I love your channel so much. You have genuinely helped me introduce some of my friends to this game in a way no other channel has. There is so much information that we, as PoE and ARPG players generally, take for granted that is not covered even by other noob friendly guides. Even when I show my noob friends a Zizaran video they end up asking me so many basic questions that neither Ziz or I thought of, but you manage to get most of it. It's amazing that PoE is such a complex and deep game that even though I have played for 500+ hours, there is still new stuff for me to learn in a beginner video like this. Great build and video. I wasn't really planning on playing any more Settlers but this video really reminded me of what I love about PoE and I'm gonna give this build a go.

It’s my goal to try and put myself in the shoes of a new player and help them get over the enormous hump we all gave starting out, and if you say I’m actually doing that, well, that’s amazing. Man you missed the time line by two days. The noobs need time to understand things. Just presenting it to them won't make sense. But overall a highly detailed video for 3.26. Really great work 💯

But the trouble with having a one year old kid, a full time job, and only one week notice by GGG that a new league is launching… Is that you have a one year old kid, a full time job, and only one week notice by GGG that a new league is launching ;) On the bright side, while new players need more time to absorb things, they ALSO need more time to play through. As you may recall if you think back, we weren’t all doing sub 10 hour campaigns on our first go-round. Mine took me days or weeks I think. So I hope this guide can still help some folks that either don’t start at the very moment the league kicks off, or take more than a day or two to get through the campaign. For everyone else who CAN get through the campaign quickly, the main path to this guide always exists. Hope everyone has fun!

It’s like one of those signs you see in greasy spoon food joints, “You can get it fast, you can get it cheap, or you can get it good, but you can’t have all 3.” Well I don’t charge anyone for my videos lol, so that means I gotta choose between fast and good. I try to opt for good, or at least as good as I can do :)
What sort of potential does this build have for someone who does not engage in trade? I'm a visually impaired gamer and only play on standard. I stopped playing this game a few months ago because I became quite disillusioned with how hard the game is to progress not just because of my low vision but because I could never acquire key items to progress the build. I just feel like this game gives a big middle finger to people like me.
@@bendybruce I am sorry to hear about your difficulties, truly. Unfortunately as I say in part 0 of the guide, this build is indeed aimed at players with access to the trade economy. (It’s also a bit visually flashy and has a modest degree of screen clutter). Regarding SSF vs trade, trade is what the majority of players play, including myself. SSF definitely adds extra challenge to the base game (GGG give all indication of balancing around trade, not SSF), and I’m not sure if I am the one to help with that. I do not have any particular expertise in solo-self found since I do not play it, so it would feel irresponsible to presume to give people advice for that game mode. With that said, you may want to get in touch with content creator ShakCentral, who reached out on one of my videos and indicated he might try to make this work in SSF. Unlike me, he has a great deal of expertise in that area and I would trust his opinions. Zizaran is another popular content creator with a very approachable style who designs a lot of builds with solo self found in mind, but you may already know about him. I wish you luck friend, I’m sorry to hear the game has been frustrating for you.
