New Gimmick! Darkino Effect-Turns a Pokemon into a certain type (usually dark) Also changes the looks (kinda like mega) only lasts 5-10 turns and they get a signature move of the same type they become (FYI- Like Dynamax Candies if you feed a Darki Snack to a pokemon it will last one more turn all pokemon that turn into a Darkino form starts lasting 5 turns until giving it a Darki snack) Wait this is better than Galactic forms... I MIGHT USE IT... UMMM... I'll just think of something else for my Manreign reigon
I'm not the biggest fan of Bug-types, but I absolutely ADORE the new mawwy. A bear-bug is so cute! The rhinoceros-beetle is also super cool!

Maybe the region could be called the Kaio region (Kay-oh) and the professor could be called: Professor Acacia, a d your rival could be called: Gavin or Gabby.

The final name for the bear-moths could be "Ursiapis", the combination between "Ursidae", the family that bears are in and "Apis", the scientific name for a honey bee. The name for the starter bear-bug thing could be "Smub", a combination between the word "Small" and the word "Cub". And for the hive-bear-bug thing could be "beastive", a mix between the words "Bear", "Beast", "Sticky" and "hive".
Great to see that you were able to work off those redesign concept ideas I had done as what you with the redesigns sure does look so cool and creative, really managing to take me by surprise with how creative you went with making the recreation of Mawwy and its evos have a full on honey theme, they also perfectly match along the Bug/Normal Type you gave them, I also find it really cool how you made the final stage be a wingless moth similar to Wormadam and Forretres, but taken to an extreme twist in a very fun appealing design
Also all the other redesigns here in this video are really cool, I quite like how you took Komala and gave it a regional that basically is the complete opposite of Komala that manages to work perfectly in the context of its origins

3:19 I honestly think it'd be better as a 2 stage..a cocoon only really works if they're metamorphosizing into something that looks very different (like a worm thing into a flying insect, vastly different things which is why they're a form between to separate them and how cocoons really work). Plus the middle form just looks out of place with the whole bearbug>honeyhive>bearbug.
Plus 2 stage lines can be super cool and it'll set it apart from the other bug line a bit more.
The end stage of the blackbird one could be called something like 'Vitalon' (emphasis on the second syllable), as a combination of 'VTOL' (Vertical Take-Off and Landing, since the type of aircraft on which it's based looks like it flies that way) and 'Talon'.
Raviate reminds me a lot of Headmaster Crane from Space Racers. No doubt my favourite line as an aviation and bird fan.
Really love Bearhive. The rest are pretty neat, but I think Bearhive stands out as one of my favorite Fakemon in general.
For the new Mawwy, how about “Warub?” From “wara wara,” the Japanese word for “creepy crawly,” and “cub.”

While the tregional bird mon isnt bad, the 2nd stage is a bit ridiculous. The third stage looks mad tho. Super cool!!

Holy crud, you knocked the mawwy redesign out of the park!! I was afraid the redesign would lose to original cuteness of the first stage (Ik Mawwy was a bad mon but I kinda forgave it because I'm a sucker for cute pokemon) which it kinda did but not really, but the concepts are great and I love how you connected it to Workibee.
One criticism I have though is what type would they be? Pun aside, they can't just be plain bug type. Maybe bug and normal? Idk, this is a pretty out there fakemon so I don't think normal suits it (especially since we already have a normal type bear pokemon). Another critique I have is that I'm not a huge fan of the honey arms/hands of the second stage, and I do feel like that could've been developed a BIT better, but really it's nothing big. I still really love this fakemon

The bioluminescence aspect of the original was tacked on, it had no real basis, so I scrapped it. Sorry for your loss :(

It's fine lol, it's not a huge annoyance so it's fine. And I mean yeah, the bear line couldn't really have any other type so I guess normal it is.
Also it's okay, I get why you didn't go anywhere with the bioluminescent aspect since I guess it is kinda tacked on. (It would make for a cool regional form tho 👀 maybe of one of the canon mushroom pokemon)

Maybe this region should be based off of New York with the statue of a Pokémon and some Pokémon that look like certain things that live in New York like wild hotdogs or chinook and coho salmon, American black bear, calliope hummingbird, and Northern screech owl
Names for the bear Pokemon 🐻
First stage Cubberiller = Cub, bear, caterpillar, ril meaning rest or love.
Second stage Silest = Silent, nest, rest
Final stage Masthney = Mama, moth, master, honey, and Amarillo meaning yellow in Spanish
For the rhino beetle
First stage Orvae = Larvae, orrszarvù meaning rhino in Hungarian
Second stage
Pointoon = Point, toon, and cacoon
Rougttle = Rough, beetle, rouge

Route 1 Pokémon simple but a pain to think of good designs my early bug was going to be a beetle but I thought what about a knitting themed Pokémon so I came up with Cardipillar Crocoon and Knittifly cardipillar and crocoon are named after cardigan and crochet a type knitting method while knittifly is based on a lunar moth as they have star and moon patterns that glow softly and I made them be a sort of nanny for newborns as it’s pretty evos when cardipillar evovle they shed the cardigan which can be used as a baby grow and crocoon’s legs poke out of the cocoon and they constantly knit to practice when they finally evovle to Knittifly

A new idea I thought of for your rhinoceros beetle fakemon would be that they are Bug/Ground type. We don't have many Bug/Ground types with the only ones being Nincada (A weak pre evolution) and Wormadam (A specific form of a bland and uninteresting bug type pokemon). The pre evolution and middle stage could be pure bug at the start but once it evolves into the Rhinoceros Beetle final evolution, it becomes part Ground type and creates tremors with it's many feet and digs into the ground easily with it's huge horn

For the region,I think you should call it the Cubile region,which is literally just bed in latin.
I laughed so hard at that Carkol pram. Made me want to do the whole line. Then I realised it'd be based on all my son's stuff. And since Thomas the tank engine is his favourite thing, the final evo would basically just be Thomas.
Super cool idea for that regional bug. It's like the most cuddly, least terrifying bugbear of all time.

Something based in ancient Antarctica, it wouldn't make sense but it's pokemon, maybe it could involve an alien race called the anunnaki which isn't something I came up with but it could also involve time travel
Honestly, when you were talking about the first stage of the bird being based off of a paper airplane, my immediate thought was maybe basing it off of a crane, because of origami cranes... and now I want that as a pokemon.
Either way, these are fantastic designs, great work!

How complicated do you think a Fakemon design concept should be? What makes a good concept?
My Pokemon tradition is to catch route 1 bug type and normal type and flying type Pokemon of the game, and I would definitely catch your route 1 pokemon

Name for the 3rd evo of for the first one could be:
Ursticae being a combo of ursidae (the scientific name for a bear) sticky (like honey) and decay (like the cocoon after it hatches)
One thing I would love to see you do with your albatross fakemon is combine it with Golf. The Albatross is a term used in Golf and when looking at baby Albatross, they kinda look like golf balls by being small, white and round. Having it be water flying makes the most sense since the albatross is a water bird however, since Golf is a sport that lets you do powerful swings at a ball by pulling your arms back and swinging fast, maybe the evolution could go from water/flying to water/fighting however it will still be a bird so maybe giving it levitate as an ability to make up for it not being a flying type makes the most sense

The final evolution for cubgrub could be called Hunniliath from (hunt, honey, and goliath) or ursecta (from ursa and insect)
I'd say the bear bug line should be called "mother" because it sounds like mother and bears usually stay with their cubs to guide them
maybe something like mothear? like moth + mother + bear. I think "Mother" would be confusing in conversation as its literally just the word without any silly misspelling.
The last evolution of the first bug should be called clawbee

Drop Bear is the biggest joke in Australia.
It’s a little complex, but for our full-grown bear how about Wearfull? It WEARS a beehive, it’s always WARY of what goes on around itself with its huge eyes, it’s a bEAR, and because of how much it probably eats to get so big and cute it’s always FULL. Also since it has to be related to a real insect somehow, how about we interpret that name as a bastardization of WEEVIL, another animal associated with living in/around trees.
