I am a licensed esthetician and just wanted to say that you did such a great job explaining what the ingredients does and the importance of exfoliation ect. Love it!
I have discovered a shocker in skin care recently. I was diagnosed with psoriasis which has appeared all over my body at the end of the year last year. My dermatologist started me on HUMIRA injections in January this year. I also researched and discovered CeraVe SA for bumpy skin to be used on my body. Between the injections and the cream, the psoriasis has finally started dissipating. A month ago my face started drying out. I am 68 years old and tend to have oily skin. I have been using a very expensive skin care the past year that has definitely improved my skin but comes with small quantities per order. In a desperate moment I decided to use the CeraVe cream on my face. I expected to feel smothered. Did not happen. My skin felt so soft and smooth the next morning and with no oily residue. I have decided that I am going to explore the other CeraVe skin products in the meantime. Hopefully I can use up the rest of the expensive skincare this summer and return to CeraVe for the fall and spend a lot less money with better results! I
Debbie Lenoir cerave is amazing the only downside is that they are not cruelty free! But I love the hydrating facial cleanser and the moisturizing cream, I am on accutane which dries skin out to the extreme and using the cerave moisturizer my skin isn’t so dry. It works really really well better than most high end I have tried
@Debbie just wanted to let you know, that Calendula oil is a wonderful miracle oil! It is not too oily, absorbs easily into the skin, helps inflammation, psoriasis, breakouts, heals rashes-scars- itchy skin, helps smooth skin/wrinkles, burns, and is antibacterial. Great to have in a first aid kit! I have used it for many years in my skincare routine giving my skin a healthy glow. It can also be found as a cream moisturizer. Just thought I would let you and others know as it can be budget friendly and the many uses it has. It has helped my mother as well with her past shingles around her forehead, which had been aggravating for her in causing itchiness. What her doctor prescribed for her wasn't working and this made a big difference!
kellie yes I’ve heard dr dray talk about vanicream but I thought they weren’t cruelty free so I never bought any. I’m still finishing up my cerave because the cream in the tub lasts a lifetime and I got it before I went Cf. But I’ll definitely look into it, it seems great for sensitive skin! Thank you so much
I have been using Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Nighttime Cream in place of the Drunk Elephant Protini. It has all the same peptides in it and it’s way more affordable.
I use the Rosehip Oil daily as well. My husband had some skin cancer on his forehead and had some surgery in February, and he has been using this on his 5-6" scar daily and it is almost not noticeable now.
Ah, I just turned 26 and I was telling my husband I feel like my skin needs some extra attention these days. It's not as young as it once was. This video is perfect timing! I love your videos, I don't have any older sisters and I honestly feel like when I watch your videos I am watching my older sister that I never had. Hope that doesn't sound crazy creepy but it's just the vibe I get when watching your channel. Hope you are staying well and safe, Jess!
I bought the Shea moisture pressed serum because you mentioned it but I’m oily and at first I hated it. However I’m the type of person who hates throwing things away so I kept using it to try and get some more bang for my buck, but less frequently, every other day only at night, and I swear nothing has been better for my dehydrated skin! I now love it!
Just an FYI, I read that you shouldn’t mix peptides with acids because peptides have an alkaline ph and the acidic ph in acids essentially combine to cancel on another out. I recently implemented a new routine where I use one in the morning and one at night and it has helped a lot!
Someone asked this at PC and got a different answer: "AHA is actually an excellent ingredient to use with our Peptide Booster since the different ingredients work together to promote new, healthier skin. We typically recommend to apply your products in this particular order: Cleanser, Toner, Exfoliant, Serum/Treatment, Moisturizer with SPF during the day and without SPF at night. Your AHA would be applied during the Exfoliant step, and your Peptide Booster would be applied during the Serum/Treatment step. Layering them is perfectly fine and there isn't any risk in doing so. If you have any further questions, we would love to consult with you! 1-800-831-4088, or via email at CustServ@PaulasChoice.com.
TL Wagener I think I might have found the article you meant. This is pretty convincing that an AHA and a peptide moisturizer are fine to be applied together. www.paulaschoice.com/expert-advice/skincare-advice/myths/the-ultimate-guide-to-ph-and-your-skin.html
Virginia O'Neill I used glycolic acid and a peptide serum the other night and my skin was on fire, red and angry so I’m not sure if everyone can use them together. In my research some say yes they can be used together and some say no bc of the ph levels of aha and peptides can potentially irritate the skin. It did for me so I’d say be careful and listen to your skin!
Jessica I am 65 yrs young and wanted to tell you a little somethin about my Paula's choice story. I read "Don't Go To The Makeup Counter Without Me" when I was much younger and it saved me a small fortune!!! She broke down all products and "proved" what you dont or do need to spend money on based on active ingredients and doing what they say. I have mixed feelings about her having her own line but it was probably the only "choice" she had. I will be trying some of the products you mentioned and wanted to shout out Paula Begoun!!
I am 46 so I needed a bit more help on the anti-aging front. So I am using Curology. I have a solid routine and just kinda mix brands in and out. I like to use a snail mucin serum after my spray on essence in the am followed by a vitamin c serum. Then I use a lightweight soothing gel as a moisturizer. Then I use some kind of spf. Koreans Japanese spf work much better for my sensitive skin then anything we get in the us. At night I use b5 and co q 10 serums. Followed by rose hip seed oil. Then I use my Curology. If I am dry feeling I use that Shea moisture serum you use. I love timeless serums. But most of my stuff is from YesStyle.
Is that the Cosrx snail mucin serum? That stuff is amazing. I just ordered the Purito snail serum and am excited to try it. Korean and Japanese sunscreens are so great - summers in Korea and Japan are very humid, so their sunscreens are made to work better in humid conditions and not get greasy or sweaty.
I've been wanting to try that shea moisure serum I'm so glad someone finally talked about it. Also that paulas choice bha liquid exfoliant is MY HOLY GRAIL. I use my hands to press it in, I have really bad clogged pores and nothing helps them but that.
Argan oil is great but Josie Maran is super overpriced - it's literally just argan oil without any special additives. The Ordinary does the exact same thing for under $10.
The Shea Moisture pressed serum works even better when you pick up the correct product and don't try to apply the Shea Moisture pressed hair serum to you face 😂🤦♀️
Love the Maelove The Glow Maker Antioxidant Serum, too! I find the Glow Maker actually gives really does what it is called and gives me a glow! Vitamin C serums are always compared to Skinceuticals CE Ferulic, which is considered the best. However, it is soooo expensive and never gave me a glow. Thanks for all your videos.
I absolutely love watching your videos and have told you this many times. I love that you give us different choices at a lower point. As much as I would love to purchase the more expensive ones it's not always an option for me. I am 46 years old and hav3 dry skin I definitely need these videos. This is the second time I have watched this video. I watch all your videos and came across one of your older ones that had your am/pm drugstore skin care and then I watched this one again to write them all down. I have some of these products already from your suggestions and I totally agree with your opinion. You have never steered me the wrong way. I live in Pittsburgh Pa and right now it's so cold here which means my skin is even dryer so having videos like these ones just really help. Even tho hounding him into moisturizer in this one what's under them really counts.
I love the tlc from drunk elephant but I actually switched it out for the farmacy honeymoon glow and I think I like that better and it’s about $30 cheaper it’s sooooooo good!!! I’ve seen such a difference!!
Amanda Christopher I’ve noticed a difference with both of them and they are both really good, I’m on my second bottle of the honeymoon glow and can see myself just repurchasing that because I get the same results and I think even better. And it’s cheaper. It’s just really good. It has a slight tingle when you first apply it but doesn’t hurt at all. The TLC isn’t sooo much better that I can justify spending the extra money when the honeymoon glow does just as well and I think may be even a little better. 😊 hope that helps!
Im on my second bottle of the Farmacy Honeyglow also and its my holy grail. Ive used both and you’re right. For a cheaper price you basically get the same results.
I just recently switched up my whole skincare routine. I’ve been loving Maelove’s glow serum as well as Paula’s Choice BHA. I’m definitely going to have to try out a rose hip seed oil.
Exactly what I needed! Been trying to revamp my skin care routine and include anti-aging products! Can’t wait to hear about your cleansers and moisturizers!
I actually have the opposite skin type to Jessica but I love the cervae foaming cleanser. That is my top gel cleanser ever. I have combination sensitive acne prone skin and oh boy this makes me skin feel so much better after I use it. It doesn’t feel dry or itchy and it is my favourite ever. I stopped using it for a week and I swear my skin was more red then normal.
Thank you thank you thank you for putting the prices on the screen 🙌🏼 I know it probably takes a bit longer for you but it is something I so appreciate. I think I’m going to try out the glowmaker serum when I run out of my current vitamin c serum, I always assumed it was expensive but it’s pretty affordable!
It's because of you that I'm going to try Maelove when my drunk elephant vitamin c serum runs out. ♥️ That stuff is SO expensive and I know I can trust you about the Maelove one.
I love that Paula's Choice sunscreen as well. I almost look better when I stop with it rather than add foundation. Paula's Choice also has good discounts on Facebook. I like this video
Megan Smith I was excited because the ingredients seem similar to korean cleansing balms that are very highlighly lauded, but I emailed milani and theirs is 1.6 oz for $14. Heimish all clean balm, which has the most amazing texture and rinses perfectly, is around the same price for 4 oz
I think that's a *lot* and a *lot* to spend on skincare. I just do the basics, and I'm extremely dry. Just my Nivea blue tin as a sealant (not even 4/5 euro), and I put all my "layers", such as hyaluronic serum, vitamin C serum underneath. The most expensive is my HA (and it's pure, you guys) and that is 8.99 euro from my local Aldi. It works for me. I get all my skincare at Aldi & Lidl. In Belgium they do awesome promotions (and yes I check my ingredients).
I’ve never tried Aldi brand skincare. I’ll have to check it out! Although our doesn’t seem to carry almost any! I love the ordinary for its low price tag and no frills type products. I know and trust that I can pick up a product that has the ingredient my skin loves, and it actually contains the product vs just stating it on the packaging! It’s cheap, so I enjoy trying out new products here and there and customizing my skincare for the day depending on how it’s looking/feeling.
Marleen G. do you not have problematic skin? Many dermatologists will tell you that most of the "cheaper" skincare is not formulated in a way that allows you to absorb the long term benefits. Thats not to say that your routine is bad, but there is a reason many people use multiple and sometimes expensive products. My skin will NOT tolerate most cheaper products because dimethicone clogs my pores like crazy and getting skincare without dimethicone is hard to find on cheaper products.
@@amandakesterson224 Funny, I don't know these "many dermatologists". I only know my own and he's absolutely fine with my skincare. Dimethicone is actually a very nice ingredient, but you might not be able to tolerate it, that doesn't make it "bad" for the rest of the world.
I finally bought that Shea moisture pressed serum after hearing you mention it in many videos. I tried it tonight for first time! I am so excited to try it out!!
Could you do a brief tutorial on putting together videos (planning them in particular). I teach domestic violence prevention and we are now unable to directly access the girls (too much chance of confidentiality being broken with Zoom) so we are starting to turn our usually 45 minute discussion classes into 10-12 minute TH-cam videos and we are struggling with not sounding like Mr Rogers (not that anything is wrong with Mr Rogers but it isnt really enticing for middle schoolers!) or being super cheesy with our one woman skits. Any advice would be amazing - I know you taught so you get the presentation to kids aspect too!
I LOVE Maelove's The Glowmaker but the one I love even more from them is their Niacinamide serum. It's called the NIA 10 Calming Serum and it's great for a lot of things from acne to texture to redness and I highly recommend putting some Niacinamide into anyone's routine.
I needed this video, and my tri-weekly dose of Jess! Working from home now AND taking care of my 6month old means I don't sleep and I've neglected my skin; it's ROUGH. I'll have to spoil myself for mother's day with one of these recommendations 😊 If you had to pick ONE above all else, what would it be?
I bought the Shea Moisture serum and I’m way too oily for it, so I use it to remove makeup and as a lip balm. When can we comment on Tyler’s videos? Feel kind of bad we can’t cheer him on.
I am a skin care fanatic and I loved this video. I'm currently mixing products from the ordinary brand and corean ones (purito, benton, mizon) and I feel this is the right combination for my skin
Being in my 40’s I like lots of moisture. I use the CeraVe gel oil over my first aid beauty toner. It’s give a good glow and softness and then apply the same Murad eye cream plus Murad daily perfecting cream. It has a good feel to it and wears well under make up plus the spf.
Love all those products I am using and that work. I am going on a no buy just to use what I got and so far I am loving in and remembering what I loved.
Love your videos Jessica and they are keeping me sane during this quarantine! I love Paula's Choice and have tried so many of the things that you recommend because I feel like you actually are unbiased in your reviews and recommend things you truly love. Thanks for being a bright spot in my week!
Long time favourite is definitely the Fresh Soy face cleanser. I've been using it for years, and every time I try something else, I go back to it. It's really gentle but effective at removing makeup. I also love most of Fresh's products, especially their masks and the new rose oil serum (makes my skin glowy and has lightened some redness and spots). Recently, I've become a fan of Garnier's rose micellar water as step one in my double cleanse, and Vichy's purete thermale perfecting toner (has minimal ingredients) before the rose oil serum. Derma-E acne spot treatment is good for targeted spots - if I use acids all over my skin it typically breaks out worse and gets really dry and irritated (I had a dry/combo and sensitive skin type). Hence why I don't use acid based toners or serums.
I thought you should only use the ole henriksen toner at night. Their website says use it at night...and I thought a lot of products with aha and bha should only be used at night and definitely an spf the morning after (should always wear spf but even more important with those ingredients). I'm trying to learn a bit more about my skincare to really get it down to the what works with good safe ingredients so figured I'd ask the question. Thanks
Jessica, I am CRACKING UP! I was having such a rough day today and I saw this video pop into my feed. I was SO excited because I LOVE your videos, and I LOVE skincare videos! If it's both, it's even better! So, I grab my hot chocolate and realize that I wanted this video to last longer than it did. So, I decided to listen to it in 0.75x slow motion! I am cracking up right now! (then again it is 1am). I just thought you and Tyler would get a good laugh out of my stupidity haha! Thank you for continuing to create such amazing content throughout these uncertain times and thank you for the good laugh! Much love to you and your family
I love that someone who is more of a make up influencer, is talking about skincare! Make up is amazing, but the actual health of your skin is so important! You should really check out Skincare By Hyram! He’s a skincare specialist and is so informative, and so entertaining to watch! His presence on TH-cam is really wonderful, as is your’s!
Hyram has no credentials or qualifications - he's not an expert and I think it's misleading for him to call himself a specialist when he has no actual professional experience in skincare. This is nothing personal against him, but he's an enthusiastic amateur and shouldn't call himself an expert when he's not. Skincare Addiction has found that some of his advice is actually incorrect.
I just ordered the 2% Paula's Choice in the black bottle yesterday bc of an advertisement. $23.00 and free shipping!! Plus Ole Henrickson is offering 2 free products today with a $25 purchase! Happy Mother's day Jessica! ❤
Question. Since you are using so many products that need to be swiped on with a cotton round or your reusable pad, are you using the same reusable pad or do you use multiple ones through all your steps? Where did you get those pads? How many do you use a week?
@@itsjessicabraun Cool thanks! I'll have to look into buying some. I'm using the cotton ones currently but I don't like how when soaked, they can leave behind cotton fibers on my face. It also cuts down on trash!
hey jess ! love this video from a fellow skincare nut, i just wanted to say that the ordinary peel is more of a dupe for the drunk elephant babyfacial rather than the TLC. i just recently came across the paula’s choice 8% AHA gel exfoliant and while i haven’t used it yet i would say it is a great start before diving into the TLC, the paula’s choice doesn’t have bha and only uses glycolic acid rather than a blend but again, i believe it would be a great start before splurging on the TLC (which btw i looooove)
Where I live we don't get much good affordable skincare, but this past year Cerave started selling some of their products here and I love them! the hydrating cleanser is my favorite, I had no idea I was over stripping my skin before that
I would love to know the order of application of the products... is that order you presented the items the order you put them on. People always say what products they use but not the order they apply them. I don’t know what order is best. Do you put the presses serum on after the Paul’s choice sunscreen???
I bought the Shea moisture pressed serum on her recommendation and I’ve been staring at it for a week. I am so afraid to use it on my acne prone skin. I need the moisture but I’m scaaaaared! I need one of the youtuber derms to tell me the ingredients are ok!
I recently ran out of my Beautycounter Countertime line and it was probably my most favorite skincare products I've ever used (and also the most expensive I've ever purchased!). I've been using some Derma E products most recently and really liking them. I also use a lot from a smaller clean beauty company called Root Pretty.
I like the Maelove love 31 oil but there are a couple of things that I noticed. I have been using it for 6 weeks and there was a learning curve. It has a very strong odor that smells floral musky. I kind of like the smell but I can’t put on any other scented ingredients because they clash. Secondly It pills on me. I have started using it after retinol by pressing it into the skin and it works fine. That’s the way Jessica just showed it being applied! I like it and will use it up but I’m not sure I would buy it again.
People think I'm like in my early 20's but I'm 37 will be 38 in July, I been into skin care since I was 15, I have to admit there was a period of my life I didn't care for my skin and had acne. I was introduced to a product by an Esthetician friend of mine, I was using for like 7 years it was $55, but was worth every penny it did reverse signs of aging, the Vitamin E product has been reformulated to a thinner formula and pineapple scent was added. The thicker yet not tacky consistency is what made it so unique. One of my best friends an I are very sad because it is no longer available, I found one similar and very inexpensive but can't find it instore or online anymore.
I'm so glad you're talking about Rosehip Oil. I've been using it for six years and it's so incredible for scar removal and cell turnover. Miranda Kerr turned me on to this in like 2014.
I just ordered the paulas choice 2% bha & can't wait to try it! I've been using the ole henriksen toner as well & can't believe the difference it has made already! I'm honestly just now trying to get into a good skin care routine but I've really been enjoying the Murad retinol youth renewal serums & night cream & my fav daytime moisturizers r the it cosmetics confidence in an eye cream & confidence in a moisturizer. The it cosmetics confidence in a cleanser has been amazing too!
Jess!!! I dont think you've seen my last comment about the Ole Hendrickson toner but it is SPECIFICALLY for nighttime use only. 🙏 it can damage your skin when exposed to sunlight. I hope you see this 😭❤ ofc you can use it how you like but when it comes to the strong ingredients in that toner, its very important to yield the warnings.
Yes! Have been using rosehip oil for years and the few times I stop using it my skin dries out within a few days. Love the Trilogy one although I now buy a local organic one as well.
I feel like my skin type is similar enough to yours that many of the skincare/base products that you recommend work well for me. My skin is dry and sensitive, and the SheaMoisture pressed serum and the Misha BB Cream both work for me. I use the Paula's Choice sunscreen you mentioned every day and my skin loves it! Now I'm going to have to try the Paula’s Choice Liquid Exfoliant, since both you and Taylor Wynn recommend it... :-)
Thanks for doing this video. Your skin has been looking glowy and amazing recently and I’ve been curious as to what you’ve been using. Love your channel - always makes me 😊🇨🇦
CeraVe is my go to! If you have not watched Dr. Dray you must! She’s a dermatologist is Texas and I’m so glad I found her! I stopped spending ridiculous amounts of money on skincare and just use what works. She will have a video on anything you could possibly want to know.
I’m also turning 31 this year and such a skincare junky. My biggest regret was tanning so much and not using SPF when I was younger. Things have changed so much over the years! We used to use tanning beds, rough physical exfoliants (St. Ives Apricot scrub anyone? 🙈), astringent toners to BURN off zits... things that are now considered skincare sins haha. Younger generations have such a leg up. Skincare has come a long way and education is right at our fingertips.
I tried the rosehip seed oil (a different, less expensive brand), and it worked wonders! I can't believe how much it helped in one night on pimples, rashes and scratches.
I was hoping to get the Ole Henriksen toner during the Sephora sale but it was sold out. I have a sample size and have really enjoyed it, I also love the Ole Henriksen smell.
Thank you, Jessica!! 💕 Such amazing skincare recommendations. I’m dying to try out Maelove! My favorite morning serums: OleHenriksen Truth Serum (vitamin c, collagen) and Peach & Lily Glass Skin (peptides, hydrating). For nighttime, I love the Paula’s Choice BHA that you mentioned. I also love the Ordinary’s Niacinamide (game changer for even skin tone and pores). For AHAs, I’ll use First Aid Beauty’s Facial Radiance pads (super good!). Take care!!🥰
Love Paulas choice! My favorite from the brand is the Azelic acid booster, this product really faded all my acne scarring. You introduced me to the sunscreen and it is the first one that doesn’t break me out!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
What a great video! I am almost out of my Timeless VitaminC serum and am debating trying out the Glow Maker instead... what to do, what to do!? I also use several PC products and love them. I also love my La Roche Posay Effaclar anti-aging serum... so very good!
So I was intrigued by the SheaMoisture mask, looked pretty good, so I looked it up! I love a good and affordable, hydrating (if fragrance free), mask. Unfortunately, this mask is a little deceiving; the “benefits” you’re getting or seeing are mostly just from the hydration from all the oils, mostly vegetable, olive oil (not so great), wax, castor oil, Shea butter., etc, but most of those are great! But the honey is far down on the ingredients list, the “yogurt extract” which is supposed to be the source of the lactic acid, is even farther down, and the “vitamin C” is “ascorbyl palmitate”, not L-ascorbic acid, which is the most potent and stable form of vitamin C, other forms are not as stable and especially not in a tub where it’s exposed to air. But this seems good for its hydrating oils! Besides a couple ingredients like the olive oil and coconut oil. Be careful with claims on packaging, read the ingredients first! A lot of companies put big claims on the packaging and then put the advertised ingredient so far down on the ingredient list that you’re not really getting much of it. That happened with a Boxycharm item I received recently, I read the ingredients, rolled my eyes and gave it away to a friend. Lol 😂
You are totally backwards on the vitamin C bit. You are correct that L ascorbic acid is the most potent form of vitamin C, but it is also the most UNstable. Light and water make it ineffective and it does not last long once exposed to the air. The vitamin C derivatives are more stable, but less potent. Look up Gothamista’s vitamin C videos, also Nadine Baggot for more detail.
given2dream given2dream i trusted someone on information regarding this, usually I do actual research on it and fact check it and I didn’t this time. 😂 The type of Vitamin C that is in this is a stable form, not the most stable but a stable form nonetheless. But it’s in jar packaging, that was my big gripe, so everytime you open it, you’re exposing it to air and making it less and and less effective. More info on vitamin C and the types to look out for in skincare. Good to know. Source www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3673383/#__ffn_sectitle
Hi Jessica! Love your recommendations and was wondering which eyebrow growing serum you use? I remember you mentioned it in a past video but I can’t find it.Your recommendations never disappoint!!
I have to have the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum! It’s super expensive...but worth the price to me! I went and tried another serum but my texture was back! I didn’t realize how much it helps my skin until I went without it!
Tyler’s editing on the cutting board had me dying laughing. Pleaseee keep the vlogs coming 💗💗💗💗
Another one coming this weekend!
I laughed so hard!! 😂❤❤
Oh that was so funny! I couldn’t stop laughing. Love this family!
@@itsjessicabraun "Editing Tyler" is my favorite. You could make a whole series out of that!
I watched the whole 13 or so minutes about board maintenance because after editing Tyler’s ramble I felt obliged too haha. I actually did learn some useful information so no regrets

Debbie Lenoir the Cerave Pm moisturizer is great. I love it!!
@@oliviakrya Have you tried the Vanicream brand. Cruelty free and inexpensive. I love Vanicream to treat my ezcema.
Jen P. Same ! I’ve been loving it too 🥰
Jen P. Been wanting to try this!!
Jen P. , thanks!
Same! I also like the texture a bit better honestly. I like how thick the Acure one is. I feel it locks everything in better.
Jen P. They used to make a nice facial scrub I loved. Wonder if they still make it 🧐
I use the Rosehip Oil daily as well. My husband had some skin cancer on his forehead and had some surgery in February, and he has been using this on his 5-6" scar daily and it is almost not noticeable now.
Karen Nicholson I love rosehip seed oil! Try The Ordinary-cold pressed; lovely and a fraction of the cost 🙂👍🏻
Ah, I just turned 26 and I was telling my husband I feel like my skin needs some extra attention these days. It's not as young as it once was. This video is perfect timing!

Hope you are staying well and safe, Jess!

Skincare is so, so important! I focus on skincare more than makeup because makeup looks so much better on nice skin.
I have been watching you for the last few years, and I have been able to tell that with your amped up spin care that your skin looks amazing. ☺️
Oops I mix my lactic acid with my peptides in the morning🤷🏻♀️. But I have seen nothing but good results on my skin.
That's what Dr Dray said too
Someone asked this at PC and got a different answer: "AHA is actually an excellent ingredient to use with our Peptide Booster since the different ingredients work together to promote new, healthier skin.
FINALLY! I've been admiring your skin lately!
I bought the Shea Moisture pressed serum because of you and it SAVED my dry skin over the winter! I’m in love 😍
I've been wanting to try that shea moisure serum I'm so glad someone finally talked about it. Also that paulas choice bha liquid exfoliant is MY HOLY GRAIL. I use my hands to press it in, I have really bad clogged pores and nothing helps them but that.
Hands down favorite skincare product is Josie Maran pure argan oil. It has totally changed the tone, texture and look of my skin. Love it!
Why is this something I would do 😂😂
on their website it says it's for face!
Definitely Maelove Glow Maker...even performance-wise it’s better than Skinceuticals CE Ferulic
I can totally tell your brows and lashes are growing! You look so beautiful with no makeup! ❤️
Have you tried the Ordinary Buffet peptide serum?
marina That serum saved my skin from a totally smashed skin barrier from overusing exfoliants
I have been having a rough day and then you upload a video Thank goodness!!!
I love the tlc from drunk elephant but I actually switched it out for the farmacy honeymoon glow and I think I like that better and it’s about $30 cheaper it’s sooooooo good!!! I’ve seen such a difference!!
Kristin F have you noticed any huge differences in the two?
Kristin F I love the Honeymoon Glow. I have recently started using it but the difference it makes to your skin is noticeable after the first use👍
Kristin F thanks for the tip! I LOVE my drunk elephant but its so expensive. I'll be sure to try this out!
I recently started adding Tula Pro-Glycolic 10% Resurfacing Toner to my routine and I love it. Makes my skin super smooth.
I can definitely see a difference in your skin and that glow of yours is amazingly!
I got the Maelove glowmaker because of your recommendation and loving it so far!
I like this video
susanmcf1 ohh that’s good to know!! I need to check out their Facebook page ☺️
So I was in the market for a vitamin c serum and I pulled the trigger today on the maelove through your link! Thanks for the rec!😁
Hey Jess, have you tried the new Milani makeup melting balm? I'm dying to know if it's good!
@@malcolm4444 you can also get a sample set of all the different Banila Clean It Zero balms on YesStyle, great for trying them out or for travel.
Yes yes yes!!!!!! I have lived in the states for 10 years and American women are just obsessed with "products"
Yes, that’s the thing I love about European skin care routines, they lean towards minimalism in terms of skin care, less susceptible to trends.
You can try the one from The Ordinary( Buffet) instead of the Paula’s Choice Peptide Booster. It's perfect! I really love it!!
You might try the moisturizer before the SPF, SPF is supposed to be the last step in your skin care routine so it can provide a shield against the sun
And...... watching the grass grow. I was laughing so hard. What a great sense of humor.
If anybody uses Rakuten they have 15% cash back on Paula's Choice BTW!!
Yup, I've got my notes ready to go on my phone. I have a feeling I'm gonna end up with a long list!
Just bought the Glowmaker today to try! Thanks for the great recommendations, your skin looks amazing!
Love the classic red nails on you and that shorter length looks great, too!!
Olay Regenerist Recovery Night Cream and Cerave PM, both are great and very affordable!!
Keep doing these videos! I get so much help and tips from them. I tried the paulas choice resist wrinkle defense thanks to you, and I love it!!! :D
I needed this video, and my tri-weekly dose of Jess! Working from home now AND taking care of my 6month old means I don't sleep and I've neglected my skin; it's ROUGH. I'll have to spoil myself for mother's day with one of these recommendations 😊
If you had to pick ONE above all else, what would it be?
I bought the Shea Moisture serum and I’m way too oily for it, so I use it to remove makeup and as a lip balm. When can we comment on Tyler’s videos? Feel kind of bad we can’t cheer him on.
I have oily skin and i put half a dime size at nighttime and when I wakeup in the morning my skin is nice and glowy. Sorry its didn't workout for you😔
I am a skin care fanatic and I loved this video. I'm currently mixing products from the ordinary brand and corean ones (purito, benton, mizon) and I feel this is the right combination for my skin
Jessica, you were the one who introduced me to Maelove glow serum. OMG....!!!!!! THE BEST VITAMIN c EVER. I am on my second/ third bottle :)
You’re the only you tuber that I never miss a video. And I love every video.
I think you’d enjoy some k-beauty skincare! Or the inkey list as well! Inkey list is super affordable and imo a step up from TO
I thought you should only use the ole henriksen toner at night.
I absolutely love Mae Love products. Olehenrickson dark spot toner breaks my skin out so I use it only on the dark spots but it does work.
Another great page is Penn Smith Skincare! She is soooo informative
Anybody on U tube can call themselves an expert
Yeah, he’s not a specialist...
Different ones! I throw them in a mesh bag in the laundry once a week! (So I go through 14 a week if that makes sense!)
Where I live we don't get much good affordable skincare, but this past year Cerave started selling some of their products here and I love them! the hydrating cleanser is my favorite, I had no idea I was over stripping my skin before that
Your skin always looks fantastic Jessica!
I also use a lot from a smaller clean beauty company called Root Pretty.
lynnctodd love beauty counter❣️✋🏼
I like the Maelove love 31 oil but there are a couple of things that I noticed. I have been using it for 6 weeks and there was a learning curve. It has a very strong odor that smells floral musky. I kind of like the smell but I can’t put on any other scented ingredients because they clash.
Secondly It pills on me. I have started using it after retinol by pressing it into the skin and it works fine. That’s the way Jessica just showed it being applied!
I like it and will use it up but I’m not sure I would buy it again.
Your skin looks great without makeup. I bought the Ole H toner and I like it a lot! Thanks
What’s the name of that product you used? What’s the similar product you found?
I'm so glad you're talking about Rosehip Oil. I've been using it for six years and it's so incredible for scar removal and cell turnover. Miranda Kerr turned me on to this in like 2014.
Thank you for doing a skin care video with no makeup and normal people lighting!!!!
I always use my rosehip oil before moisturizer, glad you said you can do either.
I love how you started lying about how many cups of coffee you've had🤣 Love from Australia
Christy Boyle I love the Azelaic Acid Booster too! Nothing else has faded my acne scars as much as it has.
I have been WAITING for this video!! Thank you! I’m literally buying everything. ❤️
Would love to see a current skincare routine and and an updated drugstore skincare/dupes video
I was just wishing you’d do a skincare video! Always love your recommendations. I’ve been using the glow maker and it’s so good 😊
Love this video!!💗 would love to know your am/pm cleansers in your next video!
What a great video! I am almost out of my Timeless VitaminC serum and am debating trying out the Glow Maker instead... what to do, what to do!? I also use several PC products and love them. I also love my La Roche Posay Effaclar anti-aging serum... so very good!
What products do you recommend for someone using Paula’s Choice for the first time?
Lol 😂
Yeah, that is an unimpressive ingredient list for sure. Better for those with sensitive skin that can't take a lot of actives.
I have the black version of your pajamas! They are super comfy. I love the stars above brand!
You should try Naturium! Similar to the ordinary but the formulations are much better in my opinion.
Hi Jessica! Love your recommendations and was wondering which eyebrow growing serum you use? I remember you mentioned it in a past video but I can’t find it.Your recommendations never disappoint!!
It's the Grande one I think!
Jessica are you still using the DE retinol? Wondering if you are still liking it or switched to a different one. Thanks for the video!
I have to have the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum! It’s super expensive...but worth the price to me! I went and tried another serum but my texture was back! I didn’t realize how much it helps my skin until I went without it!
