Part of me wishes that this game had romances (To give Atris a better ending mainly). But i also know that the game would not have been has good with that in it. Can't have your cake and eat it to i guess
Atris was the only Jedi council member left standing at the end, because she was the only one who deserved it. It took her some time, but she looked past her years of hatred, contempt, and malice and found forgiveness for the exile. Neither Kavar, Zez Kai El, or Vrook(no surprise there) found forgiveness for the exile. In fact, they wanted to de-force and exile him AGAIN, having clearly learned nothing the first time. They got what was coming to them. Atris spoke the truth. She truly was the last of the Jedi.
And then if Kotor 3 came out the True Ancient Sith Lords would have already taken care those Jedi Masters for good due to their demeanor and depictions. It would seem only Jedi with a extreme resistance to the Dark Side has a chance of standing against the Ancient True Sith who were planned in Kotor 3. But even then it would have been extremely difficult for even the Exile was supposed to flee from them in the beginning despite beating Nihilus, Sion, and Kreia and gaining so much strength in Kotor 2.
I like to imagine Atris would have played some kind of role in Kotor 3 had it come out as the storyline and plot threads were already considered and conceptualized. The True Ancient Sith would have been the ultimate powerful threat and a very subversive one to conquer the Jedi as Revan was afraid of them and knew what they were planning after the Mandalorian wars.
In the Restored Content Mod, there's a bit of a reason why she asked for his exile... and you're not going to believe who really wanted your character's exile.
Jedi are not known for being able to detect the darkside even when it's right in front of them. Hell, their own temple had a sith shrine they forgot about.
@@Spartan3D213 and in their arrogance they thought by building their temple on top of the sith Temple they could potentially 'purify' the sith Temples power
@shadowbeast2276 reminds of the tale of the man who killed a snake by stepping on it, but one of its fangs was stuck under his boots and had poisoned his decendants throughout the years.
The Kotor 3 True Ancient Sith Lords would have been alot worse then the boot leg Sith we got in Swtor. Almost godlike Sith whose Force powers can create nebulas and move stars. The ultimate monsters both great in power and subversive in influence to conquer the Republic and turn all the Jedi. Which is why Revan was extremely afraid of them and wanted to convert the Republic's culture under his leadership to resist the threat that was coming. It sounds like these True Ancient Sith were going to be the greatest of them all that could possibly exist. Especially with the Kotor 3 game starting with the Exile and HK-47 damaged on the run from them.
@thorshammer7883 would've loved that. Making them a real nightmarish threat, I think another commenter who takes about kotor3 would've compared it to Babylon 5 or something like it.

It does have romances, just with companions only I believe.

Ah yes, my wife.
i remember romances in KOTOR 1.honestly i remember really Liking the sequel but i dont remember much of it
They had plenty of TIME. But did nothing.
They might have sensed the dark sides hand in the war, but you need to deal with the immediate threat.
