Helpful video. Thank you.
@@rmgf1005 glad I could help. Appreciate your comment
thx so much
@@jnbennett6496 you’re welcome 👍
Small update on step number 2. After I installed few more 3rd party airports and added those into community folder, I then searched for them in the game as shown in the video, but I was unable to find these. However, they still did work perfectly fine, when I tested it. So basically, if you put any 3rd party addon into correct community folder as explained in the first part of my video, then you should be able to access those in the game and everything should display without any issues. I just wanted to update you about this little detail
I did this but with a plane and am unable to find it. Even confirmed it was 2024 compatible beforehand. Any suggestions?
@ that’s good question. I have to test it with 3rd party plane and I report back. Thanks for the question and your comment
@@RobAirepicflights I think it was on my end, apologies. I can’t remember exactly what it was but I had something misconfigured and I later found it in my library. But if you can replicate the issue you described and still answer my original question, that’d probably be super helpful as well. Just in case.
Edit: One airplane I installed did NOT appear in the library but DID appear in the free flight aircraft selection.
@ ok great. Thanks for letting me know. I will definitely revisit this subject again
Where is exact location to find this?
Oh God I hope this is not how we manage our community addons.....with no organizational structure at all....just a big, long messy list...please God no!!
@@andrewjamez yeah I hope this will be improved.
What is the most common comment on any msfs24 site TH-cam or otherwise is “ must be a bug”. This supposedly new sim is a disaster period. They all should be ashamed for putting this out in such a messy state and charging exorbitant money. Why should we have to go into sub layers and amend lines?
@@j_london9791 thank you for your comment and I fully agree with you. This is definitely not necessary for us to fiddle with all the system settings with such difficulty
Buy an XBox. No worries about community folders, no system management. Time enough to fly.
@@caskraker nah, not a fan of console. In fact, I have series X but my kids play games on it. I am PC guy. Thanks for your comment
