Got rid of my Jeep 4XE in. Too much risk. Thankfully I work for a Mopar dealership. I’ll keep y’all updated when it comes out or if it is about to come out.

I'm still confused by this... I bought a brand new 2024 Sport S from a Jeep dealer a month ago. I asked the salesman if all of the recalls and issues had been addressed in regards to my Jeep. He said he reached out to the Service department and they said that my Jeep was good to go and all issues were resolved. Since the price was so heavily discounted, I bought the Jeep and brought it home. I also purchased an extended warranty through Mopar. 1800 miles later, the Jeep has been fine. I charge it every night after my 30-mile daily commute to work and back. I don't know if the 95B thing applies to me, or if I'm supposed to be charging my Jeep every night or not. If my brand new Jeep was sold with an active recall that has not been resolved, then it seems that Jeep/Stellantis is liable on many levels. So, is my new Jeep unsafe to charge? Was I lied to by the dealership? How much money does Jeep owe me, and how do I get it?
@@treyveston7965 It’s likely not on the recall list. The newer 4XEs have different separators in the battery. You can double check by going to NHTSA.gov and Mopar.com and search your VIN for any recalls. But odds are, yours isn’t impacted by the 95B recall.
Saw troubling news that Stellantis may be completely dropping the jeep brand and filing bankruptcy. This would possibly give customers little recourse against them! Anyone who can corroborate this out there??
What I don't understand is why they dont replace each kwner battery for a safe one? Maybe they havent figured how to do it or dont care. Software update does not fix it
@@VicV91 If I’m correct with my math, the price tag on that would be between $800,000,000 and $1,000,000,000. No one wants to take a billion dollar loss so I’m sure they are trying to find a solution that doesn’t involve that. But I agree, it seems like the only solution. However, I also have to ask if Samsung actually has the ability to produce a battery that doesn’t have this issue that will fit in the current battery space and yield the same capacity. I’ve been wondering this is a complete design failure that simply can’t be resolved given the restrictions of the current design.
@Wrangler4XEFans I loved when I drofe the 4xe, I don't own one but it's a big concern that Jeep is even allowed to sell "new" 4xes, they really don't care
Found this recently, can’t verify authenticity: The remedy for this recall will be Phased. FCA US will notify dealers of final remedy for Jeep Wrangler vehicles on or about 12/07/2024 and begin mailing Final Owner Letters to customers on or about 12/17/2024. I have a question ,,, can you ask on the community, how many people got fix the 95B ?????
@@KNXKim There is no resolution for 95B yet. That’s what the petition is partially about.
Have you gone to ALL of the other wrangler communities?
@@rwagner563 No. I found that most Jeep groups don’t welcome conversations about the 4XE. Sort of gave up trying 4 years ago.
4xe peeps 😊 say it out loud ... Y'all invested $$$ 😮 Chris Hall and friends have been so engaged ✌️
Does it usually take this long to correct a recall. I'm new to Jeep and I find this so odd.
It's not terribly uncommon in the automotive world for recalls to take a while. Chrysler is having a similar issue with the Pacifica PHEV. It happens.

It won’t make a difference. Stellantis can’t afford to fix the issue. So it will remain unresolved
