    Literally the exact video I was looking for. This one card alone doubled the IQ requirement to master Lab lol😂

    Good explanation, cheers man
    Also it would be good to cover some rogue matchups aswell.
    Like calling:
    Red Rising Dragon
    SwordSoul Chixiao / Swordsoul Strategist Longyuan
    If the enemy is under a floodgate like droll also,
    Calling generic cards is very good as well works:
    Baronne de Fleur
    SP Little Knight
    Insane card if you are a practiced player.

    The sirens going off in background while going through rescue ace is fitting

    I’m not understanding why you can’t use the banish effect in response to a monster

    • @sinistergaming_tcg
      @sinistergaming_tcg  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can’t use this as C2 to a monster effect on field because Black Goat prevents activations only and does not negate them.
      Simple terms: you can’t prevent the effect if it’s already activated. So you need to use it before the eff is activated.

    Can u copy the effect of TBGL with Transaction Rollback in u already used one of its effects this turn? Ans if so, why?

    • @sinistergaming_tcg
      @sinistergaming_tcg  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can copy the effect. It will apply the on-field activation / effect though. You can do it because Transaction Rollback’s effect is to copy the effect of the card when activated, you wouldn’t be “using” TBGL twice. This is why you can target our Welcome traps as well (apply on field effects).

    if the opponent activiates branded fusion summon albion, i chain black goat and
    declare albion, can they still summoned it?

    • @sinistergaming_tcg
      @sinistergaming_tcg  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You have to predict/guess what would be summoned when they activate Branded Fusion but they can summon something else instead of you call a specific name. I think it would be also good just to call Mirrorjade whenever they summon their actual fusion. That’s what they would bring out 80% of the time anyway.

      @@sinistergaming_tcg tks for the reply but can you activiate black goat at the opponent standby phase without chaining to anything? Also if i declare the right monster they would summon, they will need to choose another monster, right?

    Just set it if you can't pitch it to GY. Don't even need to know what opponent is playing, just declare "Fenrir" in draw phase xP

      True, I did mention on-field and grave applications in the video. Sadly you can’t use both effects in the turn otherwise blind calling a card isn’t too bad. I would call S:P Little Knight and that would be extremely helpful.

    When activating the card on field, you can activate in response to a summon. Do you have to activate the card before the opposing player chooses what card to summon? You can’t wait until they choose the card, then flip the trap? For example, impulse searches for “one rescue ace monster.” Once I allow them to search the deck for a “rescue ace monster” I have already let the effect go through? A card like gamma forces you to search driver so I obviously call driver and negate the whole thing

      I’m have a bit of trouble understanding your example. But let me see if I can provide clarity.
      Let’s say your opponent searches w/ Hydrant. They search Turbulence. In this instance you have 2 options. You may activate Black Goat before the eff of Turbulence in hand is activated OR you can let them pay cost and banish 2 for Turbulence effect. In both these scenarios, your opponent cannot summon it.
      Keep in mind this ONLY because Turbulence’s effect to summon itself starts a chain link and reveals itself in hand first.
      If it were an extra deck monster, like S:P Little Knight, you would have to do it preemptively before they summon that monster. You have to analyze the game state a bit more for this type of prevention.

      @@sinistergaming_tcg you’re right about being confused with my impulse example. You helped me see the flaw in my thought process. I get ahead of myself. So based on how I’m understanding it now, I can chain the on field effect of BGL to Nib because it reveals itself. I can’t chain to a summon like Fenrir because there is no cost and it’s just summoning itself, like cyber dragon?

    • @romygutierrez7873
      @romygutierrez7873 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sinistergaming_tcg impulse special summons a machine “rescue ace” monster. When can I chain BGL? Can I physically let them search the deck for the rescue ace monster, they reveal which card they chose, THEN I chain BLG? Or do I have to make an educated guess what rescue ace monster they want to search and try to call it preemptively? Like how you have to respond to talents before the player chooses which of the 3 effects to use?

    • @sinistergaming_tcg
      @sinistergaming_tcg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct on your first comment.
      For Impulse you will have to make an educated guess based on R-ACE machines. They choose on resolution of the card what to bring out. They will likely do: Hydrant or Turb. If they already used then Preventer would be next.
      So if you chain, they may bring out a different card than what you called.

    I believe it would be a great to mention that the card really can be a double edged sword.
    The main purpose of it is to be discarded of furniture when you go second, otherwise the card isnt that crazy, you may set, if able with Lady a card like daruma or à floodgate if you have it in your list.
    Here us the issue, if you use the card during m1 with furniture combo, you expose yourself to à really hard SP clearing you backrow and if its your day, à talent on top, in the Best case you would have lost 2 card to activate an akward imperm
    This card force you to commit your trap during the main phase like shifter would do if you play it in lab, as long as SP is legal, and lv1 the méta, its very risky to play black goat

    • @sinistergaming_tcg
      @sinistergaming_tcg  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct. It’s a double edged sword and not mandatory to play as it forces us to play in the opponent’s MP, which is not ideal in this meta.
