Early today! (well for me anyway as I'm always late haha!) Laura giving us tips thinking that we'll even be even close to her talent, not a chance hehe.
Love how you did tip number 1 manually. I always do it manually too because that button that says "level" never seems to work for me haha! I've done it and it's made it look like a drunk person that's fallen over lol! I always level it manually but yes, can't agree more, always level the horizon
BTW I dont shoot football anymore, I now shoot womens American football and the team wanted gritty so I used your moody greens on all of them and they LOVED it!

If the shine slider doesn't do the job as much as you need, I clone at 50% over the area with nearby skin.
Luminar AI is what I use and love it, haven't upgraded yet. Blemish remove tool not my favorite, usually erase or clone. Great program for my artsy non-technical brain. 😅

Luminar Neo is very good for faces but Portrait Pro 23 is even better.
I love Luminar but I’ve never tried Portrait Pro. I guess Portrait Pro is focused on just Portrait while Luminar Neo is a complete software. Thanks for sharing! I’ll check it out.

Great tutorial Laura! One question, I do a lot of nature photography, would Luminar Neo be a good choice for that as well, or would Lightroom be the better choice? I hate the idea of a subscription, but don't want to sacrifice quality either.
Great video, me encanto! Do you shoot in RAW only or JPG & RAW? If you have to do a quick upload to social media while shooting, do you use your JPG in camera?

Great video, Laura! Is there something unique about the histogram in photoshop? I’m curious as to why you don’t use the histogram in LR or Neo.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🥰 Nothing different in particular. I do the last touches always in Photoshop so that’s the only reason why I check it there. Because is the very last step. But it can be checked in other editing software as well as I mentioned in the video, as long as it’s the last step. 🥰❤️

Hola Marcela! ❤️ Lo poco que hago con el histograma ya lo menciono aquí. No da para un vídeo mencionar solo los niveles. Además edito mis fotos oscuras y no serviría como buen ejemplo. 😅 Lo más importante es lo que explico aquí para corregir un poco la luz, lo ideal es sacar la foto bien expuesta en cámara. Pensaré algún vídeo donde hablar de eso también. 🥰

I am having trouble figuring out my editing style. I like Natural, Creamy and a litttttle bit warm, I also like Moody.
What the heck do I stick with? 🤷🏽♀️
I also don’t shoot at the same times or same locations, sometimes its a bright location, sometimes its dark location, sometimes its sunny, sometimes its not.
Sometimes I am indoors, sometimes I am not.
Because of that its hard to bee consistent.

Imagine paying someone for the session hundreds $ and then asking to make their physique more slim or fatty..
I heard once, women today sometimes doesnt know how they look... They put make up. They do face surgeries. At last they use camera photo filters and in their heads they think they look like that in real life, like on that photo.. 😂 That times are very sad for women with that insecurity who got in the wrong circle of looking how to accept your body but still chasing trends to feel fine with themselves mentally.
Unfortunately yes. I guess social media and trends are playing a huge part and more and more women feel insecure about how they look. When they look incredible just as they are. But we must respect everyone’s decisions and way of being. 🙏🏼
