In my high school daze (early 1970s) an older neighbor had a Coronet 440 in this same gorgeous metallic blue. I've loved that body style ever since. 😎👍 Nice about these thirty/forty year old kits - they don't go bad (except maybe the decals). 😊
I remember the first time I saw a 69 Super Bee with the Ramcharger hood and the 440 emblems on the sides of the scoops! I wanted to add the scoops to my 71 Fury wagon.
Some very cool Super Bee kits. I remember seeing these guys running around on the street when they were brand new cars. Yea, I'm old. Thank you for sharing these with us.
I built the 2020 release of this kit a few years ago. It is an absolutely wonderful kit to build. It almost assembled itself. Nice look at the aftermarket parts that are available. I’ve got to get a set of those side vents, and door handles. Very nice builds of the Super Bee. Thanks for sharing.
Great kit reviews of both the older Monogram Dodge Super Bee and the newer Monogram/Revell Dodge Super Bee, Raoul. The last Dodge Super Bee I saw was pained High Impact F6 Bright Green Metallic a couple of years ago ago at Wheels Of Yesteryear in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I remember build the Super Glow kits when they came out, Turtle wax and all. Your built ups look great. It looks like your future plans are gonna be awesome with those Fireball products. That stuff is great. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent review of the kits. I think I’ll get another 2in1. I snag the Mopars every time I see a deal. Great info on SB decal being backwards. I wouldn’t have caught it. Joseph @ Fireball Modelworks has great Mopar parts. Being a Patreon, he just put out his 3D file for the A12 pkg. extremely detailed manifold and carbs. I appreciate that you always bring us builds, future builds and most of all your muscle car era knowledge. 👍👍
I might be wrong but I think you showed your blue one on here before cause I think I remember you talking about the decals how only the new kit has the passenger side bee facing the right way been a while but I think so I need to get another one of these kits at some point I built the newer one did it Rallye Green and put the 68 coronet convertible Gonnella perfomance decal on the doors and cut off the 440 magnum part on the super stock decals and put them on the fenders and I left it the A12 car but I used wide drag slicks from I think the 55 bel air gasser and I had enough slot mags to make a matching set for it and I did the driveshaft black and yellow stripes and did the torsion bars etc yellow as well and I had 2 of the yellow rectangle scat pack decals so I put them on the bottom of the quarter glasses I’m gonna use the centerlines it came with on my AMT 70 challenger and belive it or not they fit the revell 68 charger tires better than any others I had setting around and I got another amt old pro nova kit and I’m gonna use all the rear suspension lift on the challenger too
Great video, I have the release from 1983, that I have not built yet, but with he re-release of the Roadrunner kit, I’ve been itching to build them it now. I will definitely be checking out Fireball Model Works when I do start it, and may have to pick up the re-release just for the decals.
Monogram did such a good job on it but it seemed too big next to my other kits There was a version that came out with torque thrust wheels that were nice

Love that kit so much everytime they repackage it I buy more so there's a corner of my stash dedicated to that super bee..😊 since 1990
Very cool! It's a nice one!
I always liked that kit. Even with the flaws. It does build up nice. You made them just fine.
Thank you!

Thank you! Thats a cool combo with the black out hood!
Great kit..I remember when monogram was coming out with all the muscle cars..the 64 gto got me hooked on them
Thanks! I started one of those 64 GTO's It's here somewhere..
@@TheMuscleCarModeler a really great kit .. probably one of monograms best
As always, great details and nice adds to the stash! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Raoul The Post Cars Were Sedans/Coupe Not Hardtops I Had One Of Each In High School as Roadrunner RM21 _& RM23 VIN
I knew that but drew a blank during filming. You probably noticed the hesitation! Lol!
Nice info 😎
Thanks ✌️
@@TheMuscleCarModeler your welcome 😁

I need to get another one of these kits at some point
I built the newer one did it Rallye Green and put the 68 coronet convertible Gonnella perfomance decal on the doors and cut off the 440 magnum part on the super stock decals and put them on the fenders and I left it the A12 car but I used wide drag slicks from I think the 55 bel air gasser and I had enough slot mags to make a matching set for it and I did the driveshaft black and yellow stripes and did the torsion bars etc yellow as well and I had 2 of the yellow rectangle scat pack decals so I put them on the bottom of the quarter glasses
I’m gonna use the centerlines it came with on my AMT 70 challenger and belive it or not they fit the revell 68 charger tires better than any others I had setting around and I got another amt old pro nova kit and I’m gonna use all the rear suspension lift on the challenger too
I did look and see my old video where I showed both builds. I thought I only showed the yellow one but the video is from 2021.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler I’m surprised it’s been that long cause I got the kit like a couple months after you made that video
These are really enjoyable videos … thanks so much for making them.
Thank you!
Very cool kits. Thanks for showing them👍
No problem 👍
Awesome comparison Raoul! I bought two of the re-pop to do both versions. I'm going to have to get those scoops from fireball! 🐝🐝😎👍
Thanks! Enjoy!

Very cool! I want to get another set of decals myself.
Monogram did such a good job on it but it seemed too big next to my other kits

It is a 1/24th kit and most are 1/25.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler I know it says that on the box but looking at it it looks more like 1/22
I always felt this kit needed fatter rear tires or even slicks
I like the custom wheels that came in the 70 GTX kit. Never really liked these thin tires.
Mopar or no car
You know it!
