    Hi Kelvin, I think maybe you might have made a small mistake on the HSBC Advance Credit Card. To be eligible for the 1% additional cashback, you mentioned that one of the criteria is to have five transections on the card and which can be easily achieved by using this card as a public transportation card. However, I have checked with both the HSBC physical brick and mortar branch as well as calling the HSBC Credit Card hotline already, public transportation transactions isn't considered eligible transactions for the five transections required to get the additional 1% cashback.

    What do you think comparing posb everyday card vs Uob card?
    And ask a stupid question, does simplyGo charges the same as one using the ezlink card? I.e. the transition cost between bus and mrt. Thanks

    • @KelvinLearnsInvesting
      @KelvinLearnsInvesting  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Posb everyday gives 8% cashback for food delivery, 5% for sheng siong, lazada, amazon. If your main spend is not in these categories, then the card is not for u.
      For ezlink, you would need to top up the card first, while for simplygo, you just treat the card as credit card and just tap and go

    its been proven that people spend more when using their credit cards. its very easy to overspend just to meet the min cashback criteria.

      Agree as well that the reason why the banks are earning more than us. Just look at the offices that they have. They wont be so stupid giving u cashback if they don't earn more than it.....I have no credit cards. 1 debit card and pure 💸. It makes me think twice about withdrawing the money and go to spend to begin with.
