BOUGHT A NEW 2022 KAWASAKI NINJA ZX6R FOR MY FIRST MOTORCYCLE, AND I ALMOST DROPPED IT! FIRST RIDE

This was my experience with buying my first motorcycle, and riding it home alone from the dealership. I’m not going to lie, this was a very intimidating experience and I thought I’d share it with the world for anyone thinking about doing the same. It’s a 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R (636), and I love everything about it.
I almost dropped it too. This is my first ride on a motorcycle ever, outside of the MSF course. I changed my underwear as soon as I got home, but this was all a humbling experience.
For those of you looking into grabbing a Supersport as your first motorcycle, here’s what I learned from this experience.
1. Respect the bike. The throttle and overall feel of the bike is very different than what you learn on during the MSF course. Supersports are generally much heavier, have way more power, and have a very aggressive seating position.
2. Take your time. You’ll see that I got to know the clutch a little and sat on it before taking off. Spend an hour at the dealership if you need. Just enjoy the moment and don’t rush it.
3. Relax. It’s nerve racking but if I can do it, so can you!!!
