- Almond milk is one of the most popular dairy free milk options out there but store bough almond milk can be filled with preservatives, flavorings and other nasty additives. Some brands even only use 2% almonds when making almond milk! That is why your average store bough almond milk is so watery. Good news is, I have created the best creamy almond milk recipe that will send the store brands running for their money! Take back control of the creaminess of your dairy free milk and try this recipe out.
Tip: This almond milk will more than likely separate while sitting in the fridge. It’s perfectly fine. Just give it a shake and you’re good to go!

do I have to peel the almonds
For a really creamy milk, yes. I tried other without pealing the almonds and it tasted a bit bitter as well.
Can a metal strainer do the job?
Unfortunately no. For a smooth, creamy nut milk, you’ll need a nut bag or if you don’t have that, you can take a clean cloth kitchen towel and use that. Investing in a cheese cloth is worth it though if you want to make more nut milk! 😄
