Hi from Australia, Carnivore 3mths. 63yo male. Lost 40lbs, arthritis gone, ibs gone, gastric reflux gone, joint pain gone, prostate issues gone, depression gone, anxiety gone, sleep apnoea gone, mental health great, sleep better. Thank you so much for your guidance and support. I'm grateful and am enthusiastically spreading the word. Im exercising hard daily, haven't done that since my early military days. Not just stopping the clock, winding it backwards.
I’m an Aussie brother too. 54, lost 30kg (66lb). Sleep Apnea, depression (Major Depressive Disorder), Pre Diabetes, ALL medications, Cravings GONE thanks to Lion “diet” (more like a lifestyle to me). I still am a Chronic pain sufferer, but improvements have been made. I find daily “earthing/grounding” by going outside in bare feet hosing anything that grows is helping many aspects of my life as well (sleep, anxiety just a couple). It plus daily morning outdoor sun exposure are helping. Strict IT, including TV use is helping. I’ve only just started an exercise regimen again ever since my 8.5m fall of ladder in 2012. The future looks positive again. The struggle has/is worth it. I hope my testimony can help someone that is where I was.
In 1967 my parents took me to the doctor because I refused to eat vegetables. He asked if I ate meat. I said I love meat. He said then there's no problem. Now into my 60s I continue to be healthier than most and still don't eat vegetables.
A great thing with carnivore is my refrigerator is not packed with rotting food. I used to throw out so many uneaten spoiling vegetables. Now when I look in it has empty space. Though my freezer is full with meat 🥩🥓🍗
Went to jockey lot today and this 86 year old man ask my husband if I was his daughter.Made my day! I do carnivore mostly and I said well if you'd do it with me! My husband eats Sad! He's 69 and I'm 65 but must be the diet! 💞 Had to share!
I'm 75, ride a bike and do all the lawn care and storm damage on 10 acres and have been Ketovor for 3 years. When I eat, I usually make a 6 egg Frittata with a pound of 73/27 ground chuck and cruciferous veggies. Sometimes I just forget to even eat again for another day or two.
Toxic vegetables ?!? Come on now... In foods, extremism is as bad as it is in religion and politics. Did you already look into what the cruciferous vegetables contain ?@paulhailey2537
Hi, I'm from Australia. From the doctors I've seen, I would call them Butchers and/or drug pushers. It's nice to hear a doctor that actually wants you to be healthy ☺️🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Thank you Dr. Berry. I was told that a 7 was great and average for my age, by the medical group nutritionist! I was also told that I could consume up to 240 g of carbs a day on the diabetic diet the medical group was handing out. I complained to my doctor, who agreed with the nutrition dept. I'm telling you they want everyone on meds and consume whatever you want.
Doing this since July 24th, 2023 and have never felt better. MS symptoms and pain almost gone. Brain fog gone. Unreal how good I feel. The headache I've had for 8 years is gone and I honestly don't even know how not even one Dr I've seen has mentioned one word about adjusting what I eat. As an RN myself I'm pretty mad about the "nutrition facts" that have been touted throughout my education and career.
I watched the most recent documentary/movie on plant based diet this morning. And as an ex nurse/exercise physiologist/primal health coach, keto 9 years, now carnivore 131 days, I am sad to say it was well done and very convincing. (For those who don’t know better) I think however from my perspective their positive results were directly related to kicking processed foods and sugar. The long term effects of no fat at all however, which is what they are promoting (no animal products & no fats of any description) is frightening I find. And in Australia it’s currently 8:36 AM on Sunday morning. Lol 😂

From the beautiful Wimberley Valley, Texas. I'm a 78 yr. Old female. Had a widow maker heart attack, two stents in 2021. Was on Brilenta for one year. Family history of diabetes. Diagnosed in 2019. Over 8 A1C when diagnosed. Put on metformin and statins . Felt horrible. Rebeled from Docs this past January 2023 after watching your Chanel. Went on Proper Human diet..this past week, had A1C 5.5, off all meds, all blood work back to normal except LDL up to 275...I feel great and lost 30 lbs...thank you. You saved my life. Since I had a heart attack, is it ok to just keep on keeping on with carnivore ?
Hi from Australia, 63yo male. Carnivore 3mths. Kicked all my heart meds completely about 6 weeks in. (Previous heart attack/stents). I feel wonderful, exercising hard. My heart never gives trouble, never even feel it in my chest. My recovery times from exercising are remarkable. I went off my meds in a staggered stage listened to my body. Also, arthritis gone, and every other chronic illness I had. Good luck, and live on.
P.s. as to long term carnivore sustainability; there is a youtube video of a woman in canada who is an active cattle rancher; shes 82, been carnivore 65yrs. Awesome, i wish id found this earlier.
Congrats on weight loss.. glad you are feeling better.. God bless.. I love Wimberly... lived in Kerrville for a few years.. miss the beautiful hill country !!!! Keep up the good work.. 🙏🙏❤️

When Sherri and her Hubby explain to his doctor that he lowered his HbA1c with a keto or carnivore diet, they have to be prepared for the doctor saying that the diet will kill him with a heart attack because it raised his LDL-C. Many people find that their very low carb diet raises HDL-C, lowers triglycerides, and raises LDL-C. That was what my doctor told me when he saw my lipid lab results. I had to teach him about the difference between small dense LDL particles and large buoyant LDL, and that the ratio of trigs/HDL-C is an indicator of which type you have. Triglycerides/HDL-C ratio < 2 (in American mg/dL units) indicates that the large buoyant LDL predominates, which is good. Large buoyant LDL is not atherogenic and isn't correlated with atherogenic cardiovascular disease. Small dense LDL is atherogenic and thus bad.
@@eringo-bragh4243 He listened but didn't have any response after I explained that his concern about my LDL being 140 doesn't bother me because my TG/HDL ratio indicates I have pattern A (large LDL particles predominating over the small LDL particles). I don't know if he understands what pattern A and B are. I don't consider him a keto doctor -- when I asked him what he considers to be the best diet he said "Mediterranean Diet" not a low-carb Mediterranean-type diet.
@@stanleysokolow I get you, I had a heart attack back in February and all the cardiologists want to blame Keto, even though it takes like 15 years to accumulate stuff for a blockage. If I recall Pattern A is not related to heart disease, while some are saying Pattern B is, but I haven't seen any research that links it to mortality. It took me 3 years before I got a decent TG/HDL ratio, but most docs are back in the stone age. After my heart attack, my cardiologist wanted me on a Mediterranean Diet as well, I sort of follow a Keto version though I'm still predominately meat based. The other issue is I'm back on a statin which I think is jacking up my sugar levels.
I have a friend who has significant heart disease. His wife, an RN, will only support an “everything in moderation” perspective. My remarks about eliminating sugar/carbs have caused the wife to think I’m foolish and arrogant. Help! Russ from The Colony, Texas!

Thank you for this information… my husband and I are working into the meat diet to keep healthy and feel better. We are in the mid 70’s but don’t think it’s too late. We moved out of the city to mid WA. Out in the country to a rural area. Good for us plus the beautiful fields and forests to enjoy.
When I was pregnant w twins, after a long. Infertility ride, all I wanted was meat & potatoes. No icecream, sweets, goodies, just meat & potatoes. So even though my twins were preemies, they needed no medical intervention just grow, maintain they’re body temp & be able to suck & swallow without their heart rate going down. They were perfect, no health complications just small, and I attribute that to what I ate
Yesss!!!! It's never too late!!! Small movements, slow, repeat until you can do more!! If you're on this side of the dirt, there is hope! Positive change CAN be made! I would add a daily 20-30 minute breath protocol to the stairs/toilet/getting up routine! Great advice and grace for those in chronic pain/obese. I am a massage therapist and have many obese/chronic pain/older clients that see great change with the simple things.❤
Hi from Qld Australia. Type 2 diabetes 6 years was sick of feeling sick, carnivore 3 to 4 months 89kg now 81kg. Off all meds feeling great. It's 9:20 sunday morning here
Hello from Adelaide, im 63, was 120kg, now 100 after 3mths. Kicked statins and heart meds. Exercising. Arthritis gone, ibs gone, gastric reflux gone, depression gone, anxiety gone, prostate issues gone, wow. Who knew.
Thank you for explaining the Carnivore diet /keto which I started 2 weeks ago . 7 years on vegetarian diet now at 73 I now have the beginnings of osteoporosis. Broke my femur had 4 pins put in 18 months ago then 8 months ago Broke my wrist , I have put it down to the diet I was on, decreased my bone density . Although found it hard to totaly go carnivore keeping to low carbs/keto . Not taking the prescribed medication but taking supplements. Hopefully all will improve. Thank you for making common sense of the carnivore diet . Spain 😊
Here in Fernley, NV. I am going on 2nd month carnivore and I am feeling wonderful. I am staying off the scale but my clothes are starting to fall off again. 1 yr keto 13th month I went carnivore challenge. I'm not going back. It has changed my life. Over 110lbs lost now!
Hi, also in Adelaide. Incredible how us no nothings can work this out, but our doctors are clueless. Ive got the couple who run our local post office doing it now. The enthusiasm is contagious.
Dr. Barry I appreciate your speech on little creatures that you have made it home for on your land and would appreciate you including this message in further videos. Thank You!
This was a great question and answer video! Between you and Neisha, Dr. Chaffee, Dr. Baker and the other TH-cam influencers, my health has improved in amazing ways. It's been slow going for me, but now that I'm losing the craving for sugar I am more successful with carnivore. Thank you for all your videos. They do make a difference. It's been an answer to prayers.
Hi, how slow going? I ask because it’s been slow going for me as far as feeling better , depression and several other issues. Seems like everyone who posts has amazingly fast results. It’s been over seven months. Thanks 😊
@beingbenign2685 It's been several months for me because I wasn't really invested. It was hard to give up the sweets. It would have a sweet here and there thinking that I have cut down on my intake, so that will be good. That smaller amount of sugar kept the inflammation going and caused me to stall on weight loss. Getting off of carbs 100% is making a huge difference. Also, cutting out stevia made a difference. Zero sweeteners. I have one more thing to get rid of, and that is heavy cream.
@@Scoop2341 i understand. I’ve been pretty good but did heavy cream until a month ago, aside from mustard (non sweetened) and Louisiana hot sauce. I’ve been pretty strict carnivore. Now and then the hidden freezer cheese tempts me. I’m just very impatient with this fatigue/depression… and although I’m happy for all the people with amazing success stories, it hurts to keep waiting for mine. Good luck to you!
I made Neisha’s chicken nugget recipe today, & I must say that they were delicious!!!!! My 7yo like them as well, I had no trouble getting her to eat them.
My 58 year old, type 2 diabetic hubby just came off ALL his diabetic drugs after 4 mos. On keto!!!! His bp is lowered , lost weight and working toward carnivore! THANK YOU DR BERRY AND NEISHA!!! Oh and our Drs in Oregon for the most part are on board with ketovore diet lifestyle!
Hi doc, ive done a lot of reading lately regarding cholesterol, and im beggining to believe that most neurological disease and illness is related to diet, and that a carnivore diet can relieve/ reverse most of it. Also think that there is no such thing as autoimmune disease, only autoimmune reactions to things that irritate the body.

Yes, the anxiety was interesting. Went to a breakfast buffet and ate a bite of a friend’s cinnamon roll and a bite of his French toast. JUST A BITE. That night the anxiety was overwhelming! Thank you for this information… my husband and I are working into the meat diet to keep healthy and feel better. We are in the mid 70’s but don’t think it’s too late. We moved out of the city to mid WA. Out in the country to a rural area. Good for us plus the beautiful fields and forests to enjoy.
Watch every week from Japan! Working hard for the last 10 months on carnivore. Dr. Berry has changed my life.
Watching from Magnolia, Ohio. You have saved many of our lives so just accept the thanks! We love you to pieces!!
Finally! A carnivore neighbor! Hi. I'm in Amsterdam, ohio

Although found it hard to totaly go carnivore keeping to low carbs/keto . Not taking the prescribed medication but taking supplements. Hopefully all will improve. Thank you for making common sense of the carnivore diet . Spain 😊

Carnivore saves lives.
Hi, also in Adelaide. Incredible how us no nothings can work this out, but our doctors are clueless. Ive got the couple who run our local post office doing it now. The enthusiasm is contagious.
@@johnallen7367 I just started about month ago after doing ketovore for about 6 months!
Do you do organ meats?
Cheers
@@lesg5260 no. I cant quite get there. Bit like sardines, cant get past the look............
@@beingbenign2685 have you had your labs drawn?
Powerful messages tonight.Thank you, Dr. Berry!
Started sugar free white carb free in Jan, keto in April. 52 lbs down. Spikes of 400+ blood sugars, at 140s now and working down since April.
You’re the BEST, Dr. Berry.
Love everything you say 😊 Also so happy to see so many people from Australia watching..
We should have a MEAT UP over here!!
Was watching an old video of yours today and you are turning back time!
I've watched many times but I've got to say tonight was especially good. Thanks so much Dr. Berry.
Please, talk about Barrett’s esophagus, multiple sclerosis, Ménière’s disease; and how phd can help. These affects me, Barrett’s and brochiectasis) and the others my brother and son. I would love to see you do a TH-cam video on these particular subjects thank you.
This has been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself!

the best Q&A ever ! Thanks Dr Berry
You look so healthy Dr Berry and your daughter is adorable. I‘m a 61 year old Dutch woman doing carnivore. Lost about 7 kg. Doing it for general and mental health. My son said I‘m glowing and I feel much less anxious, less foggy and am more active. Thank you for doing a great job! Thinking about starting a TH-cam channel…
Yes, the anxiety was interesting. Went to a breakfast buffet and ate a bite of a friend’s cinnamon roll and a bite of his French toast. JUST A BITE. That night the anxiety was overwhelming! I cannot eat wheat. An occasional scoop of ice cream (kiddie size) does not give me anxiety-just diarrhea LOL…it was the wheat for me.
@@barblacy619 Fortunately I can handle ice-cream, but only have it as an occasional treat. However, it gives me a weird aftertaste nowadays.
@@marijkepeereboom6442 me too! And coats my teeth. Weird how we change our tastes with proper nutrition 🥓🍳🧈🥩

Hello from Northern California, thank you for your efforts.
Hi there. Started my carnivore journey today. Have a few issues going on and can’t wait to see the changes. Thank you so much for all of your information!! So grateful!! 🙏🏼
Watching Dr.Berry's livestream from yesterday. His response to Sherri Cervantes was brutal, absolutely savage! Love it, wish someone had told me that years ago instead of portion control, add some color to your plate and the other crap I was fed.
You should totally make a Carnivore Deal-A-Meal plan !!!!! 😂
Lol!!!!
Hi doc, I also just became carnivore to deal with my gut problems, I'm feeling better already 😊
Hi Dr.Berry from Kansas. Recently learned from my local lab that no more fasting for cholesterol checks (and most labs as well). Not sure if other labs are practicing this or not…just wanted to mention. Recent Carnivore convert-doing 90 day challenge to reverse insulin resistance. 3weeks in. What you preach makes sense. Can’t wait for my next physical in Feb ❤
Words cannot express my appreciation for what you preach! You have changed so many lives in our family and Friends! Thank you for your wisdom!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Watching from Hungary today. Sad that beef is very expensive here, chicken and pork seem to be the standard meats. I miss me a ribeye!

I’m just starting carnivore. Already done Keto for like 4 months and lost about 40 lbs. on top of the weight loss, felt so so much better. It’s a big list on what had improved. I can only imagine how much better things will be eliminating certain low carb things I was eating.
