I had stage 3 CKD, weighed 326, had gout, high blood pressure, chronic pain and was 65 years old. Went full Keto with IF, in less than a year, I lost over 100 pounds, kidney function now normal, off all meds, no chronic pain, no gout for 4 years, feel great and am 70 now.

Singapore… Brief history, I lost my left kidney to renal cell carcinoma, I now suffer from stage 3 CDK, had frozen shoulder on both sides, gout flare ups in both big toes, terrible pain in both heals of my feet, diverticulitis, high blood sugar, dry eyes and multiple skin tags. After 8 month on keto, I went from mid to low level stage 3 CKD, no more diverticulitis flare-ups, go more gout, no more frozen shoulder events, normal blood sugar, dry eyes and foot pain went away, and skin tags have disappeared. I am now KETO/Carnivore for life!

I believe there are plenty like Dr. Berry. The problem is that they cannot speak up about many things due to they work for a medical corporation that tells them what they can and cannot recommend to their patients. As well as medical and malpractice insurance keeps them from doing what the doctor thinks is best. It is the doctors that are independent that can come forth with the non conventional type medical advise and care.

I think it is especially important to have an extra measure of grace for people who disagree with us about low carb. Remember, they have been lied to for decades by authorities who are using information based on bad science or lies paid for by Big Food. They don't realize that most doctors have little to no training in nutrition. I remember the first time I heard about carnivore a decade ago. I thought it was whack and these people must be nuts. People are skeptical and that is good. Carnivores make some pretty extraordinary claims. That requires some extraordinary evidence. People who have not done a careful review of the science or who have not heard the thousands of testimonials are simply ignorant of the truth about carnivore. Dr. Berry is a hero to me because he works so hard to educate all of us and he does it with patience and understanding. People who are ignorant of the benefits of a proper human diet just need to be educated. They are not the enemy. They are just victims of the nutritional misinformation that permeates our society. As someone who has benefited tremendously from the info provided by Dr. Berry and others, I feel an obligation to share my experience with others who might benefit as well. In the end, we all make our own choices and I respect that.

Very true. Most of the time, when something sounds too good to be true, it is not true. But a keto and carnivore diet work very well to eliminate or reduce the symptoms of many autoimmune diseases and diabetes. Beside, as most physicians who promote this diet say, start slow and slowly increase the amount of fatty meat and seafood in your diet and see how you feel. No one is compelled to stay on the diet if it does not work for them.

I am 63 and 4 months in to Carnivore, with 88 lbs still to lose, but starting to feel relief from 3 years of brain fog, much better energy and stamina. Still have fibromyalgia/inflammation in hands and feet, rest of joints are feeling better, plus, zero allergies this spring. Amazing. I'll be having labs in a couple of months and looking for my A1c to be down from the edge, high blood pressure down, and less pain meds. I want everyone to know about carnivore but I sure get a lot of pushback, even from my pre-med daughter who has watched what I'm doing but has already absorbed the standard dietitians directions from college professors. At least she no longer is flirting with vegetarianism. I have faith I will feel fabulous again and just keep enjoying eating the food I love. Grateful. Dr. Berry, your kindness and patience with answering questions over and over are seen and appreciated, especially these days. Thx.

I'm 65 and I'm part of Dr. Berry's Carnivore group. I have come back from massive inflammation. Diagnosed with cancer, Covid Longhaulers in the ER. Went to keto first, clean keto. No grains, oils, processed faux foods, no alcohol, no suger, no fruit. Went to carnivore and high fat at the 5 months mark. I had to drop dairy before my terrible joint and muscle pain finally backed off. I still use butter and ghee. I never ever thought my lifetime miserable allergies would disappear. Off all my meds for a year now, except for my Armour thyroid which has been reduced 50%. I ate as much meat as I could stuff in in one or two meals a day. Starting walking and slowly built up from 50 feet to 8 miles of rough trails. Beef, butter, bacon and egg yolks. Stay the course!

Yes, they may be brainwashed, but not all brainwashed physicians have anger control issues. And some decent doctors who care about their patients will not be happy if they are convinced that the keto diet is not healthy.

Took me about a yr to bring my A1C down from 9.5 to 5.6. now at 2 yrs in, my A1C is between 5.1 and 5.2. i had to keep my carbs 10g or under. Could NOT use artifial sweetners at all and no longer even crave anything sweet. Mostly carnivore now. Only eat an occasional salad or veg if we go out to eat. Age 64, lost 80 lbs and off all meds except small dose of levothyroxine (down from 325 mcg to 25 mcg.) Feel anazing and hiking with my 24 yr old for first tkme in my life 😊

Today I cooked up 1lb of ground sirloin and made into meatballs today.. omg they were really great & I'm gonna start making them as snacks ..like bacon chips and fried cheese patties

How do make fried cheese patties? All I get is melted cheese in a glob.

    • @Zanniroxwell
      @Zanniroxwell ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@nancyhoskins197 take about 4 slices make sure pan is oiled well w/ olive oil or something healthy and I use cast iron.. not sure if makes a big difference.. anyways, get pan nice & hot, drop 4 slices stacked on top of one another. Once it starts crackling go ahead and turn down the stove to med low heat. Let that cook for a bit, but keep an eye on it.. LET IT BROWN on the edges before flipping.. you may have to turn the pan to make sure oil distributed even as it cooks and to make sure the edges are all getting golden.. don't be impatient! You gotta let it harden and brown a bit so med. low heat and let it cook. Like when you fry potatoes.. you put it on low & do something else for a bit so you're not tempted to flip too early. You can even turn it off if it's cast iron pan because it keeps cooking for a bit before it cools. Then, start getting the pan hot again right before you flip. Then flip! Do same w/ other side.
BEST WISHES FOR YOUR SUCCESS AS IT IS DELISH AND CRUNCHY :)

Doctor Berry, thank you for knowing sand advising correctly regarding Celexa. I tried for 21 years to get off, was on SSRIs for nearly 33 years, finally got off in 2019 Sept. It was a withdrawal from hell and am still in protracted withdrawal. I was completely nonfunctional… nonverbal… went down to 40 something kg ended up in hospital, there only suggestion was to go back on that shit. I was ten months off by that time.I did it alone and was someone who worked in drugs and alcohol for ten years. I am desperate to be free of lack of motivation and an awful lack of connection and depression. I am day four carnivore. I am hopeful this will work. Thank you… been watching you for a few years.

Sometimes people start this way of eating but keep having their processed foods and drinks because it’s hard to stop cold turkey. I think that’s when they have most of their issues not to mention they probably still take all those supplements to. 90days full carnivore has to be clean in order to know what’s what. I made that mistake 2 yrs ago when I first tried this. I’m 18months without hardly ever cheating and I have completely gotten rid of a lot of chronic issues. It takes time for those that had issues a long time

Most diets tout their ability to decrease inflammation, but only low carb diets deliver. Most of us develop varying degrees of osteoarthritis as we age on the American diet- pain on function that markedly resolves or disappears with a low carb diet. It's an eye opener.

💥Regarding Dr. Lustig’s comment…💥I saw that interview as well. He said that people on meat and fat ONLY diet tend to be healthier than others because it is our ancestral diet. (I tried to link the Interview clip below but I got removed).
Nonetheless, the interviewer asked about the Carnivore diet and Dr. Lustig stated that he’s generally agnostic on diet choice, as long as there’s no sugar or highly processed foods in the diet.
But he was unequivocal in pointing out that he agrees that the MEAT and FAT ONLY diet is an extremely healthy diet!!
I believe he is appealing to those who can’t eating on such a “novel” diet as carnivore and won’t even entertain letting go of their carb addictions. So he encourages people to at least get more on a Keto diet that restricts sugar and processed foods.
And I also believe that he’s legitimate in arguing that for those non-carnivores eating sh-t food, that fiber is mainly important for breaking intestinal material down to shorter chained carbs, etc., to offset the blood glucose spike in the digestive process.
So, in short, Lustig is pro meat and fat by saying, Meat Diet = GOOD!
🔥You Can Be Perfectly Healthy ONLY Eating fatty Meat🥩🔥
