I think one of the things I liked most about Elara’s romance is how by showing her you trust her, you allow her to just be herself and relax. No being the defector or the intelligence asset, just being Elara. Most of the questions the trooper asks her are about more personal stuff, like family. Casual conversation. I always choose Elara over Aric to be promoted whenever I’m playing a trooper (unless I’m romancing Aric)
Elara is way better choice for the Lieutenant imo. Not just because of the things you mentioned BUT I think every thing should have the emotional leader - the idealist that can charm people to follow him to hell and make people who lost hope suddenly excited and able to fight (which is the Trooper) and then you gotta have the "beaurocratic, office, function" right hand that deals with the boring but necessary stuff like laws and regulations. Also, she is a medic that very often comes with me because when we go anywhere, there are usually injured people that need treatment. She also has good morals and actually is able to voice opinions AKA she can also be "the right hand who questions the leader" really well and I can rely on her to keep me grounded. The fact she is a kind woman who is intelligent, beautiful and the one person I trust would never backstab me is just a plus.
It's kinda crazy how many different voices I've noticed in this game. I've been playing Jedi Guardian and I've noticed Kira Carsen is voiced by Laura Bailey who also voices Serana in Skyrim and Jaina in WoW. Republic female trooper is voiced by Jennifer Hale who does female shepard in mass effect.
Say what you want about SWTOR (and there's plenty to say), but at least the waifus are quality (give or take a few of the odd dialogue inconsistencies)

Pretty sure you can talk about having kids with Jaesa. It mainly appears if she's still lightside, and that having kids would be beneficial for the future.
@@donaldvuong4188 Dark side Jaesa more does it because she can feel her emotions now and can see the sith-like potential a child between them can have. Light side Jaesa more sees it as her duty to birth a child that could possibly be really beneficial for the future, for the whole galaxy.
Her romance seems really quirky, because in my playthrough anyway I only had 2 conversations with a flirt option. The ones as soon as she's on board the ship. But I didn't flirt with her since I was playing with Jaxo at the time. And then there was never a flirt option ever again. Even now that I've finished chapter 3. So I'm sitting here wondering how I can trigger that again. Can't seem to find a way, even though every conversation choice has always said "Elara Dorne Approves" or "Greatly approves". I've never had one that said she disproves. And her affection level with me is 24 now and still nothing.
@@JD-Media Quinn is not really a bad person. It's just, that he only thinks in logic and numbers. He doesn't feel joy in killing or torturing but he will do what gets the job done most efficiently. He basically thinks like a droid. He will kill imperials if he thinks, they are harmful to the empire and will spare republic soldiers if there is a benefit to it. He even approves, sparing the republic squad to have them assist you against Rathari. He's a great tactician and always acts the way, that is most beneficial for the empire. People just dislike him because he lacks compassion, emotion and does not really feel that....human

What's crazy is when I started playing SWTOR in 2015, I noticed Elara sounded a lot like Karliah from Skyrim. Lo and Behold, Moira Quirk voiced both

I don't know man. Quinn doesn't have the same/similar ethic code as her. He approves if you kill Jaesa's parents.
Elara at her core is a good person which is why she defected, if she stayed she wouldn't have gotten along with Quinn who is a typical Imperial.
