all your videos, all are interesting and I learn a lot. As a French, I appreciate your very clear and smart English. You are very kind in your manner to explain simply difficult things. I should appreciate more examples of mountains and ski resorts in winter, because painting snow seems to me very difficult.
How could anyone not like this video? Thank you, Paul. I love the yellow ochre mix -- I'm going to try that. And blurring the edges with a damp tissue -- love it. Never saw that before. Bockingford, although not my favorite paper, is very forgiving. I like the white accents at the end, too.
Paul, great work as always and thank you for sharing your talents and suggestions with us. Knowing comments regarding soundtracks are touchy, I hesitate to comment but know you will receive it as a positive criticism. Thought the second soundtrack was overdone in this one. Wish the volume was lower and that soundtracks if used would vary more and have shorter cycle times.
Thank you Paul I love the line and wash media but usually struggle with how to begin. You make it look so easy 😊😊Your video is so helpful. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent. So happy I found your channel 😊

This was a great video to watch as an intro to line and wash. It inspires me to look at pictures like this farm one. I grew up in the Shenandoah valley of virginia and could easily imagine what great scenes I could find around my old home. Thank you so much!
Wow, just wow. My paintings always have so much paint on the paper! I love this more transparent style. And, I appreciate the paintings you show at the ends of the videos. I also see at least one way in which I can "pay" you- this book! I will look it up.

I did it!!! :) I'm relatively new at painting in general, it's been 6 months since I started this incredible adventure, but I can see light in the tunnel so it's not so bad, ha ha :) So first of all I want to thank you for showing how to use watercolor, I do like your method, and I can see it's working well in my hands :) I did the sketch on my own to learn this one as well, there are bits and pieces that need working on but generally the outcome looks fine :) I like the tips about perspective that you have provided, they help position the object on paper.
