Hopefully CDPR will add more cyberware so you can kit yourself out to look like Adam with some pretty powerful gear at the expense of some debuffs or something.
I kinda hope with the free or even the paid dlc we get a shit load of cosmetic cybernetics. I really want to add a chrome arm or completely alter how my neck looks similarly to Takemura. Hopefully CDPR can do something like that because our cyberware is cool and all but almost none of it is stylish
That might not be possible for v to have that much cybernetics they would have cyber psychosis because adam does it he was just psychopath before he had cyber psychosis so it doesnt really affect that much compared to other psychos

I love the fact that you keep running into him throughout the story and most of the the time you just see glimpses of his ferocity and malice through whispers or rumours of what he’s done. That and his sheer monstrous physical size in comparison to other characters makes him almost like a ghost story, one that you never wish to find any truth to. I knew at some point I’d have to fight him, and the tension built waiting to be sideswiped by him at some point became terrifying to me, because I had no idea how I could stop him in my first play through. He was a literal monster

just so you know. in the second scene with jackie, if you you have the optic upgrade that allows you to highlight people if they detect you. smasher will glow red as soon as he enters the room, and only loses his highlight as he leaves. he has seen you that entire time and has been staring at you that entire time. that was absolutly terrifying when i experienced this first hand
To be able to beat Adam smasher that fast and easily , u need to be max leveled and thats lorewise like no much different than Adam smasher, but he is just more of a tank with legs

SPOILERS: Good Lord some of the scenes with this dude... Doesn't get more psychotic than screaming "FUCKING MEAT!" and deleting Saul's head with his boot heel.
I like how he spots you twice. While Arasaka panics he just stares at you. He could easily just run at you and crush you but he just stares, he doesn’t care to do a thing.
Smasher isn't that strong in the lore either. I mean, he is still pretty much the second strongest character, but his stats isn't that far from other top tier characters, including Rouge.
In my time playing video games, Adam Smasher has to be one of the spookiest characters ever. I believe the parallels to Robocop in how disfigured he became is what makes him so scary. At some point, Adam was a troubled kid, only to be not only disfigured through the body, but also the mind. Truly a horrifying reality that he loves to be just a brain in a mech body.
Notice when Adam Smasher comes into the room where you break into, and your hiding in the pillar, he is just looking at you the whole time, cause he knows your there.
There's zero doubt in my mind he's still alive even if you hill him considering he canonically has more than one full-borg body and the engram shit Arasaka was fucking around with. He maybe a psychopath but he's absolutely NOT an idiot and with how long he's lived he would absolutely be smart enough to have contingency plans in place for the HIGHLY unlikely but still possible scenario that he's beaten.

Dude I played this game AFTER seeing Edgerunners so I was absolutely sweating when V and Jackie were hiding. I swore he was going to find us out. XD Also we gotta give props to Delamain for not being scrapped by Smasher on sight.
Worse yet regardless of what ending, I bet Arasaka would just piece Smasher back together. A man this infamous in Night City is not about to get his own drink in the Afterlife just yet.
There is a theory that the Adam Smasher we fight is more or less a clone. Arasaka just has Smasher’s soul in a Rellic somewhere keeps putting his Relic in the bodies of other people then chromes them up again.

just so you know. in the second scene with jackie, if you you have the optic upgrade that allows you to highlight people if they detect you. smasher will glow red as soon as he enters the room, and only loses his highlight as he leaves. he has seen you that entire time and has been staring at you that entire time. that was absolutly terrifying when i experienced this first hand
I find it amazing how David with insane gear can't beat smasher and yet V with absolutely no implants and no weapons can beat smasher in 5 minutes

To be able to beat Adam smasher that fast and easily , u need to be max leveled and thats lorewise like no much different than Adam smasher, but he is just more of a tank with legs

Gameplay logic and CDred getting his power wrong. In comparison David took out several maxtac squads and a full army and smasher makes short work of him only because he decided to. Edgerunners was cdred’s response to this

Fun fact! if you get the augment that highlights enemies that can see you, during the heist, while youre hiding with Jackie, Adam can see you the entire time.

First time I saw the dude walking out of the elevator a sense of dread came over me. Adam is as menacing of an enemy that you’ll find in any game.

Smasher isn't that strong in the lore either. I mean, he is still pretty much the second strongest character, but his stats isn't that far from other top tier characters, including Rouge.

In my time playing video games, Adam Smasher has to be one of the spookiest characters ever. I believe the parallels to Robocop in how disfigured he became is what makes him so scary. At some point, Adam was a troubled kid, only to be not only disfigured through the body, but also the mind. Truly a horrifying reality that he loves to be just a brain in a mech body.
Notice when Adam Smasher comes into the room where you break into, and your hiding in the pillar, he is just looking at you the whole time, cause he knows your there.
There's zero doubt in my mind he's still alive even if you hill him considering he canonically has more than one full-borg body and the engram shit Arasaka was fucking around with. He maybe a psychopath but he's absolutely NOT an idiot and with how long he's lived he would absolutely be smart enough to have contingency plans in place for the HIGHLY unlikely but still possible scenario that he's beaten.

If you have the Threat Detector equipped in the scene where you’re hiding, you can actually see that Smasher knows you’re there, he just decides not to say anything. He’s staring right at you

Worse yet regardless of what ending, I bet Arasaka would just piece Smasher back together. A man this infamous in Night City is not about to get his own drink in the Afterlife just yet.
There is a theory that the Adam Smasher we fight is more or less a clone. Arasaka just has Smasher’s soul in a Rellic somewhere keeps putting his Relic in the bodies of other people then chromes them up again.
