Bro, the older games from super famicom, sega Saturn and PlayStation 1 and 2 are some of the hardest in the series without action replay cheats. I really appreciate that the last few entries gave us the option to play easy mode for those who just want to enjoy the story and interaction among the different series. I am also surprised that Gridman and Ultraman make their debut in this entry which hopefully Bandai/Namco will give a chance to create a new game based on live action super heroes like kamen rider, super sentai using the SRW engine although I know in the past they tried to do it in previous consoles with little success. Majestic Prince is an underrated series which I recommend to watch as this cast of pilots are the least emo characters unlike many real robot pilots who suffered ptsd or other issues. Just got the physical game today and will be spending my weekend playing it! Cheers!
Hey, i don’t know if you will read this but, i’am new to this series rn, i’am playing ogmd but already have V,X, and 30 on my steam which i planned to play after ogmd. I see so many people kinda dissapointed with this game (i don’t know if it’s many, or i’am just unlucky to see all the bad comments at once) but, i want to hear your overall thoughts about this game.
With this review I think I now understand better what the game is about. I think I have seen Captain Future among the super heroes, as a kid I loved this TV show, especially with the German soundtrack. I am still not sure if it is something for me. I wonder why these Super Robot Wars games are so expensive, and there are no price drops. Maybe there is a demo, but I perhaps have to create a Japanese account for being able to access it.
Srw game is known to hold multiple expensive anime license. Aside from the the great grandpa of mecha Gundam Mazinga Getter which appear in every super robot series The other might be expensive...
Thanks for the video. I returned most of my physical copies and then re-bought those digitally because digital copies help me switch between software faster. I found that software that I only had physical copies for were played the least due to the delay.
X is currently on sale on Hong Kong Eshop also T and 30 have demos but for whatever reason 30 is not in english for the HK version but is for Japanese version according to the vid but literally just found out about this series an hour ago as of commenting after trying to check out about a lesser mech game so I'm trying to see which is the better one myself and currently checking out the demo for SRW T. They all seem relatively similar tho except 2 are older ports X and V I think SW said. 30 is the newest tho. But after checking a ranking list they had V as higher than T and X but they are all good and pretty similar to one another from the sound of it. I think 30 is newest so it wasn't ranked at that time. But that list I saw has literally all of them which had a ps2 game as number 1 and a ps1 games as second best. V was 10th and highest among switch versions. But 30 is the newest followed by T.
@@SwitchWatch that sucks because the other advantage to Singapore version is a bunch of Asian English releases that have English sub that the Japanese store doesn’t have and. SD Gundam games don’t have good dlc so they eventually pack it in with the game at a later time. SRW X and V only came with the dlc for the Switch because they are older games and the dlc added on made the purchase somewhat more worth it.
@@westonmeyer3110 soo you think it would be wise to get it at a later date? the only ones available in out place is the standard edition also sux that it isn't available on e-shop also

The game will likely only get even more expensive with time like most SRW games do.
Why is this the only review we have of the game O.o Looking forward to dive into the game.
A lot of people overlook it
Bro, the older games from super famicom, sega Saturn and PlayStation 1 and 2 are some of the hardest in the series without action replay cheats.
Aside from the the great grandpa of mecha
Gundam Mazinga Getter which appear in every super robot series
The other might be expensive...
Thanks for the video. I returned most of my physical copies and then re-bought those digitally because digital copies help me switch between software faster. I found that software that I only had physical copies for were played the least due to the delay.
Looks like V, X, T and 30 are available in English. Anybody have a recommendation on the best?
@@ChipHazard316 Playing through V now and I can't believe its ranked so high.
But how is the performance? I know G Generations Crossrays had poor loading times and even frame rate drops.
This is perfectly fine 😊
Best game of October! Absolutely love SRT! Great vid, Jordan!
Thanks matey
Singapore psn store is way cheaper than Japanese psn store so that the way to go for me for the ultimate edition
Shame there’s no Singapore eShop
@@SwitchWatch that sucks because the other advantage to Singapore version is a bunch of Asian English releases that have English sub that the Japanese store doesn’t have and. On sales I somtimes find stuff cheaper in Singapore compare to us psn store and just buy from there like sao alicization lycrosis just pick that up the deluxe that comes with the season pass content for 35 US dollars worth of Singapore psn money compare to it being 68usd on sale in the us psn store right now
Looks like a fun SRPG! Really want to get into this series. 🤖
Its worth picking up at least one 😊
@@SwitchWatch Yeah definitely, might go with SRW V in order of the Switch release.
SRW easy??
did you play the old versions?
Is there a North American release on switch eshop?
Sadly not
@@SwitchWatch oh well. So basically get the Asia English copy and start a Japan switch account for the dlc?
I admit I want the OLED, but I love Super Robot Wars as well. It's awesome!
Easy!? Oh, not everyone tries to get the SP of the maps, i guess?
It is easy but most of the battles seem padded. Also customization is poor. Its all story driven dictated by the game, even levelled up characters perform poorly
@@Zneiero my bad, i thought they kept the special points mechanic where you have to finish everything in x turns and kill bosses with x character, Just bought It, but Hey, at least There's super Expert+ with expansion pack
Can’t decide if I want to get this on PS5 or switch
Hi friend! How resgate the cod of DLC free do you know? Thx
From the Japanese eSHop
@@SwitchWatch Nice!! Thx
Im quite excited for this 😋
I'm so sick of this game not fully coming to the west... I just want to play in the US on switch plz 😔
It's super easy to get everyone upgraded with all the free missions available
