And theres a scene where you can talk to mason and frank, most of the time they saying mean things when you start the conversation with them. First it looks like theyre making jokes, but i think they just dont want to have anything to do with bell.

I’m seeing a lot of people defend this ending; Adler’s decision to shoot Bell, how he wasn’t “needed” anymore, and given that he regained his memories, he “could’ve been a risk”. What I don’t understand is, they needed him to find Perseus - so after learning where he supposedly was, why didn’t they kill Bell before? Furthermore, why kill him at all if Perseus is still out there? The importance of his role was made clear. Bell had history with the big man upstairs, and was given a chance to redeem himself by working against a former ally. If I recall correctly, Adler’s words to Bell were “you’re still one of us.” There was nothing that would have suggested otherwise. There was no clear logical motive, or foreshadowing of this decision. It’s as if the writers decided “hey, let’s just throw in a twist with no explanation for the sake of shock value”. Then left it on a cliffhanger, again, never to be addressed. At least, such was the case for Call of Duty Ghosts. Overall it was enjoyable for me, and kept me interested enough to see it through. There were some pretty nice callbacks, some interesting ideas. But the endings we got here felt rushed to me. Or am I the only one that feels this way?

Man the whole campaign shoulda been longer, if there was one cod game to stretch out longer than usual it was this one. I realized it when it does the close ups of Adler, Mason, and Woods on the aircraft carrier, two of them not really doing much to earn it.
Campaign felt rushed with only only a few notable missions(vietnam, and the call back to blackbird mission was cool) cutscenes also ran like shit on Xbox one
Adler survived, as per Warzone cutscenes. Bell is M.I.A. The timeline after BOCW diverges. One leads into MW and WZ, and the other leads into BO2, BO4 and BO3.
This was an awesome game! I think Bell needs another life in call of duty. Alder was good but I wish him and bell had a friendship, but instead he blows bell’s brain out
They was saying that had no use for bell in Break on through so when Perseus was dead they did not need bell anymore but yeah I kind of feel like they did him dirty.
I could be wrong but Bell won the pistol duel since you can see how he has Adler on target faster than him. he probably killed him and ran away and that’s why we don’t see either of them in Bo2

This ending is so damn boring compared to the “worst ending.” It’s worse because this ending’s canon LOL Like I solved all the puzzles and got all the evidence, but this is it? And a slideshow at the end? Lame. BO2 did it better.
I mean, no fucking shit? This game takes place before BO2 and has to take into account that none of the new dudes are in it, hence why they die in the end. Secondly, it fits the whole "CIA and Soviets fucking everybody to get ahead of each other" theme by tying up loose ends, especially since the CIA now has massive liabilities running around. This ending is more realistic to me than the Soviet one, since that ending is an idealistic interpretation of what could have happened, but would never plausibly would.
I think Bell shoted Adler first because he is younger than Adler, so his reacton time must be better, and also, if watch closely, you will see, that Bell pointed his gun faster at the Adlers opened chest, when Adler was slower, and if he shoot - he Will damge Bells hand but not to kill him

I like to think that Adler was planning to die after the whole operation with Bell being his self destruct button. One last prompt and Bell was just as ready to kill Adler. Both dying ensures MK Ultras secrecy (since it uses Adlers memories and Bell is a direct result of the project). Plus Bell was a ticking timebomb the CIA had to dispose.

I’m seeing a lot of people defend this ending; Adler’s decision to shoot Bell, how he wasn’t “needed” anymore, and given that he regained his memories, he “could’ve been a risk”. What I don’t understand is, they needed him to find Perseus - so after learning where he supposedly was, why didn’t they kill Bell before? Furthermore, why kill him at all if Perseus is still out there?
The importance of his role was made clear. Bell had history with the big man upstairs, and was given a chance to redeem himself by working against a former ally. If I recall correctly, Adler’s words to Bell were “you’re still one of us.” There was nothing that would have suggested otherwise. There was no clear logical motive, or foreshadowing of this decision. It’s as if the writers decided “hey, let’s just throw in a twist with no explanation for the sake of shock value”. Then left it on a cliffhanger, again, never to be addressed. At least, such was the case for Call of Duty Ghosts.
Overall it was enjoyable for me, and kept me interested enough to see it through. There were some pretty nice callbacks, some interesting ideas. But the endings we got here felt rushed to me. Or am I the only one that feels this way?
you are absolutely right, however it may have been an act on hudson/black's behalves, as they both didnt like bell. adler is just an agent, he probably received the orders from the top to erase loose ends
Man the whole campaign shoulda been longer, if there was one cod game to stretch out longer than usual it was this one. I realized it when it does the close ups of Adler, Mason, and Woods on the aircraft carrier, two of them not really doing much to earn it.

They was saying that had no use for bell in Break on through so when Perseus was dead they did not need bell anymore but yeah I kind of feel like they did him dirty.

I mean, no fucking shit? This game takes place before BO2 and has to take into account that none of the new dudes are in it, hence why they die in the end. Secondly, it fits the whole "CIA and Soviets fucking everybody to get ahead of each other" theme by tying up loose ends, especially since the CIA now has massive liabilities running around. This ending is more realistic to me than the Soviet one, since that ending is an idealistic interpretation of what could have happened, but would never plausibly would.

@@syedabdulrauf4545 It’s ambiguous who gets killed in this ending. It’s likely Adler died seeing as he doesn’t show up later on and you play as the good guys in earlier games but if Bell survived, he probably would’ve just gone into hiding. Which explains his disappearance.
