OMG thank you for this recording!! I finally found what I was looking for! The only other video with half a million views has memes edited in ruining it all. Finally I can hear this convo that I didn't have in my game. In my game he asked "Think we can find the strength in our hearts to forgive each other?", the neutral convo. I think it might be because I started a new game from scratch and skipped to the Phantom Liberty DLC because I had already played the base game on another platform. So my affinity with Johnny must have been not high enough despite the dialog choices I could make in the DLC, sadly. Or maybe it's because I didn't complete any main story quests or sidequests in this playthrough, only did the DLC. That's too bad that I didn't get this very emotional scene in my game, but at least there's always TH-cam! So thank you so much for this!

Started playing 20 days ago as a full tank, and now im re-playing it as a stealthy netrunner. Still impressed how much a gameplay can differ. The story is so good i couldn't live it there and had to play it again; characters are so well written and designed that i could never forget on of em. Love this game, even if i spotted some bugs and glitches along the way, it is what it is: game' s too big, can' t fix any bug existing, it' impossible. But still, this became my all-time favorite game. Looking forward to future updates and the sequel, since it was announced that they started creating it. Can' t wait
I am on my third playthrough, almost finished. My first one was a regular character at launch, nothing special and nothing I was focused on. I did the suicide ending. My second one was a netrunner tank, patch 1.5. Didn't really do much with that one either but it was fun. For this one I can't remember but I think I did the storm Arasaka with Rogue ending. My third one (my current) is a 2.1 sandevistan build. Really OP and fun, but I do miss netrunning. I also got extremely wealthy because of the Phantom Liberty glitch 😂 Haven't gotten to the ending but I want to do the secret ending for this. Already have 85% with Johnny (the max I believe) And my next run will be a corpo stealth netrunner with optic camo and a thermal monowire. I want the next run to be either the Songbird minor ending or NUSA major ending.
@@piccuz4290 definitely tank sandy is one of the best man! I reckon netrunner is really OP too, but it's very complex these days. Still, I'm planning to give it a try next playthrough with a stealth netrunner build.

@colinfitzpatrick2266 oh thays absolutely true, but that doesn't change the fact, it's the best ending for V, she/he is alive, that was the goal of the entire game.
@@Azhureus I think Cyberpunk does a great job with it's endings in the way that they all are bittersweet in someway and never end in a fairytale manor. No matter what, someone ends up dying or hurt, who depends on you and your choice. I personally think that The Reaper is the best ending, since Johnny lives on in Cyberspace and everyone lives including Rouge. The ending also vaguely alludes that the casino might also even have something of interest to V, be that a cure or something else we'll never know sadly. I know he still has a death sentence but I still like to think that he might have a chance moving forward.
I wish there was an ending where Johhny and V could have kept sharing the body only way to do that is to just not end the game. But Johnny saying goodnight to V like this was a total gut punch prefer the other ending killing Song and going out guns blazing xD
If they don't make a new character for cyberpunk 2079 They could make it where V struggle with life but managed to fix themselves one by one, like getting their upgrade slot or cybervare slot one by one. Could be good starting a game and using a single pistol while being a glass cannon then slowly going back to their prime. Not everyday the same guy/girl comes back from the dead and become a legend twice
I honestly would think it's cool to have V as the protagonist of the next game Back when Bioware was a good company they managed to bring Shepard back from the dead, CDPR definitely could do a good narrative with the same vibe
This is the only game I ever played (and I played a bunch over 30+ years) where a sad ending has me cry each freakin' time ! In original version or in french, this ending with Valerie or Vincent is always heart breaking and tear jerking ...
I couldn’t bring myself do this ending I rather have Johnny in cyberspace and live on there while v has the best time of rest of her life with a Judy and Panam and the nomads and possibly find a way to save v this ending is amazing but just heartbreaking
I'm glad someone uploads these scenes I'll never see while playing so I can watch them. Nothing against people who enjoy these playthroughs, but if I'm putting a hundred hours into a game, I'm getting the good ending and riding off into the sunset with Panam and Judy while Johnny transcends mortality with Alt.
I hate that one dialogue option in the oil fields determines this. I did EVERY side quest and gig in the game and had a relationship of 85% percent with Johnny, just to get the angry him in the end

@@ECLIPSE89745 sure it could be sad, but thats assuming one cared for johnny and all other characters in the first place. My main point is that its the only ending where you get to live and can decide which direction to take V's life. And to me atleast its the best ending

Slowly realizing I got the shit friendship on my almost 200 hour playthrough after completing this ending, and wanting to run through the rest of the endings. Dang it. Welp. Guess I'll have to play it again. Reason why my save file is so long, is because I wanted to do EVERYTHING you can in one play through.

I didn't want to kill of johnny honestly it just feels like something is missing when he's not there after it after everything johnny and v had been through and done it just didn't seem right even tho it is v body in all
This made me hate this ending. It makes it so much more sad. It makes you promise him that you won't let anyone change you, but after you wake up, your whole life is gone. it moved on without you. You aren't allowed to be who you were.
Okay. Before the heist, hitting the major leagues is V's main motivation. After the heist? What is all the main story quests about? Survival not glory. Every single one Well V survived after that well V can do whatever they want, especially after all the money they have from gigs. "You aren't allowed to be who you were." V was just trying to survive they didnt lose anything significant
What is strong about this scene is that it has the same feeling like Konpeki Plaza heist - here you also are saying your last goodbyes to a friend and on top of that, Jackie's Death Theme plays here. We don't see Johnny die but we know what will happen when operation will take place.
Literally just did this ending 20 mins ago and on that save I didn’t have a good relationship with Johnny, but I do on my other save which I’ve been playing, so it hit extra hard talking to him
Man, this ending broke me. I never felt so emotionally drained after finishing a game. I'm still not sure about which one is the saddest, but for now I think that this one is a serious contender
What's annoying is that they could've bolted this on to all the other endings but they decided to make it the equivalent of clocking out of the plot; What stops V from doing any of the other endings just to get payback at Arasaka, remove Johnny and then take the life saving procedure at Langley to retire peacefully with all his/her achievements.
I think it only works that way as it is though. The reality they see is that going to Arasaka means that chooms are probably going to die, Johnny and V both know that. Having Johnny's friendship in that moment means he's finally putting others first, before his ego. It's kinda beautiful and some hella growth for him, doing something for the first person he's ever been true friends with. That said... It would've been interesting to see them blend the endings together somehow, or let bring the tech to Alt and having something weird happen instead of using it for the quiet ending
@@chloewebb5526 Well they could've at least made it a Golden Ending by attaching it to Don't Fear the Reaper. If anything, after going through Phantom Liberty and the Peralez storyline, Mr. Blue Eyes would be the last person V would ever want to deal with.
@@dulio12385because it’s impossible to do the other endings and the tower. In all other ensigns when v goes into micoshi v is soul killed and copied onto the engram. And from what I can understand the surgery V goes through in the tower destroys the engram during removal and V has pretty much all chrome removed. So if v went through with don’t fear the reaper and then tried to do the surgery when the engram is destroyed Vs soul would die and the only thing left would be a vegetative body of V
Its not much of a real choice if you get EVERYTHING then isnt it? In the words of Dexter DeShawn, you either retire for the quiet life, or go out in a blaze of glory. The way this ending plays out against the others (especially Dont Fear The Reaper) just goes to show that CDProjektRed knew exactly what they were doing with the game's narrative and themes.
There are multiple gut wrenching response from Johnny depending on your dialogue choice. My favorite was talking about death, and his response was, “But honestly? The thought of you gone so I could live always scared me more.” In my mind, it made me feel like despite being my choice to do this, him saying that made it feel more like it was his final sacrifice to save me.

you‘re killing him and basically yourself. what do you expect???
@@BeastyBite for one, ur not killing yourself, at this point in time, you think your saving urself and have no reason to doubt that. Secondly, Johnny isn’t alive, so he can’t be killed, and he’s literally killing you the entire game. If Johnny was has any level of empathy or compassion for you, he would act like he does in this version
"Not askin you to never give up. Sometimes you gotta let go...Just don't let anyone change who you are, kay?"
My affinity was pretty fucink high. I had done everthing right I thought, told him he saved my life at the oil field, all that shit. Dunno why I got the neutral ending. Maybe because I forgot to finish the last quest with kerry on the boat, I dunno. I skipped because i heard female V tries to kiss him without you doing anything or something.
😊
@@chloewebb5526Well, you were told wrong on both cases
1. You need to unlock the secret ending to have this dialogue
2. Kerry's quest doesn't end in a kiss if you don't choose to
Cyberpunk was an epic game for sure.
That last line hits like a freight train
I also got extremely wealthy because of the Phantom Liberty glitch 😂
Haven't gotten to the ending but I want to do the secret ending for this. Already have 85% with Johnny (the max I believe)
And my next run will be a corpo stealth netrunner with optic camo and a thermal monowire. I want the next run to be either the Songbird minor ending or NUSA major ending.
@@christianmcbrearty hell yeahh, my first PG was male V, tank sandevistan with David' s jacket. Had a blast with it
@@piccuz4290 definitely tank sandy is one of the best man! I reckon netrunner is really OP too, but it's very complex these days. Still, I'm planning to give it a try next playthrough with a stealth netrunner build.
With rpgs I like seeing all the options but after playing the game so many times over and coming to love Johnny Silverhand, I just don't think I could stomach watching the bad relationship ending. This ending hurts in a beautiful way.
Best ending really. Depressed, but alive ! I got this good ending and it had me crying like lil baby !
It's the worst ending
@@anilsilvercock nah, not even close
I think it's a matter of perspective. Everyone is gonna say something different.
Bro almost a year later this still gets me to tears
“G’night, Valerie. Today was a good day.”
“Mmmnh… Party on, dude…”
fuckin hell, Fem V VA was doing so fucking good job. Shit, i cannot.
I wish there was an ending where Johhny and V could have kept sharing the body only way to do that is to just not end the game.
But Johnny saying goodnight to V like this was a total gut punch
prefer the other ending killing Song and going out guns blazing xD
I got it first time when I played Dlc. Cried for solid minutes there
If they don't make a new character for cyberpunk 2079
They could make it where V struggle with life but managed to fix themselves one by one, like getting their upgrade slot or cybervare slot one by one.
Could be good starting a game and using a single pistol while being a glass cannon then slowly going back to their prime.
Not everyday the same guy/girl comes back from the dead and become a legend twice
I honestly would think it's cool to have V as the protagonist of the next game
Back when Bioware was a good company they managed to bring Shepard back from the dead, CDPR definitely could do a good narrative with the same vibe
This is the only game I ever played (and I played a bunch over 30+ years) where a sad ending has me cry each freakin' time !
In original version or in french, this ending with Valerie or Vincent is always heart breaking and tear jerking ...
Man when I played this ending the sound of Vs voice had me choking
“There are only good choices and shitty ones”- Johnny Silverhand
I couldn’t bring myself do this ending I rather have Johnny in cyberspace and live on there while v has the best time of rest of her life with a Judy and Panam and the nomads and possibly find a way to save v this ending is amazing but just heartbreaking
3:14 building name is "Fourth wall", nice touch CDPR😂
I'm glad someone uploads these scenes I'll never see while playing so I can watch them.
Nothing against people who enjoy these playthroughs, but if I'm putting a hundred hours into a game, I'm getting the good ending and riding off into the sunset with Panam and Judy while Johnny transcends mortality with Alt.
I hate that one dialogue option in the oil fields determines this. I did EVERY side quest and gig in the game and had a relationship of 85% percent with Johnny, just to get the angry him in the end
This was the part of the DLC that finally got me to cry
You know he's a man of principle...he said he'll take a bullet for you in the mission Tapeworm..
I didn't get this dialogue at the end. This feel hard. Thank you, really !
For some reason I had 85% but he still got mad at me
Same
This hits hard especially if you know what’s coming next for V and his loved / friends …
trading that away for living is worth it and I refuse to believe you wouldn't take that deal either.
You can always find new friends its a none issue.
@@takumu781 Can‘t tell if I am not in that exact position I get your point tho. „You only start missing something when it’s gone“ and I think that would be me then after the 2years not just talking about the friends but also the times with Implants, Johnny etc.
@@ECLIPSE89745 sure it could be sad, but thats assuming one cared for johnny and all other characters in the first place.
My main point is that its the only ending where you get to live and can decide which direction to take V's life. And to me atleast its the best ending
@@takumu781 100% agreed, but I‘d consider it since we are already in that odd position of having the NUSA helping us and having that weird relic in our brain and I‘d without other character like Judy / Panam that helped us early on we wouldn’t be that selfish as hole and ignored afterwards. Are we haha
I did this ending for the trophy last night and it broke my heart. Between Johnny saying goodbye and my outcome with Judy........
Never knew killing my schizophrenic friend I’ve had for who knows how long would be such an emotional roller coaster. Im so glad I gave this game a chance last year because it quickly became my favorite game of all time.
I didn't want to kill of johnny honestly it just feels like something is missing when he's not there after it after everything johnny and v had been through and done it just didn't seem right even tho it is v body in all
Man if they replaced this background song with "New dawn fades" this ending would've destroyed people instantly but much more servere.
Every single one
Well V survived after that well V can do whatever they want, especially after all the money they have from gigs.
"You aren't allowed to be who you were."
V was just trying to survive they didnt lose anything significant
@@takumu781 his main motivation still was glory.
survival was the necessity to reach that goal.
@@jlmoodhd7415 nope that changed when the relic was found
This was one of the hardest things I had to force myself to do
bro.. that was so.. good..
fucking hell i cant watch this without crying
Strange to feel so much emotion over people that never existed.... V, Silverhand, Rogue...
Well...that's definitely NOT how our conversation went
What is strong about this scene is that it has the same feeling like Konpeki Plaza heist - here you also are saying your last goodbyes to a friend and on top of that, Jackie's Death Theme plays here. We don't see Johnny die but we know what will happen when operation will take place.
Literally just did this ending 20 mins ago and on that save I didn’t have a good relationship with Johnny, but I do on my other save which I’ve been playing, so it hit extra hard talking to him
I cant with this ending, after me and Johnny went through fk man
Still think it's so stupid that this was locked out by literally one dialogue option in a random mission
That's literally a main mission but OK
I can't do this to Johnny, man.
me too
i'm not crying. You're crying
Waittt i have 85% relationship with Johnny but i didn't get this convo???
you gotta pick certain dialogue in one of the jhonny quests
Man, this ending broke me. I never felt so emotionally drained after finishing a game. I'm still not sure about which one is the saddest, but for now I think that this one is a serious contender
well fuck, i thought me and jonny were cool, we were not. SHIT
This shit made me cry when I saw it the first time. Like god damn it’s so fucking depressing
Just finished the video, I’m not crying again I promise :(
Keanu Reeves did an amazing performance😭❤️
@@dulio12385 V in all other endings that are non-Arasaka is an engram just like Johnny
It's entirely different compared to this ending where it's V
Its not much of a real choice if you get EVERYTHING then isnt it? In the words of Dexter DeShawn, you either retire for the quiet life, or go out in a blaze of glory. The way this ending plays out against the others (especially Dont Fear The Reaper) just goes to show that CDProjektRed knew exactly what they were doing with the game's narrative and themes.
How did you get this convo to appear for Johnny? My relationship with johnny is at 85% and he got butt hurt about getting wiped.
I generally just picked dialogue options where I was chooms with Johnny or aligned with his ideals a lot of the time.
He was an ass for me too, but it still made me cry in the end lol
I’m at 85 and we’re best buds.
When visiting his grave say "You ficked that up too" and then tell him he's getting one final chance.
That's it.
@@Paragon231 Aye, this is how you also unlock the secret ending with V soloing the final mission.
That one was sad af
There are multiple gut wrenching response from Johnny depending on your dialogue choice. My favorite was talking about death, and his response was, “But honestly? The thought of you gone so I could live always scared me more.”
In my mind, it made me feel like despite being my choice to do this, him saying that made it feel more like it was his final sacrifice to save me.
I been looking for this
when he said v’s full name i lost it 🥺
And then v wakes up after a long coma 😂😂😂😂😂
This game was truly a masterpiece
